BT also produces its own brands of electronic equipment and products, as do many other companies. You do not need a licence to sell BT products or those from any other company. The only requirement arises if you want to become an approved wholesaler. In that case, you must obtain permission from BT, which involves dealing with hundreds or thousands of BT products and can be quite challenging. If you are simply buying from a supermarket, car boot sale (yard sale), or dealing with used items, you do not need a licence and can sell as much as you want. Additionally, you can buy BT products from a wholesaler and sell them without needing a licence. Since you are selling a product and not providing a service, you do not need a licence from the government.
