It's surprising - in a good way - that small retailers can commission these models. Thanks for all the films - Happy Christmas to you and your family. Ian

Yes really nice it's got a coreless motor but a big one. I'll be putting a 100uf non polorised capacitor across it.

There were no Co-Co or Bo-Bo diesel hydraulics as all wheels were connected together through the drive shafts and gearbox.

Loved the History and I thoroughly enjoyed the video thank you Mike I have a Lima Class 42 Warship D828 Magnificent Although the loco doesn't have any Running numbers so I had to do a bit of History research to be able to find out what Running number Warship "Magnificent" Carried so I could get the right Number transfers

Great video. Always been a Warship fan, a real shame that the diesel hydraulics were axed after such a short time in service. BR green without the yellow warning panels looks stunning.

Hi Adi, I think this might actually have been the Dapol factory that made this. It has many similarities to their packaging and accessories. It is a great model, I've seen nothing but praise for it online, the only issues being as Mike says, the disc fitment and some had trouble with the couplings. Neil.

@@AdiPullen no need to apologise, it doesn't matter who made it, as long as its done well, which it is. Heljan did the Olivia's Trains Class 77 EM2s which use the same bogies.

Hi Mike, the odd thing is the real ones lasted 10 years and there have been model ones for 50 years. Now imagine these being models for 5 times lomger than the service life; Gronks, Rats, Tractors, Whistlers and Hoovers. Bachmann still building these in the 24th Century

I really enjoyed this video review Plus I enjoy looking at the details of your layout Noticed today you have prototypical gaps between the rails I can’t quite work out what the rail is bedded on Is it cork?🤔
