After a ton of shopping and test driving trucks, I got myself a 2 owner 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 with the 24 valve Cummins and I love it. Nothing better than a good truck that you love. I recommend putting winches on the front bumpers of your rigs and get some bolt-on pebble guards so that you don't flick rocks back onto each others windshields going down back country roads. The raptors are kind of a wide, ungainly truck for trail riding but what you could do is road trip to MOAB, rent a jeep and save the wear and tear on your rigs.

Make sure you're on top of servicing those vehicles. Have them checked constantly before and after long off road journeys. Make sure everything is sealed up properly, and don't submerge them too deep for too long. Some tend to have electronic issues when exposed to intense amounts of muddy terrain.

Here's a philosophy fun fact: The vehicle you drive equates to the place you typically get, in tourneys or life. If JayRod has a seminar at your gym and your wondering why a new purple belt kid just smashed your whole class, it's because he drove up in a Raptor, and most of you came in Chevy Impalas. Due to size, I would think NickyRod gets the better of JayRod a little, and when you look outside, you'll see Jays awesome truck, but also Nickys awesome +1 truck. It's just a little better, possibly due to size also (37" vs 35"). Meanwhiile, your boy Nicky R, hell I don't know what he drives, I think he Ubers and gets rides mostly, so he might be in a Raptor one day, and a Ford Escort the next. Which parallels with his competition results. Gordon, on the other hand, of course sports a Toyota, that could be considered the king, but has transmission issues that no mechanic can truly figure out. When the tranny is good, the truck rules supreme, but only when there are no tranny/tummy issues. The moral of the story, and the real question you need to ask yourselves is... what kind of vehicle do you drive?
