Dale taught me all I know about driving the Nordschleife in the wet. I've spent at least 150 laps in wet conditions and still learning. Awesome driving Dale!💪👍

So glad you feel that way, but we're all learning every single day. The best thing about the Nordschleife is that it's nearly IMPOSSIBLE to learn 100%, as it's changing every day.

Got a great ride with Dale in the 4-door Jaguar (together with Andrew). At that point I had done a lot of wet laps but still learned soooo much. Still learning. Thank you Dale!

Great lap man. Drove a base A110 a couple years back, and haven't stopped talking about them since. Such a great communicative car.

Dale I enjoyed the era of project 328i, rent4ring swifts, BMW race taxi, when you purchased a Leon ST cupra, milltek projects, jaguar taxi laps, even Im not a motorbike guy all the two wheel action is unique.. But what most I enjoyed is when you showed us the 24h races. Suddenly sharing content seems It was was cancelled to you, the one who invented the Touristenfahrten lap guides, a very skilled driver with no egos and very down to earth compared to those who get here with a recent purchased skill. I hope you can do incredible projects the incoming years

Thanks for the kind words, let's see how many of my ideas I can turn into reality before the real world gets in the way lol

THANK YOU ! Finally someone saying not to rely on the ABS in a street car. I'd wager a lot of people struggling with brake temps and installing BBKs on stock cars are guilty of this too, makes a huge difference to temps to brake into the ABS hard. Often the difference between fade and no fade, on top of just braking worse, dry or wet. Heck, in some cars it can be so bad it can completely ruin the balance of your car on entry, ask a friend of mine lmao (Scion FRS). Race car developped ABS is different, but street car stuff is just meant for you to panic brake and be able to steer, nothing else.
@BTGDaleАй бұрын
Yeah, racing ABS is different, but even in a GT3 car, you can't just rely on it without seeing your laptimes get worse. Thanks for the 10 year sub, BTW!

Love the on board of the differnt wet lines. I am no where near brave enough to do a wet lap! Learnt the amazing difference the laid down rubber makes doing a wet day at brands hatch. Crossing the rubbered in line round clearways was like crossing a river of oil! All good fun though 😅

Thanks for the sub! Having fun in the wet is as simple as moving your goals ;)

@@mozyhar Assuming it hasn't been changed since this car was built its 245 8x18 on the front and 265 9x18 on the rear. Dale does a full rundown of the A110 specs in his time attack video from around a year ago.

Wow. Whatever Photoshop and AI magic this is - I like it. Seriously - now I see the obsession with this Renault wunderkind car. I would probably have hitted (hit? stupid principal forms, anyone?) brakes hundreds of times more often - or hitted the wall - one time more often. Amazing little weapon. Kuddos to Renault for making it (and the opposite of kuddos for calling the performance version of the new electric Renault 5 an "alpine something or other", thus diluting and overfrenching the whole brand) - but naming aside, the hype for the car seems to be well deserved. Wonder what a bigger turbo and some brake mods would do to this french frogleg... sorry, baguette... sorry, what else is french... escargot, yeah.
