BTL | Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry, DDP vs. Adesanya, McGregor & Chandler's Future, UFC Saudi Arabia

While a couple of huge fights in the #MMA and #boxing world have been announced - with one, in particular crossing over into both sports - the future of another massive fight is still up in the air. Jake Paul and Mike Perry are set for a boxing match on July 20, while Dricus Du Plessis will defend the #UFC middleweight title against former champ Israel Adesanya in the main event of #UFC305 in August.
On an all-new edition of Between the Links, the panel reacts to Paul vs. Perry being booked ahead of Paul's November matchup with Mike Tyson, discuss if it's a big risk for Paul, and what Perry would gain with a win. if Mike perry gets destroyed and koed he wont win anything it's going to be like aldo getting koed by conor, you don't become a bigger star by losing devastatingly and so aldo didn't become a super star. to come out of this fight with Jake as a much bigger star Mike perry needs to either win or lose a decision in a fight in which he had good moments against Jake. he also needs to make him self memorable to the audience immediately after the fight whether its in the post fight ring interview or in the subsequent few days after the fight, whether it's by saying some childish but funny stuff or doing something controversial, or making a really good case have a rematch in his domain and territory which is bare knuckle or mma.

You still don't know why they waited this long to announce conor was out ? If I had to guess I would say the ufc wanted to make it harder for the fans to cancel their flight tickets, hotels they saved for the fight week and ultimately the ufc tickets for the event. Ps: if pereira beats jiri again he should immediately call out Jon jones in a historic attempt for the first 3 devision champion status and avenging a nother lose his friend and trainer glover suffered against jones, he already avenged glover loses to hill and jiri can he also do it against jones too. That fight will easily be the biggest fight of the year, it's either this or he faces ankalaev and Jones doesn't want to fight Tom.
