As soon as I saw the first video of 'evidence,' I knew it was going to somehow be related to Forum's weird ass tablet settings. The fact nobody even thought to replicate his settings before publishing their findings is beyond me. Not even mentioning the timing of their post and the name of their group, it seems this all came out of pure malice.

Crazy how much a huge ego and a huge skill issue can combine to create a situation like this lmao I fully understand looking into players you find suspicious, but at least guarantee your evidence is fool proof to not make yourselves look like idiots when it gets debunked within 2 hours. FR tho, I really hope there are some repercussions for this situation to show that such malicious targetted bullying (witch hunting a single player like this with a whole group of high profile members and releasing half baked evidence on the day of one of forum's biggest tournament matches of his career) like this from "pillars of the community" is absolutely unacceptable. Especially Zylice, who should immediately be in the red for having Maple installed, using it on osu! (offline or not) and knowing the ins and outs of how to use Maple. What makes the whole situation worse is that as far as we know publicly none of the offenders have actually apologised to forum directly (maybe they did privately but forum did mention how he still hasn't received an apology however many hours ago) they instead apologised to the community to try and save face like undignified rats. The backlash they face has to be the most deserved backlash in osu! history and again I really hope there are actual repercussions for this malicious slander.

The only reason people are so pissed at the squad if because this got debunked 2 hours after it got posted. This just shows poor research. The backlash they brought upon themselves by posting this poorly researched, yet serious accusation, on a public space for all to see. In theory what they were doing isn't that bad though. They had suspicions of forum cheating. Zylice took it upon himself to investigate cheat software to get a better understanding of how it works, and to illustrate what they believe to be evidence. I don't think he deserves to be restricted for this at all. Nor should anyone for cheating offline. I don't know why that's even a thing, imo, if your not submitting cheated plays why are you getting banned? Sure. They brought the hate upon themselves. They made a mistake and in the process attacked one of the most loved players on osu! and did so on a public platform for the world to see. We all make mistakes, however most of us have the luxury of those mistakes not being ridiculed and talked about by tens of thousands of people.

I mean yeah forgiveness is important and sure everyone makes mistakes. But to make a mistake this bad after 4 years of research? It really chalks up to the investigation team either being absurdly careless and stupid or genuinely malicious. Most people believe that there was some malice behind the investigation because this is arguably the worst osu investigation by relatively prominent players ever made and because the investigation was published right before one of Forum's biggest tournament matches.

@@jfan3049 they pointed out two things, i really doubt there was 4 years of continuous research done on this tbh. if anything the reason it took them 4 years is because they were trying to find more proof and couldn't. It was either a moment of blind stupidity or like you said maybe some malice. Maybe forum did something to rub badeu the wrong way. Either way we can't say for sure and without any kind of solid proof that they intended to sabotage coarse, we shouldn't assume that's the case.

lol if the stream freezes due to him tabbing in or out (or just due to stream lag/low bitrate) the stream will freeze for a split second the immediately catch up to the real stream. I’ve seen that happen a ton on a variety of different streams

What's crazy is that I feel like its common knowledge that forum plays on mouse mode??? Like that and doubletapping sliders is kinda his playstyle gimmick? And his tablet settings are public??? why not test it at all. Even if he way replay editing, with a single monitor the same discrepancy wouldn't happen in his edited replays anyways. I get the importance of transparency in reports, and that there should be nothing to lose from raising suspicion when warranted but this was debunked so quickly its laughable. Why you would bring this up so publicly (with your name attached) rather than just letting osureport test and figure it out first is beyond me
