This is one of the few actors playing Jesus who has such a friendly face and voice that it shows Jesus was a friendly man and it's easier to relate to. It seemed to me as he was playing he actually beliefs what he said too and the twinkles in his eyes and the gentleness in his voice seemed to express the Holy Spirit living within him. I thought this must be a born again Christian.. and read his name in the comments below. And searched and indeed he is a brother in Christ. The movie touched me. Glory to God!

I get so weary with the blatant evil in the world, it is hard to keep walking the road of faith, believing in what you can't see...and listening to all the negative doubters trying to snatch even that from you. Thank you for sharing the video & may many be brought to a better understanding to the "whole" bible summed up the person and life of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world...thank you Jesus!

Christ is raised up from the dead, again, in you. God's Kingdom is you. Don't look into the world. Christ in you is the hope of Glory. When we enter the tomb, put to death our old man, self, when we seek God, bow down and ask God, then we will see. Christ is born again, in you. You are a Child of God. Don't put your hope in the world. Got to roll that stone away. The burdens, the lies, the labels. The mill stones around our necks. Roll it away, bow down, enter the tomb and be raised up. You are the light in the world God's Will not the will of the body. I pray all will see. Christ in you is the hope of Glory. Heart Mind, feelings and temple Mind, thoughts become of one mind. Betrothed, cleave together, become one. No longer of two minds, one foot in death (sea) and one foot in life, (earth). Christ is risen this day in you. I loved this. Thank you for posting it. Two small clarifications on King David's fall: 1. David did more than sleep with Bethsheba and then kill Uziah. He failed in his duties as King, as God commanded that during the season of war, the King was to be with the troops. David did not do this. He sent other men's sons and other men to fight Israel's battles. He is beginning to act like Saul. Also, remember that its during this season of war that David looks out from his palace and sees Bethsheba bathing. David has sinned as King of Israel, and becomes tempted into another. David lays with Bethsheba, and gets her pregnant with a boy. 2. David did not set out to kill Uziah and marry Bethsheba. He called Uziah home three times for Uziah to sleep with his wife and thus hide the child's true origin. Uziah refused to sleep with his wife as it was against the decrees of God for a soldier to lay with his wife during a time of war. (This is because a soldier should be in the field of battle during a season of war, not home with his wife. (wink wink nudge nudge DAVID!). I do also want to quickly honor Uziah, a pagan born loyal servant of the King of Israel AND loyal to the Law of God as well. However, Uziah's righteousness brings the final dastardly step in David's fall from grace David decided to kill Uziah, marry Bethsheba, and thus hide his sins, having broken God's Law 3 times.

Titus Chapter 2 1 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: 2 That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience. 3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; 4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. 6 Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded. 7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, 8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you. 9 Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again; 10 Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things. 11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. 15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

Bruce Marciano portrays a great Jesus,, He is in all the David A.R.White Revelation road movies, and the 2 encounter ones, Where he is a owner of a diner out in the middle of nowhere "Last chance diner" I believe it was called, Fabulous! It was called the Encounter I believe! I see Jesus like this as he is portrayed in the Encounter movie! Not only is he an actor he is a true Christian believer, Yes the other actors weren't Emmy quality, But as I mention above it is the message that is the thing that makes this short clip,, I am going to show to my grandchildren!

@@davidbento9459 To be quite honest, I do really not know any actor, who hath ever played Yeshua more authentically than Bruce. He played in the Gospel of Matthew, he played in Acts (Story of the disciples/Apostles), he played in The last Supper, in Road to Emmaus, in Encounter 1 and 2, he played in much more, which I couldn't see all, but ... ... the ones I could see, are so incrrredibly awesome, that, especially in the Encounter 1+2, when he begs the ones, who're going to be doomed, to repent, I always get goosebumbs and tears, cuz it's touching my heart with such a deep, not painful, but warm soft touch. And when You'll keep before Your eyes, that the displayed/played love of Bruce (not meant as an offense, dear beloved Brother Bruce) is but as tiny as one sand corn in comparation to Jesus neverending, timely and spatial infinite love, as big as the sand of all deserts of all planets, that ever existed from beginning on, this amount of sand, in brackets and squared, and even this amount could never measure even nearly the incredible size of his neverending love ... then You have a shadow of a clue of a glimpse, how indefinable gigantic his love is ... for all and every single soul, that ever hath dwelled in this awesome, perfectly created world, which is the best proof for the existence of a lovingly creator, that will ever be shown to man. His love is from such a incomprehensible giant kind, that a sinful mind, even if saved, can never know, let alone fully understand and reproduce a love of that size, and I know, that dying of hunger is a better way to check out, than to reject his love, his sacrifice and his help, and to become rich by doin' what is evil. In one very depressed moment, I was playin' with the thought, to take my bible, leave germany, go to Islamic State of Iraq and preach 'em the good news of God's soon coming kingdom. The best, that could happen, would be the rescue of all of their souls and the "worst" that could happen, would be my own death. If my death would have led them sooner or later to repentance and to become saved souls, I could be okay with my end. Now, I'm going to stay, where I are, in middle germany, but if God really, ever wanted me to do this, I hope, he will send me a clear understandeable message. In every case, His will be done. If I live, blessed be his name, when- or wherever or however I leave my body and go home, blessed be his name. What so ever may happen, in every case (Baruch haShem-> ) his name shall be blessed and his will shall be done.

He also plays a contemporary Jesus in two films "The Encounter". Just search IMDB for his name, and you'll get the full line of movies in which he played the Christ.

Alrthough it is not known for certain that the 2 people Jesus followed and walked with on the road to Emmaus were male, I just heard a sermon where the preacher referred to the peo ple as a man and a woman ( assumption this was Clopas' wife) , and after much research, the conclusion was thatTwo Disciples. One was Alphaeus, known as Clopas were whom were walking with Jesus, this resouce was take from Global Christian Center. It seems clear that both Alphaeus and Mary were Disciples, they were both in Jerusalem at the Passover and the Crucifixion of Jesus. They would not travel on the Sabbath, but on the first day of the week after finding the Grave empty. Mary was one of the women who reported the empty tomb to the Apostles, then left to go back home to Emmaus together with her husband. The first day of the week, was a work-day in that time and culture. It is inconceivable that Alphaeus would leave his wife back in the City, and travel home with someone else. If the second person was one of the apostles, it would contradict the story of these two reporting to the 'eleven' (Luke 24:33). Note: The author has a picture he took of a bold relief, above the entrance to the old church in Emmaus that shows a man and a woman with Jesus breaking bread. This picture accompanies this article on Global Christian Center (© Copyright 2014 J. Cole-Rous). It is my considered opinion that the unnamed Disciple was Mary the wife of Alphaeus, who was not named, because in addressing the ‘stranger' on the road he says ‘some of the women' came and reported the resurrection. He was diplomatically protecting his wife in front of the "Stranger". Great message here , about how walkign with Jesus we often dont even recognize Him,until He invites us in, What a great reminder of how Jesus seeks us out to put us in His Know,

What an amazing film. Thank You. But I have one But,.. Jesus was not crucified on Friday... He was actually crucified on the Day of the High Shabbat of Nissan 14, which was the Wednesday before Passover (our Easter). High Shabbat began from sundown Wednesday night till sundown Thursday night, not to be confused with normal Shabbat which is sundown Friday night till sundown Saturday. It was the custom at that time, bodies were not to remain on the cross after sundown of a Shabbat, if He had not died naturally, His legs would have been broken, which would not have followed scripture. Therefore He was crucified and died on the Wednesday and removed from the cross before the High Sabbath began. He was resurrected on the first day of the week, which is anytime from Saturday sundown till Sunday sundown. It was early in the morning of the third day, that Mary found the Tomb was empty and realized He, the Messiah, had Risen.. ☺

I believe that by putting the pieces of the puzzle together one can see that the couple walking that eventful day were Cleopas--Greek (Cleophas--Hebrew) and his wife Mary (John 19:25), since they were at the cross.

Titus Chapter 3 1 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, 2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men. 3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. 4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. 8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. 9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. 10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; 11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself. 12 When I shall send Artemas unto thee, or Tychicus, be diligent to come unto me to Nicopolis: for I have determined there to winter. 13 Bring Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their journey diligently, that nothing be wanting unto them. 14 And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful. 15 All that are with me salute thee. Greet them that love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. Amen. (It was written to Titus, ordained the first bishop of the church of the Cretians, from Nicopolis of Macedonia.)

Titus Chapter 1 1 Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness; 2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; 3 But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour; 4 To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour. 5 For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee: 6 If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly. 7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre; 8 But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate; 9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. 10 For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: 11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake. 12 One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies. 13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; 14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth. 15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. 16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Thank you so very much for leaving this video, "Road to Emmaus" available on here. This gives a true picture of the life of Jesus, what He went through and how He, our Lord, Savior and Messiah has come to save us to live eternally with Him. Jesus is the Messiah. He is King above all other kings and Lord above all lords. He's coming back. Are you ready to meet the Lord? Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." ~~ JESUS OF NAZARETH IS ALIVE. + Watch and listen to this video and get the truth of why and how Jesus had to die, so we can live forever. +

Even with the issues we've discussed about the quality of the film and the quality of acting in this particular short film, I think this is still one of my favorite stories in the Bible. Has anyone noticed that Bruce seems to bring up the Ten Commandments thing in just about every flick he's done? Almost like he's trying to make some point like perhaps he's never failed at them or something? I still wish him well with his career! God Bless Bruce.

I just realized in the credits where they have Bruce listed first before anyone else or anything else, they mispelled his last name? Is it actually that way on the DVD? How bogus is that, lol?

Unless I missed the comment, no one has mentioned the fact that this event didn't take place with Jesus stopping at someone's house, rather they stopped at a tavern along the route towards the evening hours.

Why argue if He died on a Friday or any other day - if He was born in December or September - born in year 0 or 3 AD ... it is THE MESSAGE that counts - nothing else !
