alot of people are STILL underrating DeSanto...I'm telling you, mark my words....he will be an All-American this year (And before you say this is a vague prediction, just think about how stacked the 133lb class is this year...so no, it's not) And I truly believe, depending on the draw, he a dark horse for making the finals and heck maybe winning the thing! I haven't seen anyone @ 133 or any weight class for that matter compete with the same amount of intensity DeSanto brings. His motor is incredible it's like he CAN'T run out of gas...now we all know that's not true but it sure does look like it sometimes. I think this kid is a great fit for Iowa and with that 1-2 punch of he and Spencer lee at beginning of the line up I see big things happening for the Hawks in the future.

If DeSanto really wanted to rub it in, he should have did that last lift and walked it over to the Nebraska bench instead of the Iowa side and shushed them (Berger in particular) as he GENTLY lay the guy down for the tech fall, like hes putting him to sleep. That would have been so humiliating to the bench especially given Bergers earlier antics towards the Iowa bench.

I love this kid! He's great for the sport of wrestling ... Win or lose he's going to show up and he is better at half speed than most are at full speed! There are life lessons ,. always working on himself, always trying to improve himself, always trying to be the number one athlete or even student. DeSanto appears to take a total approach to things.
