In their peak (2015-2018) BtoB were the KINGS of Korea... believe me when I say this, their maknae Sungjae was probably THE MOST POPULAR MALE IDOL in 2018 in Korea, upto the point where there was an insane crowd wherever he went for his drama shoots or his BtoB activities... same applies for the rest of the members, until they slowly started to enlist in the military... And I agree that this kind of music is not really appreciated internationally, coz there is a reason... It's because any BtoB song, more than the dance, the performance, etc., ALWAYS focuses on the LYRICS of the song... there is super indepth-ness to each and every song, as the lyrics are written by the member (ex) Ilhoon and others... It's a shame that their music is not well recognised internationally, and their Korean popularity has also reduced significantly after 2018 due to the rise of others, but members Hyunsik and Sungjae are finally finishing their service in Nov 2021, so they will be back, and BtoB will definitely rise again! mark my words, and pls support them :)

Only one for me was also composed by Hyunsik. And you can see why Changsub is labeled as the intro fairy. He starts in most BTOB songs as he and Eunkwang can carry emotion in their voices. BTOB is the male counterpart of Mamamoo. I'm a Moomoo and it was a breeze to slip into the Melody fandom when I started watching Kingdom. Both groups are the "dove" of their respective shows.

Both songs are good, but especially "Missing You" is one of the most loved songs in Korea! You can see that "Missing You" is the 3rd longest charted K-pop idol song (On Melon, the largest music site in Korea) right after BTS's "Spring Day" and "Boy With Luv."!

Ilhoon is a really good rapper. He made me love rap because of his melodic flow. If you listen to more tracks, you'll notice how good he is at following the melody of the song. He's rapping is so flexible, he can adjust to any genre he performs to. He never sounded detached to the song. He always blend well with the vocals. I love Ilhoon and I still cry knowing he's no longer part of BTOB. But I'll keep hoping he'll be back.

I'm truly grateful Kingdom has introduced BTOB to a bigger audience because their music is truly unique in Kpop (we call it BTOB genre) as you dive deeper in their discographies, no matter how diff. the genre's are, you'll notice how distinct the sound is to their identity. BTOB is already considered legends in Korea, actually. They cater to a wide spectrum of listeners. They trend from age 10 brackets to age 40s. Their members are musical actors, drama actors, composers (even in other groups), DJs, and even sets records in sports. Main Rapper Ilhoon, is one of the most copyrighted idol producers in Kpop. (Unfortunately, he's no longer part of the group...) They switch parts however they want because all of them can be vocals and rappers. (Not exaggerating when we say they're all-rounders. Korean Media introduces them that way too) Such a shame the world didnt get to see all 7 of them in Kingdom. They're even more chaotic as 7. I could go on and on. I'm sorry. 😂 I hope you stick with them for a long time. I assure you, BTOB is a group extremely dedicated in music. 😁

Yes you're right, most of BTOB's mvs are like movie scoring, twist of drama and show us many sides of Korea not only indoor mv shooting setup (not to mention they're all great actors tho).
