Another great video mate. I'd love to doctor the new V2 cams to know how much Adv has been ground in to understand valve events (which they used to give). Being a VT, does it still have the LS1 intake manifold and not LS6?

These cams are also the BTR Hot Rod and BTR Red Hot, Stage 1 and 2 Centrifugal, and stage 1 and 2 PDS. They are two of the most well designed camshafts superchargers on the market, and of course work well NA too.

Stathi you need to try the cam motion little chopper 222/232 595" 587" on 108lsa will probably need a convertor but should be like the truck norris on roids

If either of those btr cams had a 108 lsa they can make more torque and power in the low end and still not lose anything up top. Richard holdener showed it in his tests and his followers commented alot about tight lsa being better in all their different applications. I wonder why these are 112/113 there must be another reason.

The reason is probably manifold vacuum at idle.

@@JustinJackson-r9q I’ve still got the original intake, early heads, full exhaust and just vcm alloy otr and it made 270kw on dyno. But it drives amazing, still kept standard converter.

Great vid as usual mate but isnt the stage 2 v2 221/24X, .624/.636, 112 LSA ? Same as red hot cam. Do you think the stage 2 v2 would shine more on 6l 6.2 with rec port heads ?

The cam specs I have referenced are correct BTR have actually made a misprint and need to update their website. I nearly went crazy after I made this video and realised they were different but after getting clarification they are correct. The stage 2 will come into its own with a good set of cylinder heads, We will be testing on a 6l in the coming weeks And that's when we should see it's true potential

If your not going to flog it around the street and rev your motor its a waste of time camming it in my opinion, just keep the factory cam in and enjoy your fuel economy.

You don't have to flog your engine to enjoy the power some people prefer their power on the bottom side and others prefer it on the top side. Personal preference that's what it comes down to and as a workshop you need to be able to deliver a package that suits your customer and not your preferences.
