BTR LS3 STAGE 3 CAMSHAFT
Specs: 229/244 .615"/.595" 113+4
The LS3 camshaft lineup was born from an assortment of custom grinds, dyno testing, daily driving, and real world experience. This camshaft will not require any flycutting of pistons with OEM LS3 combustion chamber size. If you mill your heads, it is always advised to check piston to valve clearance is at an optimum level. We have seen 480whp from this grind and supporting modifications. It will require a 3 bolt cam gear and proper valvetrain components. If you're application has an automatic transmission, consult with your tuner for torque converter needs. We advise an aftermarket stall for this grind.

Year ago, installed in LS3 a BTR Stage 2 cam, valvetrain upgrade: trunnions, springs, seals, pushrods; tune. Dyno'ed at 451 rwhp on dynojet with factory NPP exhaust. Everything else is stock. Have about 8k miles since done, still doing fine. Looking back, would like to have done a before-cam-swap dyno pull so would have a baseline comparison. Figuring a 12% drivetrain loss (so I'm told) on the stock 436hp nets to about 380rwhp. Comparing that to what I gained, I figure 451hp minus 380hp nets 71 hp gain. BTR says will gain 67 hp, so sounds about right. The peak hp is found about 200 rpm higher than stock peak hp. Good driveability with manual trans. Might have less desirable street manners with an automatic trans.

Yes I added a BTR stage 3 with new valve springs, retainers, clips and hollowed-our my stock cats. Picked up 58 WHP! My motor is making 520+

Will this be ok for PTV clearence on a 6.0 with 823 heads? Stock gasket thickness.

It's great, drives like stock with my 6 speed. 431rwhp with cam, longtubes, and tune only. NEVER stalls, ever.
