Yeah man sick. I've owned mine for 2 weeks. It's still stock but I'm going to get an intercooler, intake and remap for starters. I've already got some headlights from Spec D tuning need to install them. I'm over in the UK and Veloster turbo's are super rare over here. Love yours I've not seen that colour before and sounds amazing. Subscribed!

I used too live in the UK till 2013. Had a VW Passat 140 BHP Turbo re~mapped too 170 BHP Midway between Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich. Over in North Carolina now and have a 2015 Black Veloster Turbo 201 BHP but it's not easy too find anyone too tune a Korean car around here! I've heard of Blood Red Racing they did a 500 BHP Veloster i believe but not sure what state this guy lives in ?🤔 I believe there is a place in Arizona that does a ECU flash that's clear across the country. I'm ok with the 201 though , the car really shifts. The new N is like 275 BHP but they screwed up the more aggressive body style of the older model in my opinion.👍😎

Dont get me wrong, I love exhaust and turbo pops but it almost feels like yours is a little too much/too often. Unless you're purposely making it pop by gassing it, then it sounds great.

I have a 2013 Veloster Turbo and I'd love to get backfire! I've been doing a few things but tuning was something I wasn't sure if I needed or wanted. Just out of curiosity how much does it cost around to get the "snap crackle pop" tune? I don't know much about cars.. I'm learning about it all with my Veloster, but now I'm defiantly down and interested in getting a proper tune for my car Edit: Also when you're shifting since it's automatic are you going in and out of the "standard mode" (paddle shifting) to drop your RPM's for the backfire?

Yeah I passed Illinois emissions with the tune. Yes The pops were very controllable they only popped over a certain RPM.

When you say you have a muffler delete, which muffler are you talking about? The one in the middle or the one in the rear? I disconnected my rear muffler a while back and absolutely hated the way it sounded and it felt like I lost a LOT of power

Sean Callahan are turbo or NAV? The thing in the middle is a resonator, there’s only one muffler..also I didn’t just disconnect the muffler..it was replaced with a Y pipe and ran out to the stock tips.

I have a Solo Performance CatBack with catalytic catalyst delete and did the shift control softener switch mod for the more sporty shifts and pops. Spent way below $2000. Pops when I want it to vs all the time like this video. Sounds like the pops are high pitch in this video? Do you like this tune for every day? Ps. Would highly recommend the 3rd Gen Solo Performance Catback!

The cars gone and for the purpose of the the video all I did and showed were the pops. Kinda dum to show a video of a popping tune and not show it pop...I can drive 4 hours straight and the car would not pop once.

Hmm interesting 🤔 I will definitely be getting a tune. Just did the shifter bushings upgrade from BTR and it's awesome! There's lots of Velosters where I live and I find some of them are modded. It's a fun platform to work on! Will probably run mine to the ground before I give it up!

With all due respect the non Turbo is not a good starting point ! My brother had one the Vitiman C color. Obviously a Veloster but dog slow compared too the Turbo. Id trade the non Turbo for a Turbo and start from there depending on your fiances . The Turbo has 201 the new N 275 but I'll keep my 15 because I don't like the re~design of the N. If you really wanted a balls out V then the N.is the way to go then increase the tune on that.

I wanna install a cat back exhaust next but I’m trying to choose one. I’ve had magnaflow on my 08 Eclipse so I’m familiar with that brand but not sure about the others, any ideas or advice?

be careful with modding your car. that model year has known issues with the motor internals. many blown motors.

Yea I've heard about the motors blowing and other issues with the 13 VT's. I'm hoping the previous owner got those issues fixed so I don't have to deal with them. I actually got a recall notice from my local Hyundai dealership. Not sure what the recall notice is about but i'll find out soon. Btw I got the magnaflow exhaust already and i'm working on a downpipe.

@@Jetlife33 good choice, alot of people run a magnaflow. I believe you can check your vin # to see if your car has the motor issues. Some do some don't apparently. SXTH element does really good quality aftermarket parts for these cars and their customer service is great as well.
