When he says “not at the top” he’s not referring to themselves (BTS). He’s talking about society and how there’s national pride without being honest that the system isn’t working for everyone, particularly the younger generations.
@ruthlessrays97614 жыл бұрын
Exactly. The video is explaining how the economic situation is and not only about BTS. I wonder if the words are just going in one side of his ears and coming out in the other side.

I think people dont realize that South Korean Suicide rate is so high and it is the second highest in the world. Here in America, although prices are high, as long as we move out and are trying our best we can survive. But in Korea, the pressure that is on the student to succeed is so high that if they fail to even pass a test they already have given hope on life. And the older generations dont see that as a problem in my opinion. If you are noticing that company aren't hiring based on the school that you go to or if you have an A on that final test, then that is just purely wrong. not to mention people pretty much sacrifice relationships and friendships to study for those entrance exams. like it is completely different culture and basis than what American people go through most of the time. plus the fact that younger generations are still supposed to respect the older generation even when something they say or do is wrong, is just not right. At least in America we can talk about injustice. I mean a good example of this would be the sewol tragedy. So for this. Id recommend watching the BTS Spring Day Explanation video. Also this is one thing I love about BTS. Somehow their songs are so relatable to everyone that eventho they have had different experiences, Americans and other people around the world are able to connect with them.

True, we also have to look at the size of the country too, like Korea is tiny compared to the US

growing up, i could lock eyes with any asian kid in my school and see the same psychological and emotional fear in their eyes put there by our parents. the amount of pressure to get good grades, get a career and get married, especially for kids who live in ASIA is like life or death. Just doing your best isn't even a concept in my culture, and it's something that's taken years for me to unlearn? this isn't a negative comment or argument towards u guys or anyone, just an observation i wanted to share :') This song always strikes a chord I think because i understand what that feels like so bad.

"crow tit" is what it's called in english, so blame english for that one. The Korean word Baepsae sounds much better in my opinion. (Note: sometimes the "B" in romanization for Korean sounds more like a "p" this is because there is no actual "B" sound in Korean language like there is in English. It's more like a really soft "b" or a mix between "b and p" depending on the word).

I don't comment or recommend much but, this is still one of my favorite BTS songs. Also I know someone mentioned Spine breaker and watching the DKDKTV explained for it, which I second that notion. Also songs like Paldogangsan/Aka Satoori Rap and My City are two really good ones if you want to know/learn a bit about where the members are from. My City is them hyping up where they're from, while Paldogangsan goes into the history of two regions and touches on being proud of where you're from. DKDKTV has an explained for Paldogangsan as well. 💜

Different Strokes for different folks. Some people allow the growth to happen and understand that when you're introducing something that's completely new to somebody there's going to be some uncomfortable moments, some unknown disrespects thrown around, and things are going to be said that as a fan you don't like. Some people allow that to happen. Some people don't. I appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy what we have coming up

Guys I appreciate your time and effort, I decided to give this channel a third chance after some comments made on other videos, because I live on Mexico, I still listen to the worst comments about BTS, just from a glance of them and without giving them another chance....we want to be accepted and respected as Mexicans on other countries but we can be as harsh as anyone...well I kept watching and watching, liking and commenting on your videos and I totally understand your point of views and I'm thankful you kept watching because really BTS has something for everyone, either be the music, the dancing, the performances, their lyrics, their personalities, their history or their passion for music, something sometime string a cord on you and then see them in another light. Hope I conveyed my thoughts well...💜 I purple you 💜

this is by far my favourite BTS song! BTS has mentioned on several occasions that they believe the song is so popular because of the choreography (specifically the hip thrusts) but the lyrics are what make the song for me.

Don't wanna monetize the account honestly. Plus since most of our videos have copyright content (music and such) we wouldn't get the money anyway lol we have a Patreon where we do extra stuff though. Extended commentary, special reactions, Korean food & drink tasting (coming soon), behind the scenes stuff and we get donations there

@@JellowQuake well your channel, your rules...though i still think you should get something from posting it, even just for your efforts...i love your channel's honesty on every reaction because watching bts reaction videos its kind of my weird thing right now (i really dunno why i dont get tired of watching their videos over and over) and i think a lot just in it for the clout and they are getting paid for it...your reactions are genuine, So i appreciate it very much.

4:06 You ask the viewer to appreciate that you guys are taking the time to learn about BTS. I'm sorry but that came off as very rude. *You are making content for your channel and you are making BTS a part of your channel NO ONE is making you do this you have chosen too.* Why should we the viewer appreciate that you guys are learning ??? Why does someone have to thank you for learning about other cultures ??? 4:34 "thank you for letting us learn" 4:37 "for thous letting us learn" NO ONE is holding you back from learning if you have the internet you can learn almost anything you want. Or can you only learn when a camera is on, have viewers and are thanked for it?. This video came off as very entitled as if the viewer owed you something. A Thank You that is asked for can not be genuine as it didn't come out naturally but a Thank you that is given organically is real.

I hope read this comment.Exo has 9 members.Oldest is 29 and youngest is 25 years old.They are known for their vocalists.They are one of the biggest kpop groups ever(thats why there is rivalry between exol and army)because of their huge fanbase and cause they have sold million+ copies of each of their albums.They are the money makers of SM ent.They have a huge international fanbase even though they don't promote in US.
