Can't believe that people complained about Kim Go Eul when Lee Min Ho basically plays the same role (handsome rich guy) in almost every drama I have ever seen him in but we don't get sick of it. I feel the actresses' presence is the only reason for the comparison to Goblin and the whole fantasy genre but the plots are quite different. The Eternal Monarch does have the tired trope of an over persistent male lead but people should withhold some judgement. Hopefully it does not dissapoint

I'm going to put my faith into the drama, mostly because I believe Lee Min Ho has amazing acting skills, as well as Kim Go Eun. I know The King has a slow startup, but I think some dramas that build up too much in the beginning tend to fizzle out in the middle, leaving the ending to be very lackluster. That's why I will put my faith in this drama, also for the writer as well, since I have enjoyed almost everything she has put out. I'm also putting my faith because of David! 😂 I hope everything works out for you! ☺️

@@selty there's a lot of artists that aren't pop artists in Korea that are super successful but never chart because the general public loves them and listens to their music but they don't really have a big dedicated fandom that specifically sets out to stream their songs over and over to get their songs charting. I'm one of those people that get annoyed when people compare this kinds of fandoms and say that the big ones listening to the same song are less valid or something but fact is that charts are not the most accurate way to see if a song is doing well. I don't know if they are being successful or not but I do know that to answer that question you'd have to look at a different source.

On the first day of bang bang con, I was so excited to watch it but everyone kept commenting and the video kept lagging. It was honestly so frustrating. I missed half of the performance. I put Bang Bang Con on my HD4K 75" TV and it looked like they where in my room! I watched all of them 12 hours each. They officially had 50 million viewers and set a record. Makes you wonder how many have tickets for their stadium concerts. I still hold my tickets and it just says postponed right now. ALSO... They only showed Korean concerts! I live in the US in the Eastern Time Zone (it started at 11:00 pm ended 10:00 am) and my daughter and I stayed up over night both nights to watch the entire Bang Bang Con. We also used our Army light sticks. It was a lot of fun. Yes I am still tired yet today. I am looking forward to watching The King, but I binge watch so I will wait for more episodes to be available. I'm still on the fence for eternal monarch. Lee min ho looks very kingly and handsome but there isn't that needed gravitas to the character. The drama has potential so I'm hoping it gets better as it progresses.

I personally stayed up on friday 11pm-10am and then on Saturday 11pm-10:55am to watch all of BanBangCon and it was worth every moment of no sleep. It was so cool to go back with BTS and feel like I was there from the beginning even if I joined ARMY in 2017. I'm definitely 0T7 forever #TeamBTS

I know BigHit has to be creative during tht challenging times, but I can't believe anything matches the live concert experience. I have tickets for a postponed show. I really hope I get to it! I'm sure the guys are pining to get on with what they do best. I think they feed off the energy and love of their fans at live concerts. This pandemic won't go on forever. I want the "old" live concert experience back!

the US not handling it in any way at all is going to be the main contributor to the duration of the pause. At this point I don't believe we will get it by the end of this year and then Jin won't even be there. =/

Yeah in S. Korea they will most likely be able to do concerts but seriously so many other countries right now can't handle well the pandemy it's normal to want the real experience but seriously anyone who think concerts will magically be held again very soon need to watch the news a bit more and more critic thinking We have to be patient, we have no choice in these circumstances

In California it is pretty hard to hold any large event. Even Comic Con has been cancelled. They are saying that we will not have any large events till 2021. I also have tickets and I am sad but I understand why this has to be done.

I have watched Secret Garden, Boys Over Flowers, The Heirs, DOTS (I get the reference of Yoongi lol) and Goblin and I love all of them so maybe I'm gonna check it ^^ The part of two worlds reminds me of the Disney film Enchanted but with a male protagonist

I actually loved the two first episodes of The King! I'm not even a big fun of Lee minho but I think this drama has a very good potential. it's very easy to criticize something that just started. I have faith in this amazing writers and insane cast! can't be too bad
