IF IT SAYS AUTO-GENERATED CCs JUST DONT USE, you’ll have to bear without it because back then they didn’t need to put captions since KPOP was not yet globally popular as it is now.

Guys, be careful with Closed Captions especially auto generated because not one word was showing correctly on the screen. They are basically asking what your future Dreams are and to go for it. Their songs are Positive.

Many bts songs are hiphop heavy esp the earlier ones. The rappers had a big part in their songwriting and production which is clearly visible in their discography

Thank you guys for reacting to their debut song!! BTS were originally supposed to be a hip hop group. Their earlier songs are mainly focused on hip hop. Then eventually evolved to what it is today. You guys got a lot to cover! lol 11 years of content. I hope the next song will be We are Bulletproof proof pt 2. Can’t wait to see what’s next. 💜 I forgot to mention, yes JK also rapped on the earlier songs.

Great debut. Even from the start, they were good. The first couple of videos don't have subtitles, but you can search for the video with subtitles. BTS started off as hip-hop groups, and they still do all of that.

It's their debut song they debuted on 13 June 2013 with this song. They still have lot's of Hip Hop within all their albums. Those 3 songs were just for fun due to covid. They are 3 Rapper's and 4 Vocalists in fact on one album there's a skit were they 7 members are all free style Rapping.

As you dive into their videos, I highly suggest finding English subs. It’s a must. Never use auto captions it’s always wrong and BTS is known for their lyricism so you have to get it right to understand why their songs hit like they do. Especially for rap line too. Can’t appreciate rap if you don’t get all the right bars.

Ahh they were such a passionate group of teens back then. They really laid the foundation for so much of their careers and personalities based on this song. I always considered 'No More Dream' to be the BTS thesis statement musically. This song is challenging the status quo of South Korea's children where kids often feel trapped in the dreams of their parents and what's expected of them socially. BTS took them aside and asked them if what they're doing is truly what they want and if that will really make them happy. It's encouraging kids to stop blindly following along and actually take time to consider themselves and their own dreams so they can create their own paths. As much as the song is overwhelmingly positive, it makes sense that the MV's visuals portray them as rebellious punks because even though they're encouraging kids to think for themselves and dream, to many of their parents that very message is dangerous and disruptive to how society should work. BTS stood a lot to lose in the beginning so it would have been safer to simply create easy to digest pop songs that wouldn't stir any pots. Debuting with social commentary was ballsy. They definitely earned the title of monster rookies.

I loved your reaction. BTS was earlier suppose to be all hip hop rap style group. They were such babies omygod. You should listen to another song “We are Bulletproof pt1 “ from their debut album. I mean you look how babies they were but the music quality never disappointed. Jungkook is just an all rounder. He started off as rapping a lot. Ah! I’ve been waiting for y’all to react to BTS TINY DESK CONCERT 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️ I’d really really really appreciate if you guys could react to it! Sorry this one doesn't have English subtitles and the auto generated one's will not make any sense whatsoever. Also their albums will follow their own stories of where they were in life at each point and will incorporate both their original influence's eg Rap and R &B but also all their other's genre's of music they enjoy. So you never know within an album what you're going to find. Also they have solo's and Sub unit songs within albums as well.
