A lot of my friends are into kpop, I am too but I wasn't as active as I use to be. they always talked about BTS, so i decided to check them out. at first I thought they were just like every other boy group, so I didn't care much about them. About 6-7 months later when dope came out, I watched their music video and their choreography drew me in. they impressed me but I didn't become a fan yet. I then heard their demo "butterfly" and it was very nice so I decided to check out their music and it was very different from other groups. I really like their lyrics and their awesome choreographies. and I then became a fan! je ne regrette rien! ❤

This MV is literally my aesthetic. I've been with SHINee since they debuted, completely and utterly in love with all of EXO's 12, but BTS is home. I can't explain it. They're so different from all the generic idols because they write music that reflects who they are that we can relate to, rather than their production team writing perfect scripts for them to follow so that they "sell well". I feel so sad as an EXO-L and Shawol because it took those boys forever to stand on their own two feet and put out their own music (Chanyeol's dream right now is to compose a track on an EXO album...like seriously SM he's one of the most famous idols out there, give him a break). I have so must respect for BTS and their team. Their music feels real, and what makes them even more loveable (other than their dorky personalities) is the fact that the music I listen to by them is BY THEM. That's why I feel so connected to them; they're real musicians. True artists. Lots of love from a fan in Australia💕

well let's remember they (their characters) were pretty depressed/everyone had mental illnesses or anyway serious problems... they were basically "escaping" for their sad reality and let's not "romanticize" that. But I understand the fact that their friendship is portrayed so beautiful and it's kinda fascinating and beautiful how they can have these small but precious moments of happiness together, even in those times. But we can't escape from reality all the time, let's remember that. As long as you are healthy, love yourself and you have beautiful people around, you already have a beautiful life, better than the one is portrayed here. Hyyh era is deep and beautiful because it teaches us that after all life is life and with your loved ones you can have these little beautiful moments also in the worst times, and that there are actually people around there that love you so much and want you by their side (like butterfly says), but as I said they can't stick there forever, this is temporary cause they, their storyline and with that their message developed in a such positive way, expecially with the love yourself series. lol i know I edited my comment a lot and I wrote everything in a so confusing way

Cuando era más pequeña, rondando los 10-11 años, empecé a stanear a BTS por mi cuenta. Un día, acostada en mi cama con los auriculares, apreté el videoclip de esta canción, osea, este video. Totalmente fascinada por lo que iba sucediendo a medida que avanzaba la canción, quedé atrapada por la historia, los chicos, las vibes, y la nostalgia tan extraña que me generaba al escucharla. Mientras más avanzaba y escuchaba todos los sonidos y sus voces, solo podia pensar en algo: "Esto yo lo viví" recuerdo que esa noche hasta lloré sin entender por qué. Fue una sensación que nunca antes habia tenido ni volví a tener. Lloré, porque sentia ese vacío dentro de mi, por alguna razón me sentia totalmente identificada y mi mente no paraba de mostrarme imágenes especificas de momentos que solian sonar como esta canción. Creia "extrañar" a los chicos, "extrañar" esa vida, que tanto mal me habia hecho en el pasado que nisiquiera estaba segura de si existía. Ahora, a mis 15 años, me hice una lectura de vidas pasadas. Por fin entiendo el por qué me siento tan atraída a esa vida tan "alocada" y fuera de lo normal de mi vida diaria. En el pasado tenia adicciones, hacia cosas ilegales, traicioné e hice mucho daño a mi familia, incluso fui arrestada y tenia problemas con las drogas y el alcoholismo. Vivía lejos de casa, prácticamente los abandoné. Hice mi vida, viví mi vida sin tener ninguna clase de control sobre mi y mis acciones, sin aceptar ninguna figura de autoridad. Por esta "locura", "rebeldía" y necesidad de sentirme "libre" constantemente, no pude seguir con mis estudios ni menos realizar mi talento, que según creo era el ballet. Esto de la gente joven de solo escapar de casa y meterse en cosas turbias, solia ser algo muy mio. Es por eso, que la canción y la historia del video de estos chicos, me hizo recordar a esos momentos que nisiquiera viví en esta vida, pero sí en otra. Me la pasé corriendo y escapando de mi realidad y de mi misma, autolesiones, sin respetar a nada ni nadie. Solia salir de madrugada e ir por fiestas tras fiestas, mi vida era un descontrol terrible. Era como un remolino. Es por eso que actualmente ese estilo de vida se me hace algo tan "atractivo" y varias veces mis amistades e incluso parejas se ven envueltas en esos ruedos, en el alcohol y toda clase de sustancias. No es más que un reflejo de algo que no sané anteriormente, y, probablemente en esta vida también se me van a presentar escenarios parecidos, pero esta en mi alejarme y cortar con esos patrones o volver a caer en lo mismo. Mi muerte fue trágica. Morí en una balacera, cuando una de las balas me dió en la nuca. Lugar donde ahora tengo mi lunar de nacimiento. Pero aquí estamos, solo queria comentar mi experiencia con esta canción, y el por qué me generaba tanta "nostalgia" le deseo mucho amor a la persona que este leyendo esto. No estas solo ❤
