yall looked disintrested as hell not gonna lie. thanks for the reaction but maybe u should react with sincerity next time because its obvious y'all weren't understanding what was being said except for the fourth guy reading the lyrics out loud. i can understand why u would think hobi's(jhope's) verse was unique in the fourth cypher but u have to pay attention for it to hit hard. a lot of people only like rap that's easy to understand and with heavy beats. i've noticed that, and that's why real rap can't thrive in kpop or in the states. for example, megan thee stallion is a TRUE rapper, but most focus on her trauma and not her actual lyricism and bars. that's why we got mediocre artists like ice spice who can't even freestyle but deemed a "good rapper." an example in korea would be that everyone enjoys the most boring, repetitive and simplistic rap in kpop and that's exactly the people they were denouncing in these cyphers. rappers who only say "two to three words like a hospital patient" can get away with jack from the kpop world and the underground korean rappers. u have to pay attention to what they're saying, their flow, and the understanding of the song. if you can't, then really can you judge what it sounds like, and whether you like it? most kpop stans agree that bts' rapline is THEE best in kpop. they are the ones who actually take note of legends like J. Cole, Nas, Biggie, Tupac and study. most kpop rappers do not. they got my respect, as a black woman. hopefully you guys will pay more attention next time. no hate to you, cause u don't have to like a song, but to act like it was thrown out to the public just because.. is kindaaa crazy lmao. thanks tho ig.

Cypher pt 4 This is the only cypher RM didn't add English so it sounds a bit different and makes a point. Also he slows it down a bit. Jhope’s verse as a dancer and a more modern type style is used. It's something that represents his dance and rapping. Suga Suga is himself. He's unforgiving and he says pls be healthy after saying you'll get shot n he will fly over your corpse. So basically Suga. The challenges of the beats and how they rap over it is 👍. So try to take that beat and rap over it.

Musically he’s most adventurous these days bending genre and sounds. 😼SUGA (alter ego Agust D) is “classical and introspective”. He’s a producer at heart so he will give you the 360 auditory experience 🐿 J-HOPE is “retro old school meets new age”. He’s a dancer at his core so his music puts a lot of focus on unique beats and cadence TLDR version: SUGA will tell you you are sh*t, RM will explain why you are sh*t, J-HOPE will tell you it’s okay to be sh*t 😂

You seen the live performance from 2017 where all of them were wearing white? That’s the best to check out of this medley. Live performance hits different. Trust and believe. You can feel the anger and the fire. Something that had died down with the BTS rap line and that is a good thing really. Can’t sustain that type of anger without destroying the self. (Speaking of burning yourself have you seen and heard J Hope’s “Arson”?) As someone who doesn’t understand Korean and whose English is a second language I found Korean rap has to be appreciated in several rounds. Even English raps sometimes. I can see your appreciation for the English parts because they are immediate, while the Korean ones can’t be appreciated beyond the flow and cadence until the Korean translations aren’t only read quickly but also understood contractually with the assistance of cultural and BTS history contextual notes by very good translators (not all of them are good because just translating the words aren’t enough). I wanted to say 'great reaction' but the ending ruined it for me. I feel like you guys didn't like the 4th cypher because it wasn't as quick or fast-paced as the other 3 cyphers. That's usually how reactors respond and I'm tired of it honestly. Fast rapping does not automatically mean best or better than slow-paced raps and slower rapping does not necessarily mean bad or worse than fast rapping . If you don't like the 4th one, fair enough, but I won't take y'all calling it trash because that's simply not true and it's disrespectful, with all due respect. You can have an opinion, sure, but don't be disrespectful especially towards the BTS boys bc I will defend them each and every time. Also, you guys barely paused during the reaction so I'm wondering how much of the lyrics you actually looked at and caught on to. Maybe it's not important to you but lyrics matter too to me, not just flow and speed of rapping. I love the 4th Cypher because there is a laid-back attitude to it and they show that they have nothing to prove to the haters (like y'all). It shows versatility in my opinion. None of their cyphers sound the same and to me, that's admirable: to make every cypher sound different. Each rapper in BTS has their own style of rapping and they're all insanely talented so I can't pick a favourite.
