It's literally impossible to watch that performance and not make the stank face at least once. Yoongi did Cypher 3 + 4 at his live show and the crowd went bananas. I can only imagine how hyped the audience felt getting to see this!

Cypher4 is the most hype live. The whole audience loses it screaming the chorus it’s damn empowering to hear an arena or stadium scream “I love myself”. RM and Jhope are laid back above dissing haters but Suga didn’t really get that memo and had more fire to vent 😂 The medley is insane im sad I’ve never seen it live.

Yea, having the chorus say " I love myself" was a fantastic play. Just knowing they picked those words to reflect themselves, but also keeping in mind what listeners would be singing as well. 2 birds 1 stone type deal. lol Suga didn't get the memo

BTS has changed my life. I begin each day with "Not Today", my fight song, my courage to do another day. The Cypher Medley goes crazy, when the crowd is yelling "I love myself", it hits my soul and I feel at one with all my fellow Armys.

Also, the 2 birds 1 stone method when writing it as they're putting themselves into these lyrics, yet also thinking about what everyone will be screaming during a performance and wanting them to feel those words as well. 👏👏👏

We know what you mean, Jhope is our King of Performance! That mans stage presence is truly in insane. I absolutely love this live performance and watching the rapline. They have such a unique energy, and like you said they all bring their own, different vibe when rapping, etc.... All together, I think the combination is incredible and that they just feed off of one another💜💜💜

I have Seen your réaction to RM during these cypher. You should really react to him begining with is first mixtape RM. If you react at RM song JOKE it will be really mindblowing. There is a reason why RM is one of the best rappers in Korea and one of the best lyriciss . His word play and his flow is top notch. He was a underground rapper that people were afraid of battle with before BTS and it show.

20:00 I feel you I only got into BTS a little over a year ago after sleeping on them for years and they completely blew me away. Specially as a hip-hophead I had no idea they could rap like that. They're just pure talent all 7 of them. They do it all and they're definitely the most versatile artists I've ever seen there's no group like them and there never will be. They're also some of the most humble and genuine artists in the industry and the connection they have with Army is just something else. I always hear people say they've attended so many concerts over the years including legendary artists like The Beatles and they have BTS as their best concert ever. I'm so glad I decided to give them a chance even though I wish I'd done that earlier but it's true that BTS find you when you need them the most. They've already become a huge part of my life. I can't wait till they get back together in 2025 and I hope I get to attend one of their concerts one day.

And we have to remember that this is not a hip hop concert performed in front of hip hop fans. This was part of the BTS Wings tour in 2017. That means that this crowd is predominantly female and most of the people here are not necessarily fans of non BTS hip hop.

What I love so much about CYPHER Pt.4 is how much of what they are saying reflects in their delivery and cadence. RM's "You should change the pattern of condemning me bae, It’s making me bored, boring bae" with the bored way he reads their complaints and then says "sorry bae" in that tone. j-hope's "Click. I'm a cat and you're all mice" with him playfully insulting them in his verse just a like a cat will play with its prey. SUGA's "Click clack to the bang bang, click clack to the pow" with his cheeky, mocking tone towards empty vessels that make the most noise. I love them sm.

I only started listening to BTS because my daughter was into them and now I’m 5 years ARMY. A big draw for me was the combo of rap and amazing vocals. Seeing them live in concert was one of the best experiences I’ve had, definitely the best concert I’ve been to. And I’ve been to everyone from Dave Matthew’s to linkin park to Daughtry, Metallica and Eminem. What made BTS stand out for me is that the energy they start with is the same they carry for the full 2.5-3hrs, no opening act or anything. On top of that hearing 70,000 army singing along with the lights of the army bombs and the amazing positive energy. Add to that the lyrics and bTS as people, the way they carry themselves and the way they allow themselves to be vulnerable to Army…. incredible, positive, motivating …definitely worth the hunger games to get tickets and the 2 hrs it took to get out of the parking lot after the show😂💜💜💜

the Cypher series is one of my favorite ever! i love all the Cyphers coz you’ll see their growth, & their diff POVs throughout the years. Cypher pt. 4 has been my ringtone since i became ARMY back in 2021! the Cypher Medley is the one that i really want to see live coz the energy is just out of this world, but i dont think they’ll perform it again. 😔 but even watching the video makes me feel like i’m there..

💜So many unforgettable bars and delivery styles to emphasize their points. I don't know one that does always standout to me for some reason is when Suga raps that he overspends on pens that outnumber the haters' number of fans. Lol. And most definitely these are not aimed at writers and rappers like yourself who obviously put time and effort into lyrics of substance. They don't diss all rappers. They are fans of so many (think back to hip-hop phile where they paid homage to many of their early influences) plus they collab with epic hip hop artists... some well known and others from near obscurity. They appreciate artistry. And the Cyphers really were them finally getting to vent their frustration at all the baseless attacking that came from rappers back then, really aimed at them out of ignorance and jealousy. It was relentless. They still get tons of hate, still based in ignorance and jealousy, but they do a better job of ignoring and letting it roll off. Thankfully we got to see the process they went through to get there and have these awesome Cyphers as a result. Have a great weekend. Peace and love. ✌🫰💜

Love this, totally agree, and I just wanted to add that if you're putting your heart into your work, if you're trying to find words to say something real, you could have the clumsiest rap ever and these guys would cheer you on. I'm absolutely 100% certain of that. As long as you're sincere and not spreading senseless hate, they're on your side. The hate is reserved for people who deserve it 😊

I love the cyphers and think the rap line is the best in any industry. If you know the underground rappers who dissed them for becoming Idols, you can decipher who they were talking about and talking to. I agree, Suga was born to rap coming straight at you like a shark. Namjoon aka RM is the poet, the one who uses words by creatively playing on their various meanings. So clever in his rapping prose. J-Hope amazes me because he had to learn to rap from Joon and Suga and developed his own unique style that’s playful and lives up to his name Hope though that doesn’t mean he can’t clap back at the haters. I hope we get more cyphers when they have a comeback.

If you really want to appreciate Jhopes energy I highly recommend that you react to Lollapalooza aka Hobipalooza. I drove 7 hours one way and stood in one spot for 8 hours just to watch him perform. It was epic and an experience I will never forget! Then did it again a year later for Agust D's D-DAY concert. Both were profound experiences!

BTS made me like rap and a whole bunch of other music genres I'd never even heard of. I really can't wait to see what chapter 2 brings us as all the guys finish their military service and come back together. The journey through their solo projects has been wild and so much better than I ever could have imagined. I am so happy I found BTS, and I love watching other people find them too.

BTS came to me when I needed them, as they tend to do, the year i knew my daughter would likely see another Christmas. I saw them on the AMAs that 2017 spring and I was blown away! I became ARMY, finding comfort along the way, they were on BBMAs that fall, so by the time my heart was torn from me in November, I was blessed to already be full ARMY. Can't imagine going through that time without them to distract me. JK immediately was my bias (that VOICE!!!) And Jhope won the 3 way battle to be my ult wrecker, but of course i adore all them! What a perfect storm that brought all of these talented men to one group!!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 I would love to see you check out Jhope's "More" and then "Arson" - he had Armies all over the world falling out of their chairs!

Love this! This video is one of my favorites. BTS is known for their live shows. The synergy between them and their audience is amazing and something you never forget. Take a look at their video Outre Tear Live at Wembley. It"s the rap line RM, Suga, and JHope rapping about the time they almost disbanded. It's a very emotional performance. I cried the first time I saw it. I am 70 years young and because of BTS, rap is one of my favorite genres. There are other senior ARMYs that also love BTS rap, some older than myself. 😀

I"m not sure if anyone's suggested this before...but I can see the way BTS has solidly gotten under your skin now (like all of us). I know you've watched Taylor's guide, but might I also suggest The Rise of Bangtan series that goes more in-depth into their history, some of their early struggles, come-up + info re: the idol industry and Korean culture...it's all still fan (Army) made but the Army who put it together is literally a professional editor and it's one of the best docu-series I've seen about BTS including the ones they've commissioned themselves. There are 21 chapters with most chapters also having deleted & bonus clips (that are also must watches).
