the "balls" are light sticks and most kpop groups have them (all of them look different btw). Ours are called ARMY bombs and they are able to connect to the lighting through bluetooth. The first few versions of the ARMY bomb didn't have a bluetooth option but ARMYs had a lot of projects where they brought colored bags to stick over their light sticks and create a "purple ocean" or "rainbow ocean" for the boys; we would even use them to spell things in the stadium like "ARMY

I was at the concert when they first did the colored bags 🥺My section which was the pit(front stage) was purple. I didnt have an army bomb so I turned my phone flashlight on and put it in the bag. It was honestly SO breathe taking to see the crowd turn rainbow!!! God bless the girls who walked around when everyone was in line and handed each section a different color bag.

I LIVE for Jimin's growls during their live performances! 💜 Lol, the newer ARMY bombs have bluetooth. You can enter your seat number and then they'll sync into a lightshow ocean. I'm Dynamite ARMY so haven't actually experienced it myself but I have my ARMY bomb ready!

Once you see them in an actual concert, it will change you and it will confirm why they're the biggest boy band now. 😅 and it's not just because of the choreo, or the songs, or the effects or the crowd but everything. Like literal goosebumps because the whole crowd feels like a festival or a celebration where every1 seems to be close including the boys 😅 and yes there are families too so the diversity in the audience can actually be shocking and it slightly resembles a praise church 😅 we usually go to concerts to hear the music and see the artist but in a bts concert, every1 wants to experience the moment. I'm usually like that over coldplay and U2, the only difference is the crowd isn't as engaging (but that's normal). Anyhow once all this covid sh*t goes away, I need to see them again. I miss freaking Seoul!

That concert was in October 2019.. It was effin* cold.. 🤣 Me who came from a tropical country was really not that ready.. and it's an open stadium.. all of us in our long padded coats.. and they even provided us with scarfs which is now one of the expensive merch from them cause it's a limited edition collab with FILA.. still one of the best nights of my life.. 💜

The newest version of the ARMY Bombs(the balls) have Bluetooth so you can connect to the concert and then they are controlled by the staff. It’s so cool because they can spell things out or shape things, like a heart for example.

The very first Army bombs (the round light things) were just white. Armys would plan secret events for concerts, handing out cellophane of a certain color to people to make words, rainbows, etc. Then they came out with bluetooth Army bombs, which let them control the colors and when they flash and stuff. It's really cool!

You're definitely on point. The reason why they're so popular is because you can find all genre and everything you're looking for in them. They do almost everything so it's impossible not to like them. Let's be honest, the haters are just those who don't know about them, what they do, what they sing, what their lyrics are, what BTS is really, yet claim that they hate them as if they know them. If you know them and what they do (without prejudice), you'll definitely like them.

Ive been blessed to have seen them 3 times and the first being in 2015 in NYC in a tiny ass stage! And all times ive been in the pit close to the stage 😭 THEY ARE SO HYPE LIVE

I believe what is fancy or formal varies around the globe. For me what they are wearing is a casual style for a night out after work. Suits are depends on the style, it can be just school uniform (in my school it's a black suit with a white shirt). I am always surprised how Americans talk about tertlenecks and jackets, like it's something which almost nobody can pull off.

I am glad to see that many comments already told you that balls you called were “Army bombs” 🤣 and they were linked up with bluetooth at the stadium. We were at BTS concert in 2019, it was amazingly craziest concert we have ever been to. You should try to go next time they have one (hopefully next year).... warning though - getting the concert ticket is like a hunger game!

A great live set is Come Back Home/No More Dream/Mic Drop. High energy and really shows off their hip hop bona fides. As to light sticks, most K pop groups want their fans to use them. BTS in their concerts will synchronize ARMY Bombs to create amazing multicolored audience shows which accompany the group's performance. K Pop very much embraces the visual along with the auditory and distinctive light sticks are integral to many act's performances. This is great in solo concerts but fans of groups including ARMY's can get overly aggressive with light sticks in multigroup performances such as award shows. Rather than lighting up a celebration of music they instead exact a pejorative by turning their sticks off causing what is called a black ocean. Artists in smaller groups or not from stick wielding fandoms must then try to live perform knowing they are being publicly dissed by the fans of larger players. Some award shows actually have banned light sticks to mitigate the negativity of fans who are so obsessed with their favorite group's elevation that they have used black ocean techniques as a weapon against other acts.

Although these concerts happened in August, they were not performed in an indoor "room" - they were on stages and "thrust stage" runways set up on the field in Seoul Olympic Stadium, an outdoor arena without a roof dome. The video for Life Goes On has a long shot of it, as V drives by. The stadium has a capacity of almost 70,000 people. Jimin has a natural tenor voice. It always annoys me when American men identify him as having a high voice hahaha. They always laugh about it like that. A little hahaha giggle. But here he is in Bapsae (Silver Spoon) and Run, live, singing in a standard tenor voice, and you guys completely ignore it. This is confirmation bias. You take a particular style he uses on stage, and you paste it over him like a generic label, instead of looking at the reality, which is way more interesting and complicated. And by the way, he is the best athlete on that stage. Thanks for displaying so much silliness, reminding me why I stopped following.

Why are you guy even talking about the virus the virus wasn't even born at that time, this concert is years ago it's not à 2021 concert and south korea wasn't as badly hit by covid as many other countries that had it the worst anyways i just want to go to their concert in Séoul they give the Best performances in Séoul and as a french Army i'm jealous of korean and japanese army hope the situation gestion better all around the world so they give us another big concert tour we are waiting for 😍
