Jimin sings on his own, he doesn't try to imitate the original singer, he convey his own emotion and try to bring something new. He even does that with his own songs. He is the type of vocalist that touchs your soul deeply with a new singing every song. His is singing is beautiful. You should listen to his solo songs (Lie, Serendipity, Promise, Christmas Love and Filter) each song is unique because his voice is unique. His voice is a gift.

I agree with you, Jimin has something in his voice that makes him special, I became a BTS fan because of him, his voice is special that I have no words to explain it but when he sings I am simply captivated and I can feel those feelings that he tries to convey , really his voice is incredible, I just finished reading how a Japanese classical opera singer explained that Jimin's voice is unique that he can only produce, even if you search around the world you will not find another like it, I am proud of how several magazines, people and professionals are praising Jimin's wonderful voice in this performance 👏🥺

Not only unique, there's something about how he expresses emotions when singing. Two opera singers reviewed his MTV performance and said the same thing more or less. Forbes, Variety, and Consequence of Sound also did their review of BTS performance here in MTV and all of them mentioned Jimin as one of stand outs, especially Forbes which described Jimin's singing as dazzling aching falsetto in B&G.
