You should react to their so called misogynistic song WAR OF HORMONE. BTS were always encouraged to write from the heart so when you have 7 young men who are aged between 16 and 21 of course they are going to sing about boyfriends/girlfriends/raging hormones etc etc. You will laugh when you watch it, it is so innocent! I want to see your reaction!💜

You are dead right. I can’t believe how anyone could get worked up about War of Hormone. Anyone who ever met a teenage boy would just laugh about how accurate it is. It’s a song that describes the chaos and absurdity of teenage feelings about sex/love.

@@debsuk8249 exactly. Me too, but RM is so respectful he won’t even take the chance of doing something that would be disrespectful in future songs. Not that I think he ever would. I agree with anyone who recommended the more updated version of this for sure- there is way, way, waaay more. And even then, it doesn't cover everything. It's unfathomable the amount of hostility these boys get- like this all started while they were literal children. They've had to deal with this the entire time they've grown up. Also, I think you misunderstood about Yoongi revealing he had been suffering from depression since predebut. He has talked about his depression, social anxiety and ocd on multiple occasions now and tries to help other people going through hard times with his words and music. While I'm sure them getting constantly bullied didn't help at all, it wasn't situational depression but rather clinical depression you live with your whole life. His honesty about it has helped countless people, myself included and he really gives the most comforting advice.

Good reaction. One of the major reasons I think they received so much hate and still do is because they had the audacity to go up against the big Three entertainment giants that ruled the entertainment world. These companies spent lots of money honing and turning their idols into the manufactured groups they were and then along comes BTS from a nobody broke company and bested them at their own game. The other groups were favored by the media and got so much press coverage, it was a foregone conclusion that they would continue to win at these award shows. BTS continues to slay because of their talent, hardwork, love of Armys and being humble oh and they really really love to make music. And the best part is “they did it their way”. The fans of other group were so nasty and rude to BTS when they won, it really makes you dislike them, but you move on because BTS moved on without a hitch in their step and they still continue to rise. Here last year there was so much hatred sent to them because they had #1s for so many weeks, the hiarchy said unabashedly that when BTS gets #1on the chart they will actually count it as #2 because BTS’s fan base according to them was manipulating the charts🤷🏾♀️. Crazy huh? So the boys still face unbelievable hatred and most of it from people who have never heard them , seen them or anything..then there are folks from other fandoms who are just downright jealous and hateful. I’ve read some comments that would make your hair stand on end. But what they fail to think is the more they hate BTS the more real people love them and their music. Ali Potter made an excellent point about War on hormones. I could go on but I will stop here. If I’ve gotten facts wrong someone will correct them. Once again great reaction.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Alright, I’ve just read through all the comments - I think it’s important to note the ’49 days’ that Tae talks about after his Grandmother died. This was really significant for him. On the 49th day after death in the Buddhist religion, a soul leaves the earthly plane for the spritiual one. I think what Tae was saying was that this was the last gift from his Grandmother before her spirit left. It also would have been heartbreaking for him as he wouldn’t have been able to attend the ritual ceremony.

Thank you for your reaction. Yes ARMY and BTS always win in the end as you can see from how big they are now. All the haters did was bring more attention to these amazing 7 men and their love of music. There are loads of videos out their showing Karma coming back to bite these people is the ass. With titles like BTS karma is an ARMY. BTS will always have ARMY behind them just as we will always have BTS behind us. Every year for each members Birthday there are lots of ARMY’s that have got together and done something wonderful to help others, the planet in that members name. I’m 57 and proudly tell anyone that I’m a member of the ARMY and follow such an amazing group 💜

I became an army in 2016 when I witnessed for myself how BTS is still being unfairly treated, even now the antis are still looking for loopholes to corner BTS, and this is the reason we ARMYs are very sensitive and take care of them, especially other people. or whatever it is that is currently trying to take advantage of BTS.

My son and I talk about the similarities between how Tom McDonald does things and how BTS does things all the time!!! (He's a giant Tom fan, and I'm a giant BTS fan, lol) My son has grown to respect BTS because of this alone. I agree - it's pure playground bullying from jealousy and nothing else. My stance on antis and haters is that it's best not to give them any attention...ignore them and go on. And don't get me started on the misogyny thing....That was about War of Hormone (their song), and if anyone bothered to actually look at the lyrics they would know that the song is in no way misogynistic....at all. I'm 61...I grew up with the Girl Power era and the sexual revolution. It's exactly what the title says. There is nothing wrong with that song's lyrics. I adore that song and MV.
@AliceBunny05 Жыл бұрын
this is probably the most offensive comparison ever. tom mcdonald literally has a song all about complaining about anti-racist movements and groups because he doesn't want to own that being white comes with the territory of being taught racism implicitly (coming from a person who blends in with printer paper myself). BTS is a major donater to BLM. Perhaps the only similarity is that neither of them really let people who disagree with them end their careers, but for one of these parties the message they have to send really isn't one that needs to be widespread.

Just started this so I may add to this comment as I go. With regards to the radio show, because rm & suga were underground rappers prior to BTS, they were being interviewed by other underground rappers. It was 1 of the other underground rappers, B Free, who called them girls & told them that because they left the underground to become "idols" they weren't rly rapping. That guy eventually gave a half assed apology that I think everyone including BTS themselves ignored , and b free, he ended up going to jail so BTS def had the last laugh with that 1. Also, side note, ofc no one should be judged for wearing makeup etc if that's their choice (plus, every single person who goes on TV has makeup done, because cameras, lights etc can do weird things to people if they don't) but as a woman, I'm tired of people saying such & such makes you "like a girl" like it's an insult. And I'm tired of people assigning a gender to objects (well and even people esp since there are more than 2 genders) like, skirts, makeup, the colors pink & blue, etc. Let people wear what they want to wear you know? Oh, & my little rant there wasn't caused by anything you said btw, it was just something that's been bugging me in general lately lol. Thought I should clarify so you didn't think I was yelling at or about you 🙂 American hustle life was a reality show they made in America. There are 8 episodes on KZbin. It is cringy & painful to watch in parts, Coolio was hard on them and 1 of their tutors was rude and a complete dick but they kicked him off the show pretty quickly. You're perfect isn't a song, ARMYs just started the hashtag j hope you're perfect to let him know we loved him and give him some comfort. You have to remember, BTS were doing average in album sales etc back then, they weren't loved by everyone back then , especially in Korea. The fans of bigger groups rly tried to sabotage them. Big hit didn't have money or influence so they couldn't get their name out there as much as other groups. BTS began getting fame overseas. Internationally people loved them but in Korea people (as a whole I mean) couldn't believe nor understand how they were getting attention, winning awards etc. Ofc they had different problems in the west. Racism, xenophobia, sexism etc. (they wear makeup, sometimes crazy clothes and colors that men in the west wouldn't wear, and male idols are more effeminate/androgynous than men typically are outside of Asia, there are different standards of beauty over there) Hope that made sense 💜 The misogyny was so minor that anyone from the US or England who read the lyrics just laugh. Compared to our rappers especially, it's so minor it's just silly. Now Korea is a much more conservative country but i don't think it was Asian fans who had the issue. I've seen some really good translations of war of hormone, and when it's translated properly it's rly rly not that bad, but it's not that bad no matter the translation. Besides, they were all teens when they wrote it. You were once a teenage boy lol, think back to your teens and the stuff you thought about lol. They just tried to put those feelings into that song. I will say though, as a woman, bts' response to the news that people thought they were misogynists warmed my heart and I wish other artists would be so thoughtful, instead of just saying "bitches need to stop being so sensitive" rm now takes the time to educate himself about women's issues, & gets his lyrics evaluated by professors of women studies. That's classy AF. Ok last thing lol BTS wouldn't want us to waste hate on these antis. Much like they talk about in their song Ugh! You should watch the live version that has lyrics, then watch the ugh! Explained by a Korean. It explains why they don't like wasting the rage emotion. 💜

One thing ppl can’t get on the both sides is: An idol rapper IS NOT a real rapper, they’re just there and practiced for fill a position and that isn’t bad but they aren’t rappers, BTS rap line on the other side are rappers that practiced for being idols. A rapper do his own music not just talk what other ppl write (:

If he fails to be exempted from military service, he will join the military from Jin in January next year. The results of the military service benefits must be released by June 30. In the end, it is impossible to combine seven people, and if seven people join the military in order, the group activities as a whole become indefinitely uncertain. It would be nice if ARMY around the world asked the Korean government for military service exemption.

There will always be trash about BTS, but the thing that makes ARMYs look bad is when people claiming to be ARMYs get down in the gutter with the haters and trash other groups or curse out the people talking about us/BTS. It’s embarrassing not just to actual ARMYs, but the boys as well…they would never be ok with giving back as good as they get (unless its a kick ass clapback song lol). It’s like they’ve learned nothing from following these guys they claim to love/represent. They’ve taught us to take the high road always, even if it’s difficult (and in my 7 years of being an ARMY, it HAS been difficult).🥹💜. Karma’s a b*tch and their records and attitudes speak for themselves. 😌💅🏼

The plagiarism accusations make me laugh. It's so stupid. Hair colours, photoshoot concepts, staging, and the schoolboy theme. Like plagiarism is taking someone's original (Keyword: ORIGINAL) Work and claiming it as your own. 1. BTS never claimed it as their own original idea as far as i know. 2. Any groups/artists that accused them of plagiarism technically by their logic are doing the same thing because said concepts aren't their original idea either. Lmao. It's so baseless. Same with the misogyny thing. It was caused by a translation error. But regardless I have so much respect for BTS and how they rose above everything they went through and everyone that tried to bring them down.
