The fact that RM replaced the line in original lyrics "give anything to hear half your breath" to "give anything to see half your face" where half the face signifies that half of our face is covered with masks 🥺 lyrical genius indeed. This cover was absolutely amazing they all ate it up! The way they retained the originality of the song while making it their own, i love it so much!💜

I grew up in the 90s. This song is Epic & Timeless! If you have lost someone & you hear this song...So many emotions. I'm in tears, but in a good way. Rap line & vocal line are in sync. I'm in the UK. They killed this performance. In the introduction when Adele Roberts asked why they chose the song RM said it was a tribute to the rapper Biggie but then said "we wanted to say we miss Armys ..... it’s a message to all the Armys all over the world". I had tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat and I've missed hearing BTS Singing and rapping in Korean. 😢💜💜💜

Is it just me or has Jimin's voice gotten even better lately? Im not even saying that because he is my bias. His voice seems to be stronger. I'd love to hear what Puffy and Faith thought of it. I Primarily Faith Evan's since Jimin nailed her part. I read that Sting liked BTS' version. I like how they added Korean. They did the opposite than what they normally do. Korean with a little English. Now that its an English song they threw in a little Korean for your average American/non Army's. They are giving the world a peek into their style of music. I think it's great.

It's not just you. Jimin isn't my bias(Taehyung's my ult bias, but I love them all and get bias wrecked by the other guys on a daily basis!) And I've noticed his voice is just getting better and better! I absolutely love his voice in Butter, it's so beautiful as always, but even more refined now!😊

Jungkook's vocals are so good, I feel like he stood out a lot with singing in his lower register, creating a contrast to the other members. Jungkook knows precisely how to sing for it to sound amazing and well put together, while still conveying emotions. As the main vocalist Jungkook ties together all of their voices, he is the glue, the root, the pillar who holds it all together - not only on this cover but on all of BTS own songs. It's fascinating to me how he talked about how he made sure to make his voice flow through Life Goes On. He basically builds up their songs with vocal layering in the background, his voice is the main instrument. After reading Jungkook's weverse magazine interview I have even more respect for him as an artist and human being.

The first live concert I went to was The Police (Sting) so “every breath you take” has always had a special place in my heart, the B.I.G tribute was also amazing so they had a lot to live up to. The full session on BBC radio includes RM referencing the previous artists so this was so special and so respectful. The BTS version was really incredible. RM also mentioned that he loved the painter Turner and his favourite place in London was the National Gallery where he could go and see the Turner collection. As always he was incredibly well spoken.

I think I know what you mean Jose....that the performance comes out naturally. I guess because they performed it with all their hearts out...and listen carefully how well arranged all the vocal lines adlibs/verses. You knew they are on different tones. And of course a great surprise from SOPE's Korean Rap which they wrote with such beautiful lyrics. With this performance I really felt how BTS is conveying this to the world and telling ARMYs how they miss us. It's beautiful...another iconic performance from our boys, respectively. Jose, I had the same reaction!! They absolutely nailed this song cover and I cried. I'm an early 90's baby, so this song brings me back memories and it is such a beautiful song, so I'm glad BTS covered it. Vimin and Jinkook harmonies melted my heart and I loved the twist of Yoongi and J-hope rapping in Korean. I love it when they do things their own way, you know, just their own personal touch. They continue to amaze me time and time again. And I definitely agree, they sang this song effortlessly! A job well done.

They did a great job! Jin and Jimin with the falsetto throughout the song and V in parts. V and JK for the lower register and RM Suga and Hobi for the rap parts. How hard they practice to hit those notes while practicing the enunciation of the words. Their English is getting better but to practice the enunciation to get that right and singing it in a higher register is difficult. 💜💜💜💜 Great job BTS 👏🏾Thank you for picking this song to cover.

I heard Jose, they sang this song for ARMY becuz they miss us so much, it's beautiful ❤️ yet sad because we miss them so very much too. I hope and pray this virus disappears so they can tour again. It will be bitter sweet for the first concert stop they make, lots of crying from them and us.

UGH JIMINS VOICE IS EVERYTHING! That mans voice is a gem💎Like Jimin has the most unique vocal color and range. He has such a beautiful and quite distinct vocal timbre. His pretty vocals add a new layer of flavour to every song and he can pull off any type of style or genre. Jimin is one of the finest vocalists in the music industry. That man is just in insane vocalist. One of a kind. I could listen to him all day. His voice just heals me and gives me sm comfort. No artist ever made me cry until I got into BTS and heard Jimin’s voice. Like how can someone sing like that? Overall they all sounded and looked amazing
