You can definitely tell she's ARMY! This is one of my favorite BTS interviews. Notice how she didn't once ask then who they wanna collab with or when they are coming out with an all English album? Lol they hate those questions. They've heard them 1,086,096 times! You could also tell that she & V (her bias) were vibing. So cute. L💜

To answer your question about what was funny during Jungkook's part. I think its partly related to why many of us think this is a great interview. Even when they get thoughtful questions in other ones, they are not usually toward the vocal line. And in general, the maknaes don't tend to speak up. So her singling out each member to ask a question specific to them is awesome. That being said, the maknaes were not as used to answering these types of questions, and that tripped them all up a bit. You can here the pauses and slight stuttering as they try and think of what they want to say. Not a bad thing, but cute and amusing. Jimin you can tell he was relieved and laughing after his response since she called it class. Tae was clearly shy after she gave so many compliments. And Jungkook, I think kinda got lost in what he was saying. Seemed like he didn't know how to end it so, he had that big pause in the middle of a sentence and looked up. That's when the others laughed. It's kind of hard to pick these things up when you mostly focus on the translated subtitles. They don't show the pauses, when they stutter and stumble over words, or use the wrong ones. The subtitles often give you what they mean to say. I'm not fluent in Korean, but body language, hearing how it sounds like they repeat a word, and because they've all talked about each others speaking habits. That's how I pick up on this. Of course, there's possibly inside jokes and stories as well. I think the flirting is probably one. The others laughing is because I think they find it cute and amusing. Especially since its a foreign interviewer who probably isn't picking up on the nuances.

She was a VERY good interviewer. Like you said, you could tell she did her homework and she asked great questions but threw in comments here and there that kept it light (eg. commenting on JK's hair.)

I really liked this interview! She was so professional and asked important questions. Didn't act immature or asked baseless questions. Didn't make BTS feel uncomfortable or awkward. I'm sure BTS appreciated her professionalism. I agree with Nico about BTS knowing what kind of questions will be asked so they have the option to decline the interview. TBH, I think they should reject any further foolish Western interviewers. Only respectful ARMY's should interview BTS, starting with WG2S. I'm sure BTS will feel like family with Nico, Blaze, and AJJ interviewing them 💜

The translation is a little off on V's part. I'm pretty sure he said something along the lines of "My teacher used to scold me for the way I sing because it sounded like I have food in my mouth" and that's why the boys laughed lol. Also 15:58 is probably when her questions were being translated to them that's why there's an awkward silence.

This interview was great! I remember loving it so much, especially bc they barely were asked good questions in the butter era so these ones felt really refreshing and well thought. Also, the guys look really comfortable and gave us some iconic clips! and even a couple kind of flirty moments lol

I remember Twitter was all over the place with this interview (mostly good!) with how surprisingly pleased we all were for such thought provoking questions. Things that were personal, but not invasive. I did hear some theories that they were [a] super exhausted (you'll see that same backdrop in a few other interviews, iirc, where they did a few that same day... so answering the same "What does Butter mean/about/concept" question[s] and [b] that they also had to wait for the translator to both tell her what they were saying and tell them what she was saying - hence some moments of the shrug as they waited for the translation (as a possibility!) [c] of course there was something INSIDE going on, but I don't think anyone ever found out what inside joke was going on ^^; (Oh I know at one point JK was actually stuttering over his words, that wasn't conveyed in the subs, so there were some giggles as he tried to get his answer straight.) I forgot I never did look to see if there was more to what Jin said in his first answer, because I know sometimes what's said in one language compared to another isn't always the same amount of words, but I feel like he said so much MORE than what was translated. Just in terms of volume/amount. They're expressions... I MISS THEM

She was preparing really hard for several monthes. She talked about it. She had started with the list of around 150 questions and through a long process came up with 7- one for every member. She also asked them from the oldest to the youngest.

You are right, we should never lose sight of the example that BTS sets for us in always trying to be the best of us. What a brilliant interview! Great, insightful questions from Sakshma but also intelligent, thoughtful answers from the guys. Love how JK was so obviously proud of Jin's reply to her question. Love how she prepared a question specific to each member; it gave each of them their time in the spotlight and gave us the chance to see how well they each think and express themselves. Sakshma now joins Zach Sang, Jimmy Fallon and Liam McEwan as the best interviewers of BTS. I think BTS have already started to choose which interviewers they interact with - RM only talked to Zach Sang when he released Indigo, for example. For me, it is such a pleasure to watch when the interviewer is so positively engaged with our guys and have done their homework beforehand. Respect and professionalism on both sides.

i think this is possibly the best BTS interview of all time. i am so caught off guard by presidential, english-speaking namjoon too, which is odd because i remember being extremely used to his vibe around 2017-2021. this is like seeing 2015-2016 BTS in 2018, not exactly baby BTS but still different enough to make you notice

Whenever I watch their interviews have to focus on the one speaking cos the minute you look at the other 6, you'll spot some foolishness going on and laugh. V gets flustered and JK starts talking then loses his track of thought mid-sentence, Hobie always waits for these moments to laugh at them.

I think the inside joke was clearly that, first of all, the questions were very intellectual and it threw them. Celebrities normally give back-to-back interviews, and considering the others interviews would have been pretty standard and superficial, this would have been a little intimidating. So, they were probably laughing because they were taken aback and nervous. That's why some members were stuttering. And then secondly, ofc, Sakshma is beautiful. Post the BTS interview, she invited all the other famous Kpop groups to her show and most male Kpop idols who've interviewed with her end up flirting. She asked EXO's Kai where he'd go if he had the power to teleport (it's his EXO superpower), and he pointed at her and said 'there, to you.' (and mind you, this is very bold for a K-pop idol.) I often wonder what conversation took place in the BTS groupchat after this interview 😂 Some people say certain idols have slid into Sakshma's DMs.

I want HYBE to permanently hire Sakshuma in charge of PR for BTS' public relations and image. BTS has never been in more need of allies than now, with Yoongi as the most recent example of BTS hardships. I need Sakshuma's big guts and authenticity to do some serious damage to the haters who can't handle big heart and honest hard work. I get it-- all of us including newspapers, blogs and chatrooms, and social media platforms need to make money to put food on the table. Apart from the funny and entertaining jokes and flirting, this is the only interview I have seen WELL DONE, with the boys, with serious questions, about music, feelings, work.She asked in order of the children's ages, highlighting their abilities and their roles in the group, and was friendly without being crude, respectful, and very professional, he didn't ask them awkward and stupid questions, like they always did, and I think that surprised them, but they liked it a lot, That's why I take my hat off to value and thank this girl for the interview she did. 🫶🏽
