BTS has their in house choreographer its Mr. Son Sung Deok, he also received an award from last MMA or MAMA i think for being best choreographer. Some of their choreo comes from other dancers like from dynamite and save me. JHope also contributes to their choreography.

There's only one in this world that blew my mind and that is Michael Jackson but when I first saw hobi 3 yrs ago back then I didn't know BTS and was never a fan of kpop. But Hobi made me look them up and made me stan BTS. I see a lot of MJ in him that's why he's my bias. He blew me away like MJ did. Made me sad that he is underrated member of the group because he is the reason why I'm an Army in the first place.

I think Hobi gets slept on because he makes dance look so easy that he gets overlooked as a top dancer in the game. For him, he IS dance and he can learn steps that take others hours and days in mere minutes. For me, as a Jimin stan, my eyes go to him first, but Hobi has a way of being like, "nah, B. Look at ME!" Lol. And you HAVE to cuz there's just something about our Mr. Sunshine that's so very compelling. I swear, as great as it is watching him dance in these compilations, watching him EXPLODE on stage live is life-altering. He was made to do EXACTLY what he does and you can't help but feel it when you see him for yourself. I miss seeing them live 😭😭😭.

One of the things I love about the dance line is how their expressions are a bit different from each other but they come together so perfectly. J Hope has that street swagger from his days in a dance crew. Jimin has the grace, elegance and flow of his classic training. Jungkook has that masculine, western interpretation that comes from his dance training in LA. They are always a joy to watch, be it separately or together.

J-hope is a very talented dancer. Not all dancers can do any dance style and J-hope is an example of an exceptional performer. He can slay every style perfectly. For years, he's proven to people how wide his knowledge and understanding to music. He works hard on his own to keep getting better everytime. The company's main in-house Performance Director & Choreographer that work very closely with BTS is Mr. Son Sung Deuk. He is AWESOME!! You can see him in some of their dance practices. And J-Hope being a professional freestyle street dancer for 10 years before joining BTS, he sometimes does give his 2-cents worth on making some changes or adding some of his own choreography for the group. They have also worked with 'The Lab' from L.A on their dance choreography for their songs 'ON' and 'Dionysus'. The choreography for these 2 songs were done by a 19 year-old girl called Sienna Lalau. Jimin is my bias but I love Hobi! Him, Kookie and Jimin are all great dancers but each have their own style. Hobi has most of the swag. Love dancers dance with their facial expression and power- Hobi definitely is doing that. His dance is so powerful and manly that I forgot his other side - easy to get scared of little things XDDDD He also gives us the best smiles all the time. Love him!

so BTS and TXT have a choreographer named Son Sung Deuk. sometimes other choreographers choreograph their dances though. for their ON choreo, Sienna Lalau who's only 19 choreographed it. for Jimin's Filter performance, Nicky Andersen was the choreographer (fun fact: he took part in choreographing the dance for Disney's Aladdin). but BTS also sometimes choreograph their own dances if they have a solo stage, or give ideas to make the group choreo better. and about hobi...he is just suchh a natural dancer like this man can literally dance to ANYTHING and his freestyles??? perfection. he DESERVES the title 'dance leader'💜

I love the boys but ngl my eyes are on Hobi whenever they perform. I learned from a lot of people who had been to the concert, when you leave it’s either Hobi is your bias or becomes bias wrecker. I haven’t been to the concert and I already know he’s going to be my bias and my bias wrecker. LOL

Their Perfotrmance Director, Choreagrapher Director, former sungsunnim (teacher) Mr Son Sungdeuk is responsible for almost all the early BTS Choreos and also for most of the fav ones and most difficult move. He is the one who made them practice and practice until they are in sync and every move becomes part of their body. They will practice 16 hours a day for a month. Doing nothing else but perfecting their moves. They really ought him a lot and really love him. He was there from day one. When ask who's the best dancer of BTS without any hesitation he said J. Hope. Also J. Hope learn the choreo so fast even difficult ones (5 min sometimes) that is the one who teach the others members the choreo and correct any mistake. But BTS and specially Hobi also comes with Choreo for Solo stage or moves to incorporate in their choreo. But at the end it comes to Mr Son

Mr. Song Sung Deuk is their choreographer and performance director. In the early years of BTS, he not only did choreos for BTS, but also danced as a back dancer for BTS too. Like Bang PD and Pdogg PD, he created BTS. He does choreo for txt and gfriend. We should be grateful to him.

BTS has worked with many choreographers in the past, however the connective tissue in their career has been Son Sungdeuk. While a lot of performances are choreographed in whole or in part by an out of company choreographer (Keone Madrid has worked on a lot of BTS choreo as well as many many others) most offsite choreographies are sent in by video to the production team and are studied to be taught to BTS (some of those Demo tapes are later published by the original choreographer’s teams so you can see what stayed true and what changed)- so Sundeuk is the filter through which BTS learn every new choreo, even if he wasn’t the main choreographer for the song. And dances are prone to change, as noted in the MV reactions by BTS themselves: ‘That was before the choreo changed, remember?’ Just goes to show that even after the performances start, The choreos are still being workshopped in house in much the same collaborative style as BTS makes their music, so everyone can influence and have an input. That is how they keep everything coherent, but they can be so diverse in their repertoire coming out with iconic choreos like Anpanman, Singularity, and Danger. Seriously, there is like a whole book that could be written on the way BTS choreographies come together, it’s so interesting.

I'm Korean and I can't speak English, so I speak with a translator. J-Hope is an excellent dancer, but I know that the choreography is done by Seongdeuk Son or overseas choreographers. As you know, if you look at all the choreography, you quickly learn the choreography within 10 minutes and then help other members. He is a good person with excellent talent and good personality.

Ok you asked for a list of choreographers. Let's start with their in house choreographer. 1. Son Sungdeuk: been with Big Hit since the beginning, he is also the preformance director. He filled in for Suga during a dance practice for a preformance for SBS back in 2013 when Suga was in the hospital. Some of the videos he choreographed for: Danger, I Need U, Run (the iconic jacket move), DNA, NOT TODAY. 2. Keone/Mari: married couple from the states, and was on World of Dance. Videos: Dope, Fire, B,S,& T. And Singularity. 3. David Lim: with dance crew GRV. videos: Boy "in" Luv 4. Dylan Mayoral: dance crew Boyland, video: "Boy meets Evil." 5. Quick Style Crew: dance crew from Norway, videos: Save Me 6. Carlo Darang: Co director with Keone of Choreo Cookies. Assisted Keone and Mari on most of their videos, including "Dope." 7. Markus Pe Benito: created one of ur favs, Jimins solo "Lie." 8. Rie Hata: Japan based crew called Queen of Swag. Videos: Apanman 9. Sienna Lalau: 19 y.o. from texas based crew "The Lab." Videos: Dionysus, and Chicken Noodle Soup. You may remember her from the beginning of the "ON" video. She was the first person you see. Bonus: j hope does contribute his own choreo when the original doesn't match or work or if it's to difficult. And lastly, I'm not sure u know this but the last choreographer is Jin. Yep, I said Jin. Their video for Spinebreaker. Actually the while group did something in that video. Cause it was just them doing it.... I know this was a long post, but wanted to give you both the. They’ve had other choreographers for title tracks such as Keone Madrid (Dope, Fire, most notably the 3:33 moment, DNA, Not Today) Quick Step crew (Save Me), Rie Hata (Idol, Anpanman, Airplane), Brian Puspos (Serendipity), Sienna Lalau (Dionysus, On). They get an interesting mix. They were covering other choreos in the 3J performance, which is really interesting to see them dancing steps not created for them.

Son Sungdeuk ( Mr. Son as we like to call him) is bts performance director. he used to be their main choreographer back in the day. you can see him dancing with bts as a back up dancer in some old dance practices. he still choreographs for them but a lot of people choregraph for bts now. they find w.e choreographer style fits with the song best. even if mr son isnt the original choreographer he learns the dance and teaches/ helps bts with the moves, makes sure everything is in sync. he is in a lot of bangtan bombs. im surprised you dont know him

Son Sungdeuk used to choreograph the majority of their dances in the beginning but now BTS get a lot of their choreos from other choreographers and dancers. Mr. Son is now the creative/performance director so he still leads and teaches them the dances. He's the one directing them in Bangtan Bombs. You can google who choreographed their dances for individual songs if you ever get curious :)

BTS choreography comes from many sources, somethimes, it would be an in-house job, sometimes, it would be outsourced. If you check under each practice video and offical mv with a choreo, the choregraphers will be credited there. Also, Hobi became a dancer first and than become a rapper. Obviously music was always a big part of his life because of his passion for dance since a young age, that's why his the dance cap in the team.
