It is also his passion for what he does, his love for hip hop and rap and a natural talent, an incredible sense of rhythm and musicality. If you don't have talent even determination and hard work won't make you the rapper on his level. And don't forget he writes his own verses, he raps his own lyrics, which are meaningful, often very deep with double or triple entendres, and it is not only clever wordplays, but on many cases his lyrics are like poetry too: blue side extended version, blue & grey, my universe - these are only his recent very poetic lyrics. Personally I think people should stop saying "the fact he wasn't a rapper before" - this is meaningless now, he's been rapping for more than 10 years now, time to stop giving it any significance. He has been a pro for several years now, a real passionate talented rapper. Who cares he didn't rap as 15 year old?

He can do all: dance rap and sing, and he is a great songwriter with his own unique style, complete artist. Some lame people feel threatened by this so they try to downplay him, but really idk why you even pay attention to those insignificant haters when j-hope is the most followed Korean solo artist on Spotify, CNS hit 300M views on YT as first MV by BTS member, also it is the 2nd liked out of all solo MVs (over 10,5 m likes), songs from his Hope World mixtape sold over 1 million units in US without the label's promotion (he broke this record as 1st BTS member), and CNS was a first BTS solo song that charted on BB hot100. These are only some of his achievements, clearly he has lots of fans. Please just hype him, talk about his talents and really there's is no sense in making pity comments, Hoseok doesn't need such comments, he is loved and successful king.

I normally start writing my comments as the reaction is happening but, like always, I just couldn’t take my eyes off Hobi. He has captivated me since I first became army years ago. BTS has great dancers of course, but something about his way of moving just draws me in. He shines on stage and it’s a joy to see how much he loves performing. Not to mention it’s a joy just to see him period…he’s a beautiful man. Thank you for giving our Hobi some attention. Made my morning to watch it.

Hmm, he learned and he is on this high level mostly because of his own talent, passion and hard work. I can assure you that even if namgi helped him a bit in his trainee days ( not only them btw but also other trainee rappers that lived in the dorms), he mostly got his style from his fav rappers like Kendrick Lamar for example, Hoseok's rap sounds nothing like namgi rap. What you hear is him honing his rap skills and creating his own style which he has for many years now, it's thanks to his hard work, passion, not affrading trying new things and his influences outside of the group too. Some of you sound like he had never been into rap and hip hop before he entered BH dorms in 2010 which is really concerning when Hsk has hip hop background just as namgi, but he learned about hip hop through dance at first, but yeah as a teenager he knew the hip hop scene, he had his fav rap artists who influenced him as a rapper. Maybe you should read his lyrics in Hip Hop Lover. I find it silly to conclude namgi learned him everything about rap.

hands down one of the best performers, i see why many armys (myself included) want him and Doja to collab. In my opinion.. He's really amazing, maybe because the other members are also really strong because of their natural talent so he's rarely seen. Maybe because his personality is very cheerful and even noisy sometimes makes him invisible. But you can say he is really great,on the one hand he really likes dance (absolutely great at dance skill, no doubt about it) and on the other hand he has to learn to rap like the other two members and we can see now that his rap skills can't be underestimated either. But he's really great and he's a really good person, all the members admit it, he's a big pillar among the pillars. BTS is really a great performer and a great talent. Look how they look like when they perform, it really different when they are not on stage. Totally different. BTS is great.
