Yeah gave a speech at the UN and then goes and performs at the World Cup in Qatar!!!! A country with an abysmal human rights record, appalling treatment of migrant workers, women and if you are a member of the lgbtq+ community you face jail or even the death penalty. How do you go from the UN to Qatar????I love BTS but I am so disappointed Jungkook performed here, it is hypocritical. I can’t support him on this occasion. Many artists refused on principle to perform there - Rod Stewart, Dua Lipa and Shakira. I wish Jungkook had also.I will get lots of hate for saying this I’m sure but World Cup in Qatar is very controversial, it should not be taking place there.

Our pride, indeed. He did amazingly last night 💜💜 Love how BTS always go to the bigger picture at every issues. Remember one of their goal? BTS always said that music is a universal language. How they want to use their voices and musicalities to unite and bridge all the differences. That goal achieved tru JK's performance and the meaning behind the song itself. Not to mention how Mr. Morgan Freeman also spoke about how sport also a universal language, how emotion (love) unite diff.personalities into one team, then diff.teams into one world's celebration. Sometimes we have to go through a storm to achieve our goal. That's what JK and BTS do. There were issues behind the project? Yes, but have you all read the government official statement about it? And how UN labour acknowledge their effort to handle it? Qatar is not the only country with a strict rules about women and sexuality. As long as i know, those related to their religion, believes and traditions. Don't speak about human rights if we can't even respect Qatar on that one. SK also not open to LGBTQIA+, my country also not, many of eastern country are not. And you wanna fight with SK and all those country on that matter? Artists backed out, have you all read FIFA's statement? No way in hell an artist could backed out in the last minute because they're bound to a contract from months ago. The conclusion? They're not being invited from the 1st place.

💗He said in weverse live after the performance that he did the rehearsals every night by himself imagining the concert. He learnt the dance after coming to Qatar and for the rest of choreo, he watched a video and added his own flavor. And with his earpiece not function he couldnt/barely hear his voice. Running short of superlatives he rightfully deserves, all I can say is I see a spellbinding man that was literally born and destined for the stage. I can´t name another performer that could rival effortlessness and smoothness of his delivery or joyous vibrant projection he is so well known for. This fan cam was fabulous and although I fully appreciate dancers or the other singer who contributed to this magnificent performance, we all know we didn´t want to miss a single second of Jungkook´s magic :-) So happy people on site recorded his performance for the rest of us to enjoy later :-)

JK said in one of the episodes in Bon Voyage 3 that he doesnt want to sing/perform if he has had a drink or has had alcohol because he said he'll mess it up. I dont want to spoil BV if you havent seen it yet but on the episode he had a few drinks and felt he couldve done better. SO, it looks like whenever he performs, he does it sober. 😃

I personally think that the choreo was toned down for where the World Cup is located this time around - Qatar. He was likely being respectful to their culture. BTS has been known to do that in the past - when they performed in Saudi Arabia.
