Fake Love is one of the songs that's rife with BU understory imagery and meaning. So its meaning is layered. On the surface, we can all relate to a "fake" love. BUT underneath that simple meaning, the BU story continues. Fire still follows Suga, Water Jimin, Candy bars J-Hope. The masks mean something, the flower in Jin & Jungkook's scenes, and who is wearing the mask? Save Me that inverts to I'm Fine...there's so much more to it, but that's another rabbit hole, lol.

curvytangerine yeah agreed it took me a couple months to even get to the point of even trying to understand the storyline stuff. It’s why I don’t understand people who recommend the wings trailers from the get go, it’s like they don’t have enough info to process that ur. But at the same time I think it’s fun to tease how much further they can get into it in the future if they want. That’s the nice thing about BTS you can enjoy them at a surface level or dive deeper if you choose. 😉

Kito and Naomi have expressed an interest in the back story, AND because Kito is a musician himself, I think he can handle a heads up that this particular song is part of the BU. ANd of course there's one that is the best one but it is sub titled called BTS From Nobodies to Legends part 2. Like I said, watch them on your own if you would like so you won't feel pressured to read or listen to it quickly and can enjoy it. Thank you for doing your best to fulfill ARMY's requests and please don't feel pressured to get to all of them right away. There's a fictional storyline running through some BTS videos, but even without knowing that, you get symbols specific to the song. Your reflection in the mirror, drowning in tears, letting yourself be consumed by fire, wallowing in comfort like candy, your phone turning to sand and yet being inundated by calls you don't want, everything looking bright but with dark shadows at the same time... One of the best music videos I've ever seen.

Yo! Seriously. I enjoy watching how you are getting to know BTS. You clearly opened the door to their world and seem interested in getting to know them as musicians. This, I definitely appreciate, because the are definitely musicians who are serious with their craft. They have a good team of producers and musicians who help them create the kind of music all the 7 members want. FYI: The release at least 2 mini albums in one year, then followed by a full album the next year, but in between albums, the members do their own solo projects. The rap line (RM, Suga and JHope) write and release their own solo albums, but they release them for free with an option to buy on iTunes. The vocal line (Jungkook, V, Jimin and Jin) also release their own music, but normally in singles. All released for free. It's only their projects as a group get physical CD releases. BTS produce a lot of free stuff (ARMY are well fed), and in return, ARMY go all out when we buy their paid releases like albums, DVDs, concerts, movies, games, and other product endorsements...including cars. Yes, there is a BTS SUV, it exists, the Palisade from Hyundai. And yes, even that car went 10x over the expected preorder because ARMY bought them like there's no tomorrow.

NGL, even though I'm not in the market for a vehicle, and if I was, a Palisade doesn't fit my needs, and I've got ZERO $$, but I would totally buy that vehicle because of their commercial. But due to those issues, when I AM ready for a new vehicle, I'm going to the Hyundai dealership because of their endorsement. I like that they keep their endorsements limited (thank God!)

You have to watch Jimin serendipity performance live at the Rose Bowl. It takes an old soul to really appreciate that performance. I mean the young folks love it but some people don't get how truly amazing this stage presence is. You only see people perform like him a few times in a generation.

In Joon's album review for "Love Yourself:Answer" he said the songs are supposed to be listened to in order of the album because they tell a story. It starts with Euphoria and the first Euphoric and happy feelings of love then it gets sad and dark with the pain and dark side of love and how it changes you and culminates with the song "Epiphany" where you realise you should love yourself first, then comes the anthem "Idol" - we are who we are and we know who we are and you can talk all the shit you want, we don't care, we're not going to change and you can't stop me loving myself". Also sidenote: there's a fictional storyline that runs through BTS music videos starting from "I Need You" from "Most Beautiful Moments in life" album that ended with a wrbtoon earlier this year that finally confirmed all the fan theories for years. So sometimes you may not understand the references in the video (like in Fake Love). I'm sure someone can give you a watch list or synopsis of the storyline 💜

Their music has a way of transcending eveything-race, gender, language barriers, where you live etc. Naomi was spot on when she said they were doing something different from everyone else out there right now. I recommend listening to RM's speech at the United Nations because it was after listening to that that I became part of ARMY.

Their music videos are even more impressive (also no green screen) when you learn that most of them are connected into a fictional storyline that they have going on for years... so nothing is a coincidence with them. FYI, the storyline is involved, but BTS is multi-layered enough you can watch/listen without getting into it, as long as you're aware that the parts you don't get or understand or are confused about probably have something to do with the Storyline (or literature references, which is another fun layer). Just don't want you to think you are limited in what you can see when.

BTS's songs are relatable, Has deep message and symbolic all at once. Bighit and BTS are all about music for healing. They ainlt doing music to be just hyping, be famous and get money in exchange. They are oretty serious with their crafts and movement and has a high respect for music as a whole. Which is why they're so diverse when.it comes to their music.
