I want to bring you with me as I watch A guide to BTS upload by I really learned a lot from my subscribers and this video. Hey! nice reaction 👍☺. BTS were invited to the white house last year (2022). BTS members basically close with each other, more like a family rather than friends. They used to live in the same room then the same house for years. Even now they have their own house, it's not far from each other. Jungkook was actually 13 when he join BTS. Korean age is calculated differently. You were considered 1 yo when you were born and your age increase on every new year. Example with V. He was born on 30/12/1995 so he was 1yo on that day itself. Then, 2 days after is new year 1/1/1996 and he turns 2. That's how they calculate. It's true that Jungkook basically was raised by BTS. You can see the members smile proudly whenever Jungkook doing something. They often talk about him as well. If you like V's vibe, you can check his album Layover. I'm sure you gonna love his songs. BTS did have song covers of western artists like beautiful (Mariah Carey ft Miguel), graduation song (Snoop Dog, Wiz Khalifa) and born singer (J.Cole). Just a clarification: Jung Kook was actually 13 when he left home and moved in as a trainee. Until June,2023, Korea used a different way than the rest of us to calculate age. You were considered 1 yr old the day you were born and everyone aged a year on Jan. First. So, for example. JK was born 9/1/1997. On Jan 1, 1998, he was considered 2 yrs old when in reality he was 4 months old. V is even more dramatic. His BD was December 30, 1995. So he was 2 days old when in Korea he was considered to be 2 YEARS old. Isn’t that crazy for us westerners to consider? Regarding your statement about V at the very beginning. Yes, he has LOTS of people who consider him their bias, but it’s important to understand that ALL SEVEN have hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of fans who consider them their bias. There are SEVEN individual stars in BTS that together make up the best boy band. 😊 I do have a bias, but I’m 💯 OT7… love them all. being someone from the South your collard greens statement was funny. I wish this would have kept in the part explaining that V made up the definition about purple. For me, that info helps to show V’s tender, thoughtful side. He’s such an interesting person (actually they all are in their own unique ways) I didn’t see your Tiny Desk reaction but I’m almost 100 percent sure it was V you reacted to. It was an amazing concert. I’ve sent it to many of my friends and family members who have no interest in getting to know about my bias (JK) or BTS. I have a feeling you found your bias. 😂 Hope you will love and appreciate them all though. I’m pretty sure you will. 😊💜 I’m happy you found BTS through JK. There is so much BTS content both group and solo work it can be hard to know where to start. I would say just dive in and follow your own path. If you want to start with solos then V is a good place to start as he has made a video for every song on his mini album Layover. Or you could start with the rapline. You can see BTS are rooted in hip-hop/rap and R&B. Another really good intro video is The most beautiful life goes on: The story of BTS (2023 updated) by Rice Squad. This shows their climb up the music industry, a real underdog story. I love your reaction and can't wait for your track breakdowns. Just note: Never use auto-generated captions!💜

The song you liked the most by RM is Joke, it was kind of a clap back at all those who said he couldn't rap and in the end not one has stepped up... Lol Our 7 are some of the most humble talented gifted artist and young men the world has to offer.. RM is a lyrical genius, especially the way he uses wordplay even between languages, composing using different beats flows rhythms.. He's also the only one who does not have a driver's license Yoongi is my bias and I love how he's so savage. Yoongi was rapping to Drake in the audition. He seems like a very cold and distant person but he's very caring and loving J-Hope is a phenomenal dancer and headlined at Lollapalooza last year.. Hobi is the sunshine of the group, he's a beautiful smart creative man Jin was cast on the street getting off the bus that's true, it has happened twice to him... He did not sing or dance at all before he became a trainee.. Jin used to pack lunches for the younger members and drive n pick them up from school each day. Jungkook was only 13/14 when he joined as a trainee and decided at 15. he loves his brothers and Army so very much, loves to take risks, he's pitch perfect and talented in so many things. He's called the "golden maknae"because he's just good at everything he does🤷 V was hidden because the company feared he would be approached by other companies because of his striking good looks.V's voice is like a river of melted chocolate and his vocal range is amazing. He loves jazz and he feels like an old soul to me. He's very funny and spontaneous. Jimin is pure perfection when he dances, the feelings and emotions he's able to protray is amazing. He also had the shortest time as a trainee, around 7 months only.

I became a fan earlier this year, so I understand how you feel. V is how I found them, so my heart smiled when you gave him an invite to the cookout. You are in for a great musical journey. BTS will be back in 2025 for a concert once again after their military service, if you want to check out the raplines (RM/SUGA/J-hope) songs : Cyper 1, 2, 3 & 4 ... DDaeng ... UGH ... OUTRO Tear, plus their solo albums by each member. You also have to check out the vocalists (Jin/Jimin/Jungkook/V) songs and they also have solo songs too. Enjoy BTS, once an ARMY you will never be disappointed!!!

There will always be someone here to help out if you get stuck or confused with any of the details.... Take your time... they're all now serving in the military so you have more than enough time to catch up with a lot of their content !! This guide introduce the members in the order they became under BIGHIT & BTS, normally guides would open up with the leader then oldest to youngest but here even though it opens with the leader RM; he’s actually the middle member followed by the second & third oldest, oldest, first & second younger members.

For example, Park Jimin....Park is the last name and Jimin is his first name. Here we would say Jimin Park. Following is a list of their names, birth name (last name then first name) then stage name: Kim Namjoon - RM (leader of the group) born 1994 Kim Seok Jin - Jin (oldest) born 1992 Min Yoongi Gi - Suga (also called Yoongi by many, Agust D when he does solo work) born 1993 Jung Ho Seok - J-Hope (also known as Hobi. Dance leader) born 1994 Park Jimin - Jimin ( has high tenor voice, is the shortest in the group but only by 1cm according to him. Suga is next tallest. I’m glad you enjoyed BTS and hopefully you enjoy the rest of your journey with them. They have a lot of western rap influence (since they started off as a hip hop group). Along with Young wild and free they used the tune of Kendrick’s Lamar “Swimming pools” to make “school of thoughts”. Both were released before they debuted. I recommend listening to HipHop Phile live performance with eng captions. It is a good song that talks about their love of hiphop. V does have a lot of soul to him which I think it is because he loves to listen and make R&B songs. His new album Layover is amazing and I recommend watching his solo tiny desk concert for layover. Helpful hint for the guide: Not sure if you know.... Korean people counted age differently to others... Korean Age vs International Age - difference is 1-2 years depending on if their birthday has been.... In most older videos, including this guide, they are giving Korean ages so you will need to adjust. The members were only 13-18 years old when they became trainees and 15-20 yo when they debuted. In Korea when you are born you are considered 1 year old. Then on lunar newyear every year you add another year to your age, no matter what your birthdate is. .... Year of birth - International age at Debut on 13June13 (Year and age became trainee) Jin 1992 - 20 yo (2011 - 18yo) Suga 1993- 20 yo (2011 - 17yo) Suga started with MIDI at 11 JHope 1994 - 19 yo (2011 - 17yo)JHope started dancing at 8 RM 1994 - 18 yo (2010 - 15yo) RM started rapping at 11 and was well known in the underground scene at 13 Jimin 1995 - 17 yo (2012 - 16yo) V 1995 - 17 yo (2011 - 15yo) JK 1997 - 15 yo (2011 - 13yo) JK signed with big hit at 13yo Rule of thumb - if it's before their birthday - subtract 2 years to get international age. if it's after their birthday - subtract 1 year to get their international age. I had not been ARMY for long but I watched it online and I was blown away. RM’s solo album (and his previous mixtapes) are also very good. His song Moonchild was chosen by NASA for an upcoming space mission, along two BTS songs he, Suga & J-Hope contributed lyrics to (134340 & Mikrokosmos).

Yes they were singing the Young Wild and Free song. BTS did a cover of the song when pre-debut. It was Jungkook, Jimin, and J-Hope. They were so young, from ages 14 to 19. They changed the lyrics and called it the Graduation Song. That's what They were singing on JIN's graduation day. I'll leave you a link to the cover. I know I'm late, but I wanted to make sure to comment, This was a great reaction. All the regular ARMY ask only two things of you - to be respectful and to be open to something new. You are obviously both of those, so please don't worry too much. Personally, I enjoy reactors being honest when one of the BTS songs just isn't their thing. Heck, there are songs that aren't my thing even if respect them and appreciate the lyrics. Yes, there are toxic members of the fandom, but try to ignore them if you can. In terms of the names, please don't worry. I went from 'Oh man, I'll never learn their names' to 'What do you mean they have a stage name and a birth name' to 'WHAT DO YOU MEAN ONE OF THEM HAS THREE?????' Suddenly one day, I realized I knew them all. And then I realized I knew the name of their pets too. LOL It just kind of happens over time.

With V, i have to mention this again cause i didnt like how it played out. Like it was for you, i think there are a specific reasons for Everyone, why they like a certain member or just gravitate towards one more than the others. There countless reasons for that, maybe its their personality, maybe their interests or the type of music they like or make. Same goes for other entertainers within the industry, they propably like BTS as whole, but in this instance, V was invited to a specific party, where he met some American artists, and one of the rappers that was there, gifted V a durag. V went later on live online and showed what he had been gifted, and he really looked like appreciated it. But obviously there was a certain group of people who didnt like this, and immediately started calling him out of being 'ignorant', how he cant see that him having that is cultural appropriation and some even flat out calling him racist. In my opinion, these people completely fail to realise that most likely, this artist who gifted that to V, also is a fan of his work, there is something that he wanted to acknowlege, by giving him a gift, and maybe it was suppost to be meaningfull in a way. V certainly appreciated it Very much. These are unfortunately the kind of issues that seems to linger around the members, and it is propably because of their background of doing hiphop in their early stages, and even now in between their other work, but also because of the members love for hiphop as a genre and as a culture. Theyve at least tried to be as straight forward as they can with it and respect it as a forgein culture to them, but there are always people who dont see any of that, and just jump on any individual issue they can. V definetly has Soul in him, and his love and passion for rnb and jazz is that influences his music, and that partially leads to a point where people who truly are passionate about hiphop and its legacy, they will also love the style of music that V makes. Thats just my opinion of it. Thank you for taking the time to do this reaction as whole, its a long video. Im gonna go through all youre reactions after this one. Much love.✌️

Just recently subbed to your page. I have only been ARMY since 2019 and have so much to learn about BTS not only as a group but as solo artists. They came into my life when I needed them most and I am quite sure many other ARMY most likely share that same experience.
