Blue and grey is another song sung on the same programme. Another different style on the same programme is Telepathy. They sang 5 songs on mtv unplugged. BTS is unique in singing almost every genre you can think of. So this style wasn't new.

BTS Backup Band called "The GHOST Band" they have great productions n mostly those young men have talents. I'm impressed with the handover for it is not an easy thing to do in a group of 7. They did pretty good, hard work n practice shine in their talents.the young man leading the vocal is Jung-kook, n the high notes is between Jin n Jimin. The very high note was Jin with the high C# (sharp) They delivered that Cold Play song so beautifully.

They have so many songs like this!!! The songs they display on each comeback don't represent their entire range. You just haven't dig enough yet in their discography. 😉 Lot of "jewels" over the last 7 1/2 years.

FYI. BTS has produced about 250ish songs since 2013. This number does not include their individual mixtapes for some members (typically consists of 6-11songs each) or even free songs released in the SoundCloud, collaboration songs, etc). So it is too soon for you to conclude that BTS does not have such type of song like Fix You.

BTS respects Coldplay a lot and a few members have been to their concerts in the past. BTS listened to Fix you when they were going through a hard time in quarantine and they wanted to share the song with their fans to comfort them during this difficult time. Coldplay rarely lets anyone cover their songs because they might do it justice but they trusted BTS to do it. Coldplay loved the cover and commented in Korean that it was '아름다운 @bts_twt Love c, g, w & j " which means Beautiful. They also shared the cover on all their social media accounts =) I suggest watching the MTV performances on BANGTANTV channel you won't be copyrighted there it's BTS's channel so they re-uploaded the performances there. Life Goes On, Blue & Grey, Dynamite and Telepathy performances were just amazing and really showcased their vocal abilities

Basically the song comforted them. BTS wanted to comfort ARMY also during this troubling time and did a cover of it. Coldplay usually don't allow other artists to cover their songs. They not only allowed them to cover their song, but genuinely complimented BTS performance. 💜

Nice reaction 1-they did really great job with this cover actually themselves mentioned in past esp member V( the one that ended the song ) that he is fan of coldplay .but raison why they did this is also to confront the audience and fans for what is happening around the world ,Since fix you is pretty emotional healing type of song . this go so well with The concept of there last recent album "Be" 2-I will suggested you to watch all bts MTV performance for me all them are worth especially blue and grey (beautiful ..ballad..acoustic songs)+ life goes on (acoustic version with live band) you will hear great vocals with superb ad libs harmony ..do turn cc.. 3-.you're probably new to bts that's why you said it totally different form the style that you have seen of them..I checked you're bts playlist you have done few songs most of them are MV single songs.. You didn't explore Thiers b-sides.. You may have read this before in comments but bts are Very divers in term of genre music ..so they have done pretty lots of ballads songs during there careers .nd albums . 4-i don't know you're personal taste in term of music But if you're planing future Bts reaction I will suggested you to listen to whole bts album with each title tracks( not just MVs )by order ..l think it would be good experience in term of music productions vocals/rap but also in term lyrism Thiers albums are composed from several parts with mix of ;group ,sub units, solo members songs. All connected with each others with important concepts it's like a well-written novel having introduction, development, twists, and conclusion it shared a compelling story. They did an amazing job. I see no reason why someone from any country couldn't like the same songs that Americans do. From what I've seen of the talent shows around the world most of the songs they sing are in english by major American or European artists. For example The Hu band, a Mongolian metal band, did a cover of Metalica's "Sad But True" that the members of Metalica loved.

OH NO! this is TOTALLY up btsś alley. Bts have a lot of really heartfelt songs and are very good lyricists. recommend doing some reactions to the songs others recommended (if possible with lyrics) like truth untold or blue&grey. Bts have music in a LOT of different genres.
