Our guys are passionate performers on stage. Suga was actually sick during Cypher Medley but he still killed it! The holy trinity...the rap line of BTS each hold their own and it's hard to compare them because their styles are so different yet they complement each other. There's no point in comparing nor is it fair because we love/support them all. *There's NO one star in BTS because they're all stars each in their own unique way. BTS is not BTS without each & every member!* To summarize the styles of the rap line: ➡RM analyses the world ➡Suga criticizes the world ➡JHope visualizes the world

We use to say this: RM raps with mind and words; J-HOPE raps with body and flow; SUGA raps with emotions and soul. They’re our Trinity lol So in the first three chyphers they rap about the disrespect they subjected and in the last they say how they’ve overcome this, telling they’re okay, they love their self. Tear is really intense and BTS wearing Dior made me feel in a type of way lol. Each of the boys brings his own to the group and there’s a video called ‘BTS are overrated then what’s this’ that shows their individual contribution. If you want to react to some funny compilations I suggest you ‘BTS being crackheads at award shows’ and ‘BTS being extra af in America’. I really like your channel!💜

I agree, but we need to be considerate too especially to baby Armys. DT Parker is quite new to BTS so it's so easy to get confused and mix up with the 7 members. In the meantime, let's just give a gentle and friendly reminder to him there is no need to be harsh with comments.

I've watched a lot of 'introduction to the Members' material, and some Vlogs and things like the New Zealand and Helsinki material, as well as 'from nobodies to ...' histories. I understood pretty quickly that BTS operates like an organism or, more usually, like a family. What they do is not one thing, but 'everything' and as a result western people can't easily classify them : that's why they are called Kpop. It's not just music, or dance, or video, or lights, or rap : it's all of those things - as Yoongi describes it, a multi-dimensional experience. And each individual is essential. Special

Hi There DT Parker, You remind me of myself when I first learned of BTS when they performed on the Billboard awards 2019. I am enjoying watching you learn about them. I am a 67 yr old who has gone thru a lot. I was in a major auto accident in 2019 which, left me in a mess mentally and physically. I wouldn't leave my home out of fear of driving and depression. I normally don't watch award shows and prefer gospel and had started to appreciate a lot country artist, i.e., Dan and Shay, etc. Discovering BTS was an accident; that's what I thought anyway...I was actually getting ready to turn the channel when these gorgeous, talented young men caught my eye. I watched them over and over. The next day I went on KZbin and google and started reading about them. I read about South Korea and a lot of the constraints, gossip, hatred, threats and expectations some young people; especially idols, are subjected to. I read for days and watched everything I could. I watched every performance starting from their debut to present day...I then prayed for them just like I do my kids because they have been through so much. My hope is that all people will take note of their hard work, long-suffering, compassion and respect that they have for others. These young men made me get up and stop wallowing in self pity and fear. I am so much better and stronger because of them...who knew that someone my age, a US citizen, could learn something from a group of young men (I call them my "Babies") in another country, that I've never met? I am not ARMY, I simply love these great young men! They are BTS but they are each unique and talented in their own right. Enjoy this BTS journey knowing that there is a lot of junk online about them. You have to really ignore the nonsense and focus on them and their talent. Before they became famous they visited the US for a show called "American Hustle", I think that's the title...There are 8 episodes I think and It's on KZbin. That will allow you to see them as boys before they really blew up. It is a little sad in the beginning because they were scared but they persevered, met new friends and learned some valuable lessons. 💜💜💜💜💜

Although rm and suga has backround in rapping before joining bts, they guide jhope during their trainee days, and jhope work so hard for his rapping and you can see his growth and not just a simple growth, he creates his own style and known as super versatile one in the rap scene currently And yes, hobi do co-writes, composes and co-produce their own music since the beginning. Actually the 3 rappers has their distinct style at the beginning and now, well for me i notice that they're experimenting on their flows and its the best, i love it. DT!! i know EXACTLY what you mean by BTS being the group that’s completely changed your western way of thinking and western bias, esp regarding artists and groups. they are such an anomaly I’ve never seen anything like them and I’ve been fans of plenty of other groups before BTS so I’ve seen a thing or two and when it came to discovering BTS for myself I was so thrown off by how well-rounded ALL seven (!!! seven !!!) of them are! Not only are they all multi-talented but they really are a family. There are no egos or any issues of that sort in this group, like the typical things that usually would break apart western groups. It’s really incredible to witness.
@trampham97174 жыл бұрын
Most people are used to finding their “Star” of the group. Very common to look for the “one” in the group - whether that’s the breakout star or the solo stan rhetoric you see on twitter. Connecting with a full group, as many 7 seems impossible. BUT if you crave quality, crave craftsmanship, crave to be challenged, and you have an open-mind you have the makings of an ARMY 😘 enjoy the ride with us as BTS continues to cement their place and ARMYs place in history 💜

I go back here after 4 months just to say that Yoongi produced Outro: Tear when BTS was having some difficulty at the end of 2018. They were deciding whether they should disband or not and when Yoongi played this song, they all cried together. This song was for the members.

The difficulty was mainly at the end of 2017 beginning of 2018. They cried in stage at the end of 2018 after speaking about it at Mama.

Fun fact: one of the members of Boyz II Men (Shawn Stockman) is a bts fan...I think he even did a cover of Jimin's song "serendipity"😂. Anyways, thanks for the genuine reactions. Trust me, there's no other group that is so well rounded, i've looked & there's always something missing. BTS is just on another level of talent & they actually have love for their craft. You should do album listens, that way you'll get through their main discography abit quicker than doing one song at a time😆💜

Outro: Tear is god level tier. Breaking up makes us go through all the stages of grief, this song is pure anger and depression. The first part, RM’s, is tear as in crying, so it’s more about the sadness, delivered in a very angry way. The second one, Suga’s is tear as in breaking, and it’s anger. It’s the ripping of our hearts and ppl ripping each other apart while breaking up. The third part, Hobi’s, is fear, the fear that we’ll never love again because we now have all this baggage that will impact our life forever. She’s a queen. You should listen to the album version too, so you can hear all the layers and the violins!!!!

If you're an obsessive type, beware, bc BTS is a dope, a real dope. It's pure dopamine. But it's a cure as well. I really appreciate how open-minded you are and love your willingness to see outside of the typical "American way" of seeing things (measuring one member up against each other, etc.). Yes, one of the many reasons that BTS is loved on a global platform is bc of the fact that each and every member is so uniquely talented. They all shine in their own right. If you were to put any one of the 7 members on stage as a solo act, it doesn't matter which members it is... every single one would fill that stage with undeniable swag and stage presence alone. This is all of course just my opinion... but comparing BTS to any other groups like NSync or the Beatles, as I've heard and seen many times before, is not doing them justice. BTS is.... BTS. There is no one like them. They are LEGENDS in their own right and have built an empire on pure talent and hard work. Everyone has a bias that doesn't mean that one is more talented than the next. Mine personally is Yoongi (Suga/Agust D). He's a lyrical genius, an award winning producer, a dancer, he can act (which is very apparent in his mv's), and let's be honest... the man literally drips SWAGGGGG out of his pores.

Don't feel bad about not telling apart Hobi and Suga immediately. When Hobi started he came in as a primary dancer, dance leader and possible choreographer. He actually was trained by Yoongi on his rapping which is why they can sound similar. Hobi is a sub vocalist in the group, he raps like he dances, with intensity. There's a tinge of that singing quality when he raps, Suga has a certain breathing pattern that gets more identifiable over time. You'll know soon enough, the difference! Also, you were not wrong on how you said it as they say “tear" in 2 different ways (crying and being torn apart). All the rap line, including Jungkook and Tae have their special way of rapping. Check out the Ddaeng and the Vocal Line cover. ☺️

I don't compare BTS members, each can hold on there own on stage, but they also full each other on on stage (sorry, can't come up on the word in English that I'm looking for) for me the rap line is a golden trio, who are really strong on there own but together they are just GOLD, same for the vocal line there voices sound so great and they can hold there own in a solosong but together they perfect each other because each of them have a unique voice that just sounds perfect together. So the rap line is the same, each of them have there unique rapsound that levels up more when together 😀 And BTS as a group all together are just SUPER PERFECT together 😊😉💜
