"Spring Day" is a beautiful song/MV but I believe it touches upon a controversial issue. It shows Omelas which is from a story called "Those who walked away from Omelas" which is about a place or Country that can maintain its happiness but at the cost of the misery of a child. This was also about the ship "Sewol" that sank on Spring Day. It carried children and 300 went down with it. In some Areas in the world, children are taught to obey their elders. The captain of Sewol ordered the children to remain because help was supposed to be coming, little did they know was that the captain and crew all escaped. Clues? Yellow ribbons that are seen in the MV and are still present where the ship was to port, the shoes Jimin carried (In Korea, they put shoes of their loved ones that passed on a tree), The dryer with a person reflecting is said to resemble the ship's window. In the beginning I believe the members represent the children that were lost that sad tragic day. How the ship was full of items but the members seemed sad because their friends were leaving. Last Jk runs through the train, laundrymat, and Omelas that are now empty of items and friends. But His friends surround him and hes happy again but he misses himself(on the train) going through the tunnel. The light goes out and hes surrounded by his friends once more. That pile of clothes Suga sat on symbolised all the childrens items that were lost with them. RM did talk of Spring Day and of Sewol. Was a tragedy. They privately donated. You have to understand that for Artists to donate, they were blacklisted. Im glad South korea has President Moon now.

NO ONE would have known about any ISSUE, but people make theories and other people seem to believe those theories as truths...

Just explaining this cause everyone always goes 👀 at the crow-tit lyric in Not Today 😂😂 Korean saying: "If a crow-tit walks like a stork it will break its legs". A crow-tit is a bird with a small stride because it has short legs, and when we compare this with a stork who has much taller legs, we see that the stork would easily be able to travel farther with less effort. The "crow-tits" are the generation from which BTS members come, whereas the "storks" are the generation prior. The stork generation is comprised of parents, teachers, employees- people the younger generation is meant to be able to look up to and to learn from. However these "storks" want the crow-tits to stick to the status quo and keep up with the same things their generation did. Their criticism and abuse of the crow tit generation is seen as acceptable by society. The song "Baepsae" by BTS is where the crow-tit reference is first mentioned and the song itself is an outright rejection of societal expectations for their generation. In short, crow-tits are the youth (and BTS themselves) who are essentially the underdogs and the victims of the generation before them. J-Hope's line in Not Today is like a call for solidarity.

Blood sweat and tears has to do with growing up and facing temptations and all that. It's based off of the book Damian (think that's how you spell it). Spring day was made to comfort many people stepped on by society. If you didn't notice the hotel says omelas (the ones who walk away from omelas) it's basically about a society surviving off the suffering of a child thus the name the ones who walk away from omelas. In the lyrics they mention snow piercer which is a movie about how the world is environemtally dead all except a train that keeps running. On the train there's social classes and the ones in the back are the lowest class. They like to include metaphors and literature. They also included some symbolism about the Seoul Feiry tragedy that had happened, they haven't comfirmed that this music video was made for that incident sice they could have been kicked off of shows for it but we all know what it symbolizes. The thing you mentioned about crow tits it's a bird. There's a saying that if a crow tit tries to walk like a stork (a bird with long legs) it'll break it's legs. Basically people had said that they were birn with a crappy background and that they would never achieve success because of that and that they will stay there at the bottom level. Bts broke that boundery and they are telling other underdogs to fight.

At the Webley Concert this year, 90K ARMY sang Young Forever to BTS. It was amazing! And Save Me, Bad weather was coming so they shot that all in one take and got the hell out of there. Fire is the song that brought me to BTS. Spring Day will make you cry if you know what the song is about. Not Today is a great anthem song. I was watching the news one night and there were some protests in another country and one of the orotest signs said, :A day will come when we will lose but it is not today, Today We Fight! Thanks for doing this marathon. I'm really enjoying watching it.

Young Forever is such a good song, but short. Its meaningful as they are sharing their thoughts and feelings at that moment in time. Some elements that occur in other MVs also can be seen in the FIRE MV (airplane, swimming pool, black hooded figures, words) and they reference Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here album cover (Suga shakes hands with the figure in black clothes) and Ryan Gosling's first movie 'Lost River' (the burning bike and the words on the metallic door 'Lost River'). The Save Me MV was filmed as a one shot, so no cuts! The members had to run behind the camera man when they were not supposed to be in the shot. They danced the whole thing on sand and the weather was horrible (raining and windy). Blood Sweat & Tears MV and song reference Herman Hesse's book Demian and is about temptations and challenges you face when growing up. The MV is also part of a bigger story line. You can see a lot of art and cultural references throughout the MV (paintings, statues, colors: black & white, angel-devil, good-evil). Spring Day is a very serious song. Many believe the MV is a tribute to the victims of the Sewol Ferry incident that happened in 2014 where 200+ high school students drowned. A lot of crew members and the captain evacuated while ordering the students to stay on board. It's a very sensitive topic in Korea. They took it there in pieces and built it on set. The mountains in the background are real, not green screen.

There is meanings behind some of these videos, Blood Sweat & tears was inspired by the book Damein by Herman Hess, Spring Day is theoried be about the 300 plus that lost their lives in the sewol ferry disaster. 18:20 actually Namjoon really love going to museums and art gallery’s. Taehyung has an interest in art and loves recreating art from famous artists such as Van Gogh. Jungkook can draw and paint (he can basically do anything he puts his mind to). Jimin’s kind of art is his dance and so is Jhope. Suga’s kind of art would probably be songwriting and producing new tunes, he specially is good at the piano. All of BTS write songs while some of the members produce if not all. Jin and Taehyung are good at acting (but then again all of them are)

All the videos you watched in this marathon are connected to their storyline in one way or another, however there is one in particular that has a second very sad meaning behind it. "Spring Day," was written by RM. He said once that he started writing it when he was thinking of those he had lost. However, about the same time off the coast of South Korea a ferry boat got caught up in some nasty weather.... RM adjusted some of the lryics. The video and the song are about the Sewol Ferry Disaster. Please, look up the "Spring Day" explained video....thank you.

First, sorry for the long comment 🙈 in Blood, Sweat and Tears' first seconds you can see Jin looking at a painting, this painting is a work by Pieter Bruegel and it's called "The Fall of the Rebel Angels". And on both sides you can see one arch/gate each, one is dark and the other is in a light colour, they stand for the good and the evil. In one theory Jin is portrayed as "God" or "Abraxas" and he as the "Allmighty" has the duty of taking care of the other members, which are mean to be angels. The main plot is that Jin is torn between good and evil and tries to keep his angels away from the wrong path. But some of them are already lost. When the members are sitting together, you can see 7 chandeliers which stand for all 7 seven of them. But two of the chandeliers are broken. The most important roles are V, Jin and J-hope's. V is an angel who already is on the dark path (kinda like Luzifer), but J-hope is the exact opposite, he is good and believes in the good. Jin is torn between these two. Because of Jin being completely confused and indecisive about on which side he belongs to, the other members are falling for confusion and frivolity. For example RM with absinthe and the fact that Jimin's eyes are covered most of the time. The story dissolves when Jin kisses the statue, which represents the bad and also V. This is the momemt when Jin realises that he can't belong to one side, but that both sides, the good and the bad are a part of him. The whole video is full of symbols, like in the last frame with the mirror and two different flowers. The lily stands for the good but the violet flower stands for the evil. And when Jin looks at the mirror, he sees his "bad" side, which also is a part of him. It's also interesting that when the music stops playing, RM quotes a phrase from Hermann Hesse's book "Demian": "He too was a tempter, he too was a link to the second. The evil world with which I no longer wanted anything to do" This book describes the same plot. There's also a german quote from Nietzsche's book "Thus SpokeZarathustra", which you can read on the wall shortly after Jin's kiss. Roughly translated it says "One must still have chaos in oneself to be able to give birth to a dancing star" This book describes humans leaving "human-being" behind to become "supermen" or "overmen" (ger. "Übermensch"). That means leaving all human temptations behind. So if one still has "chaos" in oneself, he can overcome it and become an "overman". There is so much more about this story and with the BTS videos being connected, the whole story is more complex than one single video.
