The only who died was Jin. And The others are acting reckless and angry because of his death, hence the partying or vandalizing. They're looking for a rush, something to distract them from their pain. The only one who had time to really mourn was Jung Kook. I think the reason him and Suga where fighting was because Jung Kook was trying to console him or help. But Suga was drunk and didn't wanna hear any of it, he just wanted to stay numb. But at the end when they where with the cars. For once, they were all together, having fun. So when Jung Kook looked back, Jin was the one in the car. So he kinda smiled, like telling Jin "We're gonna be okay. You can go" type thing. You could tell that Jin's not really there from the way his scene's are. He's secluded. Also in the final Polaroid picture, he's not there. I think this video is not the prequel but the sequel. Because J-Hope is in the hospital. If you remember from the 'I Need U' Music Video, he passed out on the street cause of the pills he took. So This is my theory lol.

iemiliah 10 Yes but J-Hope's in the hospital. And so is Jimin, Which means someone much have gotten to them before they died. They were both wearing white with pillows which meant they were both emitted. The flowers in "I Need U' meant he was sufficating himself. Yes he opened the blind but he didn't open the window. He just looked outside. In the Prologue V Jumped in the water, which is way he's drowning. But he comes back up at the end. But Jin was the one who jumped in the water at the end of 'I Need U'. At first I thought they all died. But It's clear that the only one who died was Jin. I think he was seeing illusions that made him think he's friends where dead. So he jumped to be with them. In Run, he's not really there, he's a ghost. In my theory, at least.

I think that V didnt survive since well, these MVs were abstract and when V gets up he is in a pitch black space, cant be anything good you know. And yes there is a point your theory, but in my opinion Jhope and Jimin were already dead in these scenes, wearing odd white clothes and being in a asylum type of room. I do think jin kills himself in the prologue video, but these three videos by bts are all kinda parallel to each other. And like at the end of Run, all the other members are walking in a black tunnel,, no light to be seen, only what is supposed to be Jin, coming for to join the "afterlife". Well i do have two theories that i believe, this theory more (by taetaetow) and the other is indeed that only jin is dead, but seeing these abstract videos and meanings, i do think it is the theory nro1!

iemiliah 10 Well that makes sense too. So does the peter pan theory. But Jin being dead makes more sense to me. I feel like some people are reading to much into things. Like someone was trying to find the symbolism is rapmon walking to the train in the first scene. Lol, or when V fell into the water, they were wondering why he fell backwards. The one that makes more sense to me is jin being the only one dead and the other acting like idiots about it. But them going into the after life makes sense as well. I just want them to tell the story. Cause if not it's gonna keep me out.

Yesh your theory is maybe the most sane one out there, when you look only at the mvs and not speculate and try to find symbolism. I think it is just fun and of course if you can see the hints, you might just take them and start to make up theories. I find these theories very interesting, with all the 'evidence' given :) And ye yesyesss i do hope someone someday will offer us their real explanation, please pretty please bighit.....

I think on the chorus part where they say 'Run run run', they are running to save Taehyung from death because they don't want Taehyung to leave them. And you can see before the song ends the lyrics that goes: (RUN) Don't tell me bye bye (RUN) You make me cry cry It seems that the members are telling these words to him. They don't want to lose Taehyung because they already lost Jin. As you know in the 'I need U' mv, Taehyung's reason for his suicide is because he killed his father. But as he jumped of the water, He remembered all his friends and their memories together so he wanted to survive that's why we can saw him struggling to get up on the water at the end. If i am not mistaken this is Taehyung's voice that says "Please guide me. Please stop me. Please let me breath." - This is him saying he wanted to live/survive. Another lyrics: Let's run run run again. It's okay to fall down. Let's run run run again. It's okay to be injured. These are the members saying comforting words to Taehyung. It's like they are saying "it's okay to have a problem we're always here for you." I think their friendship saved Taehyung from drowning. Maybe this MV shows us that suicide is not a solution to a problem because there are many great things in the world. On the end of the song we can see Jungkook smiling. It is the same scene from I need u when he almost got hit by a car after getting beaten up. I think it was Jin. Even though he died, he is still protecting the members. I also think that Jungkook is the only one that accepts that Jin is dead. We can see him fighting with Suga in the Mv. Maybe to snap out from reality. Suga doesn't want to accept that Jin already left. On the Prologue part where Jin ask them to go to the sea, all the members are sad. Maybe it's because they know that Jin is dying. It also explains why he was always recording all the time. He wanted to record all their memories together so when he dies, he will bring all their happy memories. That's why their album is entitled "The most beautiful moment in Life". Jin's most beautiful moment in life is their happy memories.

Okay in the first one the intro was about spring aka adolescence and there were leaves falling every where and in fall the weather changes so its like the changes you go through from being like a little kid to ur teen, young adult years. Puberty… and then in part 2 its butterflies. So that shows that now that you’re older, you end up making your own choices, your own decisions and the butterflies represents those changes that can effect in anyway hence the butterfly effect. Pt.1 is about youth. Pt.1 is about life. The most beautiful moment in life is life itself. Like how butterflies go through metamorphisis. A transition from being a child to a teen/young adult. Pt.2 is about decision making. How your choices can affect you. For example, in whalien, many of us may have read that this song represent feeling like an outcast when you want to speak out and your speaking but no one hears you. When you slowly move into adulthood and you’re not ready, you face challenges like this. People might say maybe you should speak louder or make some sort of change about yourself or who you are but you rather be lonely than be untrue to yourself and you just wait for someone to come along and accept you as you are, for who you are instead of wanting to change you.

My theory: V committed suicide after killing his father. This left the others in pain and agony and each of them were trying to either survive, create a new reality, or decided to end their lives too. In I Need U, it was obvious how most of them died except Jin and Rap Mon. I think Jin tried his best to forgive (lighting the 5 lily petals on fire) and think about only the good memories (capturing happy last moments on his camera), but in doing so, he would keep drifting from the happy memories to the dark reality (you seen him tossing and turning in bed in INU and he always looks kinda lonely or like he's deep in thought about things). Anyways, in this new video, I think that it suggests that all of the boys reunited with each other. When V fell back into the water, that was obviously the moment after he jumped off the pier and for a short while, he was separated from his friends and was alone (he looked like he was drowning w/ his eyes closed before he came up at the end). I think the train has a lot of symbolism tied with Rap Mon. For instance, right as the train passes in the MV, RM is slammed against the police car and V looks at him shocked because he realizes that Rap Mon passed from life to death. In the same way, when RM entered the train, he was greeted by his friends who had already died. The interactions between the other members say a lot too. For instance, JHope was waking from a hospital bed (likely where he was taken after he collapsed from OD). He was greeted by Jimin who had already drowned himself (they were both wearing white and they fell into the white feathers together, almost like clouds of heaven). As for Kookie/Suga interaction, I think that right after Kookie got ran over, his soul rushed to Suga to try to stop him from burning himself up. That's why it was so emotional, but Suga didn't listen because he was too angry and pained about losing his friend, so he did it anyways and Kookie felt like he failed. Near the end of the video when they all met in the field, you could see a bit of sadness on their faces, because "wasted youth" (which was written on the walls in this video) is a sad thing, but they realized that at least they made the best of their youth and had fun. The last member to join them was Jin. At the end, you see all the members walking into the dark tunnel except Jin, but Kookie looks back to the truck that Jin drives, and Kookie smiled ("We can smile when we're together" was quoted in Prologue). After they were all reunited, V comes out of the water, because he no longer is separated from his friends. They are rebirthed.

Make sure you guys check out the dance version when it comes out!!! I'm in korea at the moment, and saw them perform this song in concert. The dance is also killer as always! Okay so after re-watching the prologue and "i need u" a million times, I've finally come up with my version of what happened. lol. Don't know if it's right or not, but here's my theory anyways...(the short version... lol. I have definitely stewed over it the last few days) I think V either accidentally killed, or at least blames himself for Jin's death. Then feeling guilty, committed suicide, or attempted to, before the others stopped him. Reason being, Jin is always taking the photos but never in them, therefore i'm assuming he is a ghost. Also V is seen walking into a couple fighting, and immediately hits the guy, and we are then not shown the aftermath of that encounter. We also see V in the beginning of the prologue covered in blood. Then immediately after calling his "hyung." In "run," V is the one who outlines Jin's body on the wall, then makes an X with the spray paint over Jin. V is also being chased by the police.. The rest of the members are now dealing with the death of one or both of their friends, and thinking back to how V was acting when they were hanging out together before he possible killed himself. Constantly playing back thoughts, and memories, and what they could have done to prevent it. They are now also considering suicide, and/or going through depressing issues. (the butterfly effect) I think Jungkook and Suga have either a closer bond, or a relationship, and their friend committing suicide has led to them fighting and possibly they broke up (based on the beginning of "i need u" Jungkook is crying and Suga is in a bedroom by himself. Also maybe Jungkook witnessed either the murder or suicide, and Suga blames him for not being able to stop it. (based on his staring while the others are partying, and the look at the light at the end of this MV) J-hope i think was using drugs to cope, and then ended up in the hospital for drug use. Then switch back to "i need u" and his friends are helping him get over his addiction by throwing them in the fire. Jimin's storyline is the one that confuses me a little. He also has a weird way of appearing and disappearing as well, but i don't know if he's also dead or not. He is usually seen supporting J-hope in some way( for example he is seen in J-hope's hospital room before being hit by the pillow.), but then all of his scenes he is alone and in a bathtub. He is also seen looking up to the sky. So not quite sure for him. Maybe he is terminally ill and dying or something? so he's trying to appreciate their time together? dunno. I think that would be a little too much to add in, and there's not enough evidence to support that at all. Jimin I am not sure about. Or any of this theory really. Just a guess. lol. Sorry for the long post. I totally agree!! I hope Bighit explains everything. Maybe through another music video showing the story in chronological order or something? Because all these theories are eating me alive! lol. I NEED to know the answers!!

What if JIn was alive this whole time. However, when he fell in the water at the beginning of the MV it was him dying, and the whole MV was him finally being reunited with the member's. And when he had emerged from the water at the end, he had come back. So the ending at the end when Jimin burned the picture, he was finally accepting the fact that he was dead, and when Jin was not in the picture JImin accepted that, he accepted that he was dead, and that it would be a while before JIn found his way back to them. HE accepted everything that had happened. Kookie was the only one who fully accepted the fact that he was dead from the moment he past. The other members didn't. So when it came to Suga who was so caught up in having fun and not realizing, Suga was fighting Kookie, which Kookie finally had to do something to get Suga to listen, then he punched him. However, after kookie was thrown, he then had "reality" truly hit. Which is why the camera zoomed in on him, then everyone was gone when it zoomed out. Because in that split moment, everyone was gone. And the rest of the members had this moment. J-Hope with him in the hospital bed, he awoke with Jimin there. Then he was with the rest of the members, but then it comes back to him, and JImin is no longer there. Because in this instant moment, everyone is gone and the member accepted that they are dead. With Rap Mon it was almost as if he knew where to go, and then he picked up the card in the train cart, and on it was a butterfly. Obviously the butterfly effect. But when he picked it up, it was like it was saying your card has been drawn. It's your turn to come and join us, because there was pillow feathers all over the cart floor, when the rest of the members were having a pillow fight. Then we don't see Rap mon anymore. Then in the tunnel, none of the cars were reacting to the boys damaging their cars. What if something else was happening in the tunnel then what we were singing. And we the viewers was seeing what they see, they were doing these things in the spiritual world, but in reality, the people in the cars were seeing nothing. I know this is scattered, but hear me out. What if in the prologue, V had died, but Rap Mon was just remembering a moment that him and V spent together. Or they were caught in spiritual world doing that. Or something else that I had thought of, it that when they cross over, the person that had died previously before them, was the one to greet them. So the first one to die, would greet the next one to come and so forth. Scattered I know, just hear me. With V being in the water, he was fighting, because maybe when JIn fell in the water, that's where V was going to meet him or something of the sorts. However, at the end when V finally stopped fighting, that's when Jin came to Earth. And V turned to look back to say goodbye until the right time. The same scenario with Kookie, he looked back to JIn who was in the truck, to tell him that he's going to be missed in the time that he was there with them. But to always remember them, and that they will always be with him until it is his time to come be with them. To always keep them in his heart. But in the song, they don't want the people they love to leave them, they don't want JIn to leave just yet, But because it's not he right time, he left. And it was the rest of BTS's destiny to leave, so that in the time they were here, they left their mark. And to teach the world that pain can go unnoticed, and to tell JIn that because of this tragedy, Jin must help the world, so that this never happens again. They released the video in order, there was nothing that was out of order. Except that they left a mystery, and we had to figure it out. But I think what happened in BTS I Need U Orig. Version the pain began with one member, then that member could not take this world anymore, then from there it started a chain reaction. And in the Prologue, the members except for Jin and V and Rap Mon were dead. However, they were still able to connect and interact with the last three. So to end it all, Jin was alive this whole time, Rap Mon was the last to go before JIn. They Run because they are finally free, and that's all they know how to do. Even when they are free, they have been running for so long, that now instead of running from their problems, they run to live after so long. So, sorry for such a long comment, but I still didn't cover all the points I wanted to. So I might make a Vid. Thank you for watching, I LOVE YOU BTS!!!!! BUT WHY DO YOU MAKE ME THINK!!!

This interpretation fans Korea 'I need you', 'on-stage prologue', 'RUN' is interpreted all together. This post is a translation from Korean to English. Okay so in the video Suga is drunk and Jungkook seems emotional over something and trying to contain and hold Suga. I believe this video shows the fun times they all had together with Jin. Jungkook punched Suga because he was drinking to sooth his emotions over the fact that Jin died. Suga threw a chair at the mirror and the instant the mirror shattered, Jin's house of cards fell apart which to me means the death of Jin. Jin was enjoying himself and then he made a shocked face which tells me that he realizes that he is dead and these are his memories. Even after all the credits when Jimin burns the picture it shows he feels so much grief he can't even bare looking at the picture. Kookie turns around and smiles but if you notice as the 6 of them are walking up the street one person is missing which is Jin. As you can see tho headlights are behind them and kookie turns around and smiles because it's like Jin is still watching over them. Everyone else who "died" didn't really die, they all showed signs of some type of survival except for one person Jin. Prologue was Jin's memories with everyone, Run is the memories they have with Jin, just being able to have fun and be youthful. That's the meaning of "No Regrets" in my opinion. They regret nothing even though they lost a friend they don't regret the memories or even moments leading up to his death.

Jon is the one dead, Not the other members. Facts: Fact 1: In the mv of I Need U (Japanese Version) at the end where you see a Butterfly fly to the light above Jin is his soul going to Heaven. Fact 2: In the Prologue video at the end where Jin looks at the pic of him and Suga (Who is not in the pic) He realizes that he's not alive and is in his own Heaven. Fact 3: When Jungkook looks back at the truck, You can see in the background that there is only 5 members. Fact 4: After the credits end, When Jimin looks at the pic in the tub, You can see that Jin (Who is suppose to be on the left) is missing. So, There ya go. You can believe me or not, but it's the truth. Jin is the only one dead and in Run he is watching over them. Oh... Wait a minute... I got another Fact. Fact 5: The part on Run where Jin gets an X sprayed on his upper body means that he is no longer with his friends anymore in REALITY.

내 생각엔...진이 혼자서 살아남은거 같아요. 나머지 멤버들은 아니쥬 뮤비에서 보다 싶이, 사고를 당하거나 자살을 했서 이미 죽었고. 진이 보고있는 멤버들은 환각의 피조물 혹은 꿈 속. 둘다인거 같아요 추측건데 진이 마약을 하지 않았을까 하는 생각도 들어요. 하지만 어떤 사람은 진이 자살시도를 했지만 혼수상태에 빠져있는 상태라고도 하더군요. 죽은것도 아니고 살은 것도 아닌. 그 중간의 경계에서, 이미 죽은 멤버들을 만나고, 멤버들과 함께 있을땐 행복하니까 진은 깨어나려는 의지없이 끝없이 그 환상속에서 배회하는. 하지만 멤버들은 끊임없이 진이 깨어나기를. 살아나기를 바라는 거 같다고 하더라구요 근데 저는 이 이론도 굉장히 신빙성 있다고 생각해요. 왜냐하면, 실제로 멤버들은 진에게 계속해서 자극을 주고 있는거 같거든요. 넌 여기 있으면 안돼. 살아야돼 하는 것 같은 그런 메세지를 예를 들어, 프롤로그 영상에서는 랩 몬스터가 창문에 살아남아야 한다, 라고 적었고. 이번 런 뮤비에서는 브이가 진이 쌓아 올린 카드를 쳐냈으며, 진을 벽에 몰아세워놓고 장난같아 보이지만, 빨간 스프레이로 진의 티셔츠에 엑스자를 크게 그리죠. 또 런 뮤직비디오 마지막 장면도 자세히 보면요. 진은 트럭에서 내리지 않았어요. 그리고 그런 진을 정국은 빤히 바라보다가 살풋 윙크를 하고 웃죠. 마치, 빨리 돌아가요 형. 깨어나요. 라고 말하는 것 처럼 너무나도 애처롭게요. 왜 진은 트럭에서 내리지 않았으며, 정국은 그런 진을 빤히 바라보다 웃은걸까요. 그리곤 마지막엔 눈을 감는것처럼 화면이 위아래로 닫히면서 끝이나죠. 진은 현실로 돌아갔을까요. 분명한건 진은 살아있는거 같아요. 터널 속에서 깽판을 치는 장면에서, 운전자들은 터널 속에서길을 가로막고 있는 진에게 차 빼라는 소리밖에 하지 않아요. 음료를 뱉고, 스프레이로 창문에 낙서를 하는 멤버들에겐 그 어떤 말도 하질 않잖아요. 상식적으로 봤을때 그 누가, 자기 차에 그런 짓을 하는데 차문 밖으로 단 한명도 나오질 않겠어요.. 어쨌든 분명한건, 진과 태형이를 제외한 나머지 멤버들은 죽은거 같아요. 사실 태형이의 생존 여부도 잘 모르겠어요. 어떤 사람의 이론으론, 태형이와 진은 살아남았고 진은 혼수상태에서 끝없이 꿈속을 배회하며 멤버들과 함께 있고 싶어하고 태형이 또한 프롤로그 영상에서, 형 보고싶어. 라고 하며 멤버들을 만나죠. 하지만 프롤로그 마지막장면에선 바다로 뛰어들어요. 이 행동은 태형이가 꿈에서 깨어나기 위한 행동이라는 말이 있어요 인셉션 영화 보셨는지 모르겠지만 그 영화속에선, 꿈속에서 깨어나기 위해선, 꿈에서 죽어야 하거든요 그래서 주인공들이 물에 뛰어드는 장면들이 많은데, 태형이도 그래서 바다에 뛰어든게 아니냐는 말도 있더라구요. 이 이론또한 신빙성 있는 게.. 프롤로그 영상 끝나면서 마지막에 노래 하나가 깔리죠. 이게 원본영상에는 그 노래가 깔리는데. 지금 떠있는 영상에는 노래가 생략됬다나..? 아무튼 그 노래가 인셉션에서 나오는 ost거든요 그것도 영화속에서 꿈을 깨기위한 수단으로 사용되는 아주 중요한 노래... 그래서 태형이는 현실로 돌아갔다고 저는 생각했는데 이번 런 뮤비를 보고는 조금 의문점을 가졌어요. 태형이도 죽은걸까. 라는 생각이 들더라구요. 이게 제 이론이고 의견입니다. 이라고....영어로 남기고싶다^^................................................... ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

please react to run live stage at mama when possible! it so amazing and i think v first part when he and rapmon are running from cops was given to jin cuz in mama he sings it but thats amazing cuz he really deserves so much more parts esp as of lately cuz he voice has gotten even more amazing which you will see in mama performance. i think they will be coming out with a 19+ mv for run like they did for i need u to explain everything or maybe even an mv for butterfly which i hope for anyways cuz its a gorgeous song i think it may be my favorite song ever by them and thats saying something since i love every one of their songs! anyways my theory is that jin was first to die actually. if you pay close attention everything kinda revolves around jin and what he once did or has done for them. plus at the end in the picture jimin holds it showed jin there by the driver side door then it flashes to current time and he wasnt there. as well as when jungkook looks back there are 6 people there including jungkook and i think the light slowly fading represents jin like jk was telling him they will be okay and its okay to go to the other side. anyways this is ending up a rant i will go now. whatever it may be i just hope we get more answers soon on what this all means and how its connected. one more request though,could you also please react to jyp performance at mama? it was amazing and shocking cuz its very.....sexual. they will keep flashing to the audience and everyones shocked and laughing about what was going on haha

Do a listen to their album when you get time too and I think Jin is died. The members are grieving by drinking and committing a crime and I think Jungkook is the only to accept Jin's death. I just wish BigHit can just tell us the whole story like they are playing games with us and confusing us.They making me think so much.

I've read so many theories about "Run" that at this point, I'm like... damn just STOP. People are reading way into deep with the video's actual meaning. Honestly I think it's more about the failures and mistakes that one makes in their life, and BTS is expressing that it's okay to fail, and that's not the end of the world because you mess up. Life is full of disappointments, but you have to make the best of the situation at hand and pour out your emotions so you can begin anew. It's about reinventing yourself. To be honest, I personally feel like Big Hit should have a mini webseries based off the entire album because it's that good, pt 1 & 2. BTS can all make their acting debuts and give us all the full back story that leads to the events of Run. I think if they do that the story itself could be better told. At least 10-12 webisodes The Most Beautiful Moment in Life can be fully explained in detail. It'd be just as big of a hit as EXO Next Door was.

************** IT IS VERY LONG*********************************** (WHAT I NOTICED in all three videos V is always doing something odd. i need you original- kills the guy prologue- jumps off the thing run- he is seen drowning just my opinion but I think V was the the first one to die then the rest. Jin is alive and is hallucinating on meds (seen in a teaser pic) because he is all alone. if you rewatch the MV when he is driving the truck in THE EVERYONE USED THAT TUNNEL part the cars are honking while the boys are vandalizing property. Its as if the boys are not really there. Who in their right mind would just sit there and let someone tag your ride. Yes, my point exactly. It his imagination. ) --The next part I found and it is what made the most sense to me aside from the death and MV things. Also maybe something RM would say. -------* ----------*in order to interpet this MV, we need to address the general theme of this song which is about youth and about running as hard, chasing after your own form of happiness and enjoying your youth which is 'The Most Beautiful Moment in Life'. In the first scene, we see V submerging himself in water (which is a continuation from when he jumped in the Prologue). Why do people want to commit suicide? They want to ESCAPE. They want to be in a happier place where they can't feel the overwhelming burden of this world. When he submerged himself in water, he went into a dream (a dream meaning it's not real but it's what he wants to happen...a happier place for him). The next few scenes is HIS dream. Now the next few scenes after is just the boys enjoying themselves as hard as they can, running after their own form of happiness with abandon and enjoying their youth (which is exactly what the song meant). You can see scenes where V was flailing in the water...like he's finally waking up in that dream. Next you see his eyes wide open...signifying that he finally woke up. And then at the very last scene...he emerged from the water, like he finally wants to face reality. What's my basis? 'Dream' was mentioned a couple of times in the song. There's even this line 'but at any moment I'll awaken from this dream'. Maybe we're not talking about a literal dream. We're talking about the youth always tries to ESCAPE reality...(in this video...partying hard, vandalizing the walls, messing with people in cars without regard of this consequences)...and this is exactly what the Most Beautiful Moment in Life is. 'Butterfly' is a song about how things are like butterflies that flies away and passes away so quickly...which is symbolic of youth (ok only giving a simple interpretation of a song loaded with a lot meanings). And House of Cards...these are the lyrics: a house made of cards, and us inside even if you say you see the end, even if you say it'll collapse soon a house made of cards, and stupidly, us even if you say it's a useless dream, just stay a little more like this Everything they have been doing in the MV...running and running without a destination, chasing their own happiness without knowing the consequences, enjoying a youth that is short-lived and useless because it has no bearing in the reality of adult life. But again, their main message in this album comes from the title of their comeback photos...Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien. Even if it's a useless dream, I ran after my dream, my happiness...so I have no regrets. Guess what...this is a line of thinking that comes exactly from Rapmon...he used to say it a lot like in their Bangtan logs and stuff. Guys...please interpret the MV in the same context as (1) their concept about youth. (2) their comeback photos Non, je ne regrette rien and Pappillion, (3) the meaning of RUN and the rest of the songs in their album. Who cares about who's dying or not...please watch the video with its general themes and message in mind because that's what makes it beautiful.
