This was in the beginning before the world knew about BTS. First of all, they are all so young here, especially Jungkook. Their exposure to opposite sex was probably limited to a few dates or school crushes.... and that's before they became idols. Now after debuting, there is such a thing as a contract which included a dating ban and further restrictions on interaction with girls. Take those facts and add in the mix a very conservative culture that frowns upon PDA between man and a woman and you get awkward but hilarious reactions from the boys. The reason that they are shy or awkward around girls is because they're scared. They have no idea how to behave due to lack of experience. Plus, there's also the fear of "what would the management say? I could be reprimanded for just taking to a girl". So before BTS became seven confident sex symbols that are still shy around the girls, we had seven teens who had to keep their raging hormones in control under pressure. That's what makes this a very funny prank.
