"I want to erase that day of performance" is the concert in Kobe in 2015, which was cancelled. He couldn't perform because of panic attack, after that he had a short break and later he wrote a letter on fancafe for ARMY, revealing his feelings. It is very open and has a lot of information that helps to understand him. Here is a translation: Hello, this is Suga. Many people were curious as to what I was doing on my break, and to simply put it, I walked a lot, slept a lot and thought a lot. I wanted to go on a trip to organize my thoughts before working on my mixtape. I also had a place I must go to. I wanted to do things I was able to do not as a 24-year old BTS’ Suga, but as a 24-year old Min Yoongi. It was a time where I looked back at myself. The things I will say now are things I wanted to share not as a singer to a fan or as BTS to ARMY, but to talk to you as human to human. I've always wanted to be a cool person to a lot of people. Having rationale thoughts and making rationale decisions in any situations. I wanted to live like my father. My father said to take a look around you when there's something to be happy about. Be calm and make rationale decisions when happy. The first day when "I need u" got 1st place, I took a look at my surroundings. Every minute I'm happy, I acted as if I'm not. When I'm sad I acted as if I'm not. Even if I like it, I acted as if I don't like it. I pretended to be cold-hearted and pretended to be strong. If a joy is shared, it will be doubled but if a sadness is shared, it won't get smaller. That's what I thought. I know I'm a person who's bad at expressing my emotions but I've been living that way and I thought it's right. One day, I can't exactly remember when, I was in a car with my father and he said "Yoongi, don't live like me". The first day of vacation. The first day ever since I was born, I drank with my family. It has been 6 years since I left home. We were all just chatting, listening to stories that we haven't heard of. The strong and cool father that I know, knows how to feel hurt and sad, how to feel happy and love.. 1.5-pyeong in the practice room, my studio is my wide meadows and narrow prison. I can do anything and at the same time, I can't really do anything. I can work on music thoughtlessly for 20 hours, but I can also sit there and not do anything but just thinking for 20 hours. I was 13 years old when I first started writing my own lyrics. When I listen to good music, I will feel really excited and I feel really happy more than anything. To me, music is my hope and my happiness, I also want to be someone's hope and happiness. Actually I'm someone who would just walk away rather to crash and feel pain. Anyone hates being hurt and I don't want to get hurt. In "Nevermind", "If you feel like you a going to crash then accelerate more". Perharps, that's actually what I wanted to say to myself. The most upsetting time for me when I face a large number of people, is when I face myself who isn’t able to be fair to everyone. I didn’t want to hurt anyone, but there are times I couldn’t do that. I think I’m still a person that lacks in many things. The second day of the concert in Kobe... I don’t think I’ve ever slept deeply after that day. Could it be because of the fact that I gave a wound to many people? Whenever I fell asleep, I would wake up with cold sweat. Because I already once have not been able to go on stage before and have hurt many people, I said that I’ll go up (to perform) no matter what situation arises. Everyone tried to stop me. I really cried a ton at the situation of not being able to go up on stage. And I know crying is losing. It’s really easy for me to cope with my own sorrow, but witnessing those who love me in sadness is very hard. I made them sad, once again. If I could go back to that day, I would go on stage no matter what. So there was just one place to go. I went to Kobe during my break. Many people tried to stop me from going, but I didn’t want to be ashamed of myself any longer. So I just went to Kobe without planning. It was my second time visiting the concert venue after a concert. The first was Ax Hall at late night after finishing the first Red Bullet concert. The second time was the Kobe World Memorial Hall, at where I failed to perform. I hate becoming a numb person. I didn’t want to take the love and these glorious days for granted. I didn’t want to be a numb person. That’s why I visited the venues again on my own. (T/N: He’s saying he doesn’t want to take all the love he’s receiving as granted, he really wants to appreciate every single love he gets. He’s meaning numb in the way by how he wouldn’t be able to feel what the fans feel about him. He’s basically saying he wants to appreciate every love he gets from his fans) I liked being on stage, and I still do. When I was 17 and performed in front of 2 people I stood proudly and made eye contact with them during my performance. However after my debut I feel that I have not been righteous towards myself. I think it may be because I knew better than anyone that I wasn’t perfect. And then on the day of the first performance of HYYH on stage I made proud eye contact with the audience that I didn’t do in quite a while. But after the second day of the Kobe concert when I was unable to stand on stage, I didn’t have the courage to confidently confront the large number of people. So that’s why I visited Kobe, the concert hall again. I kept wandering around the area by the concert hall from the time I arrived there until the time our performance was due to begin that day. From the ticketing booth to the entrance and the concert hall - I wanted to feel the same emotions as you all from every nook and corner. I felt many emotions. Happiness, the excited nervousness felt while waiting for the performance, sadness, resentment, anger, regret, etc. I wanted to understand you all, and I do understand. So I’m sorry and apologetic, for I am not a perfect human being. I’m a person who is weak but acts strong. Once again I realized that I was a person who’s lacking. Although I’m not religious, I prayed at that place. After all, at the end, it was a fated day. Even if it’s ended, let’s not let this heart become numb. To me, who wanted to spend every moment alone, you all were taking up quite a large part (of my mind). Age and gender, nationality and religion, what language you use - all of that isn’t important to me. "Whether you're young or old, whether you have a hidden child, I don't care", haven't I said this already. That day, we unexpectedly had a Music Bank broadcast and I boarded a plane and returned a day before planned. I returned after organizing my many thoughts. Once again, while feeling that I’m a blessed person, I felt that I need to be a person who lives every moment feeling thankful. This is the moment I realizied the fact that 24-year old Min Yoongi, who hates being an adult, is standing in front of the threshold to being an adult. Thank you for making me a blessed person, ARMY. Although I’m never able to say this because I’m bad at expressing myself. Here I am conveying my feelings and thoughts once more through a piece of less-than-satisfactory writing. I will live while being thankful of every moment as I am such a lacking human being. I love you, ARMY.

The beeped part is kind of the doctor asking "did you try to kill himself" and he said yes. In Asia mainly Korea mental health is not a thing, we dont talk about depression or anxiety in public and consulting a doctor for that is not even a thing. When someone say they are struggling mentally the people think that you are going insane (like getting shock treatment and killing someone or killing himself). For him to come out and honestly say that he is depressed and address all this taboo topic was so brave. Many people who has mental troubles in korea for the first time felt like they were acknowledged and was not alone. I remembered when this song came out lot of korean people was hating him and called him mentally unstable, and some were emotional and thanking him for putting out the song.

The doctors asked me____, I said unhesitatingly that I have done it before." The part that has "bleep" on it, It means that the doctor asked if Suga committed (attempted/has thought of committing) suicide. The part where he mentioned memories about lying on the bathroom floor was a reference for attempting suicide according to k-armys. Suga had the hardest life (pre-debut) out of all the members. At 13, he started writing lyrics and learned MIDI . His first love is his piano or music in general. (He made a song about his piano entitled "First Love") who he described as his only friend when he was a kid. His parents didn't support his passion for music. They were not financially stable and were being practical. They would even throw his lyrics to discourage him but Suga would sneakily continue to do it. "As for me...[my parents] were very much against [me becoming a rapper] to make me reconsider [my choice], they hit [me] and fought, and things like this...so I made music [under those circumstances]. "I had some basic MIDI gear before entering the company, things I'd bought as lyricist after saving up enough money by walking around for 2 hrs everyday and skipping dinners everyday" In his hometown, he used to work as a studio engineer while composing and performing in front of 2- 50 people, ( he was part of the hip-hop group called D-town then where he is one of the youngest). He worked part time at a music studio and was underpaid, sells his songs but often gets scammed (gets away w/o paying) . He said his parents never saw him performed back then. Suga went to Seoul to pursue music at 17. A rural boy who went to Seoul, South Korea's capital city, even if not many could understand his dialect. Imagine pursuing your dream where no one believes in you aside from your older brother. Where everyone told you that if you pursue music, you'll make your family broke. He had only one supporter at that time, his older brother, to whom he would show his songs. When asked if his parents eventually gave him permission to make music and Suga replies "well...before giving me permission, I was already out and about doing music." He struggled at finance in Seoul and admitted that before, he would have to choose between buying a two dollar noodles or using his money to take a bus (he will always choose to starve ). On Wings concept interview, he said that in the past, he had struggled to afford three meals a day. Q: What happened in the past?" "I couldn't eat three meals a day It was hard" "When I was working in the studio, I arranged songs or made beats and even sold them. Then I naturally started to rap and did performances" Q: How much did you earn? " Nothing" Q: You said you were working though. "That’s what it was like to work there. Usually we don’t have any income. Working in the studio, it was difficult to pay for food and transport. In front of the studio, there was a Chinese restaurant that sells Jajangmyeon for 2,000 won, if I walk down further, there was a place that sells Janchi guksu for 1,000 won. I worried about it everyday. If I eat the 1,000 won Janchi guksu, I could get the bus and if I eat the 2,000 won Jajangmyeon, I’d have to walk 2 hours to get home. Even though it was tough, I want to make music so I endured it." Suga/Agust D had nothing except for his skills and confidence. He saw an audition poster (From Bighit company) of a rap competition on which he participated and won 2nd place. On semi-finals, participants were asked to perform to the same beat and write own lyrics but Suga modified the beat, not just wrote the lyrics which made him stood out. He was scouted later on. He was the only member who was already an established producer before becoming part of BTS. His parents couldn't support him in college for they were poor that's why, Suga worked part time jobs as well (at dawn ) while maintaining going to school ( at different times and will end up sleeping most of time because he's tired) and practicing as a trainee (at night). He also used to buy lottery tickets weekly because he was that desperate and hopeless. When he's on college, apart from working as a sound engineer before, he had worked at convenience store, had taught composing and MIDI lessons, and another is that delivery job where he got into an accident (2012 pre-debut) and his shoulder got shattered. He didn't tell anyone, afraid the company will kick him out, that's why his shoulder didn't heal right. This shoulder will be something that he will have to endure for 9 years, later on. He told the members that he just fell down the stairs. Eventually, the company found out about this injury and paid his college tuition and hospital fees. It was surprising considering that the company were facing an almost "bankruptcy" at that time. Suga told the truth about the accident to the members 2018 on "Burn the stage series". It is also where he recalled that the last thing he remembered before the accident was the "wheel" in front of him. It's one of the factors as to why his mental health issues had worsened. "Min Yoongi was dead. (I killed him)" It is music which saved Yoongi and it is also music which Yoongi lives for. (He's been suffering for almost a decade because of that injury that didn't heal right. It even came to a point that it has become a hindrance to his everyday life. He once said in an interview that when he tried to lift a 50ml bottle when they were filming a commercial, his shoulder hurt. ) Suga, undergoing surgery last November, is his decision because he want to be able to continuously perform on stage. BTS dance choreographies are no joke and if you watch them perform, you won't think that Suga has an injury that he was enduring. (Not that BTS have a worst dancer, but we can't deny that Suga dances better than Jin and RM even with old injury and sometimes even better than V, who is part of Dance Line). Suga received injections often when he performs on stage. Had his shoulder dislocated often too. I couldn't imagine how he managed to perform despite of that. If he hadn't talked about it, fans wouldn't know that his old injury was constantly acting up. This is only a part of his hardships. He really had gone through so much shit to get where he is at right now. No wonder he is so independent. Maybe it is why he is so used to carrying his burdens alone. "Bang Pdnim told me I've become much brighter after releasing my mixtape. He even asked me where the incisive person full of wrath from before had gone. It was my complex and the way to solve it was music that I need to make" Agust D is Yoongi's way of healing himself and also healing people who also has struggles and is feeling hopeless. Anyway, half a year later, after their debut (2013), his parents have shown their support to him. Suga was quite a rebel kid, as described by members and he even admitted it himself. He said, he regretted being rebellious towards his parents. Now his parents would always watch all their performances.

idk who told you it wouldnt be allowed. hes NOT restricted. the point of bts members releasing solo work not as albums but as mixtapes, solo songs etc is because they dont want the pressure of watching how it does on charts. they wanna just release the music. Suga has said this as well in a interview. their solo music is another side to them as well as something that doesnt need to be perfect. what i mean by perfect is you draw a tree twice once for fun another to submit for a art show you put the same effort and passion into both but one has more pressure because you may get one shown in a art show. thats how they approach their music group is STILL them their real selves their passion is in their group music AND solo music. but theres some pressure for the album to do well. for solo music they can just randomly release it and it wont have as much pressure for it to do well because its not put on the same charts. hope this makes you understand. bts are not held back at all they are allowed to do so much a lot more than most artists not talking about only kpop or korean artists im talking artists period. dont ever question bts creative freedom or think they cant do what they want theyre grown men who have control over their careers and too many people play into some helpless controlled narrative because they dont actually pay attention to what the members say. sorry for ranting but some people love to victimize the members and make them seem a certain way because theyre korean/ used to be part of the kpop industry.

the part where he talks about crushing his shoulder during his delivery job: he BARELY got surgery to fix his shoulder last year in november, and so he was not in a lot of activites with bts until about february this year. here’s the breakdown of what happened: in 2012, yoongi got into a bad accident in which he crashed into a vehicle while making deliveries for his job. he basically shattered his shoulder, and at the time he was a trainee under bighit (bts debuted in 2013). he was scared that bighit would fire him, so he did not tell anyone of his injury and when asked as to why he didnt move his shoulder too much, he’d just say he fell down some stairs and bruised his arm. i believe about a month after, the pain became unbearable for him so he had to tell his company and they promised to pay for his college tuition so he can afford to get his injury checked out. because he spent so long not checking up on his shoulder, he got permanent damage in his shoulder where he’d get random pains every single day for the next seven years. in 2019, bighit released they statement saying that yoongi was diagnosed with a posterior lateral tear on his left shoulder which basically meant the cartilage around his shoulder joint was finally torn completely, and that they asked the fans to be patient with him. then in november of the following year, yoongi and bighit came to the agreement of finally commencing with surgery as he was in the most pain of not even being able to lift his arm up anymore. yoongi is now in rehab and was set to finish it in may of this year, so he is better now and says his arm finally doesn’t hurt anymore. he’s very strong!!!

You mentioned Yoongi being restricted and i just wanted to clarify that it's not BIGHIT that is restricting them, it's just korean society in general. Bighit is very lenient and allows them to do pretty much whatever but they have to be cautious sometimes. For instance with swearing, you'll notice BTS's songs (especially the main singles) don't usually have swearing in them (that's not a hidden adlib) because then the songs won't be played on music shows and radio etc (see BTS - ON suga's verse) which is why as AGUSTD he is less limited and more raw but still no direct mention of suicide etc.

You know kpop artists are called "idols" means the person everyone want and everybody want to be, the picture perfect person. Suga here was destroying all that notion, and telling everyone he is just a mere human like everybody else and is not perfect. He was so honest even though he recieved lot of backlash. Showing his imperfect side to the people, he became more of a approachable figure rather than the role model, he made people connect to him rather than looking up to him. Later on other BTS members also started talking about their own problems in public, but Suga remain the most raw and honest one. This is one of the reason lot of people love bts, because they are relatable in a personal level, just like any other human

Yes, Jimin does have his own story of how he became comfortable with himself now. He doesn't produce or compose as well as the 3 rappers, but he has tried his best to convey where he can. He wrote the lyrics to Lie (his solo in the Wings album) which he mentioned was a story of how he used to lie to himself, and the most recent was a single he put up on Soundcloud called Promise. Promise was his first song that he fully produced and wrote. It's a beautiful song about a promise he makes to himself. In fact he's talking to himself in the song.

@@emi455 They didnt "finally" support him. He said himself they were only against it for about 6 months. They fought, and unless the translations are incorrect, they (his father I think) hit him and yes they threw away his lyrics when he was younger, because they didnt want him to live a life in poverty, and instead get a safe, stable government type job. His mother has been to ALL their concerts in Korea. But there is a difference... A kid saying he want to make music for a living is a dream... And yeah, most parents would tell their kids to have realistic dreams, this wasnt a realistic dream in their minds... But he was accepted into BH as a trainee... Hitman Bang is a VERY well known producer in Korean.. This big producer accepted their son as a trainee for a group, and as a producer... Suddenly its not just a kids dream, there is obviously something there for him to be accepted... He broke down and cried on stage when his parents and older brother were at a concert and he gave a full bow to them

As someone that suffered depression for many years I connected with YoonGi real quick when I got into BTS, I think it must have been super hard for him to be alone, be an introvert and deal with what was happening so when I see him grow and hit a new milestone as a group with BTS and as a solo artist it feels me with pride and love. He is a real inspiration to many. I am glad he was able to reach the level of success he has achieve.

I am an introverted and suffer from depression as well. When I look at Yoongi I feel so much pain for him. He spends so much time in his own mind that comparisons are impossible to avoid. I wish he would stay on therapy, I don’t know if his going by the way. But if he is able to free himself from his intelligent and analytical mind at key times, only then he can truly be happy.

The one thing that strikes me, is that the song is his journey through his depression and anger. The start he was bitter, angry, but slowly he realizes that its within him and that he needs to defeat the demon within himself. His parents support him, hes not so much who am I (suga, min yoongi, agust d) anymore, hes kind of settled into what he is nowadays. Ive struggled with depression myself and the cycles of bitterness, anger, sandess, the void of feeling nothing, and then feeling everything.. I know what that feells like and this is the song that changed my mind on BTS completely. Each member has a song like this.

"As for me...[my parents] were very much against [me becoming a rapper] to make me reconsider [my choice], they hit [me] and fought, and things like this...so I made music [under those circumstances" His parents didn't support his passion for music in the beginning. They were not financially stable and were being practical. They would even throw his lyrics to discourage him but Suga would sneakily continue to do it. When asked if his parents eventually gave him permission to make music and Suga replies "well...before giving me permission, I was already out and about doing music." Yoongi admitted himself that he was quite a rebel when he was young. He regretted that. He loves his parents very much and his parents are the same too but when you are young and you belong to a poor family, pursuing music is not exactly the ideal.

Thanks for doing this. Great thoughts on it. I don't think it was the debut, I think his parents showed up sometime after they became successful. I've seen the video where he saw them and dropped to his knees and put his face on the stage sobbing. Our angel Jimin was comforting him and it took him a bit to collect himself. J-Hope had a similar reaction when his father came to a show. His mother was always supportive. For context Show Me the Money is a competition type TV show that underground rappers go on, the same ones that trashed him for becoming an idol. So it's not that he couldn't do it, he was telling them he didn't have to. Love your reactions!

Jimin’s story is one of finding his own identity and being comfortable with himself. He had a lot of body issues and struggle in the past, as well as the self doubt of his own talent and passion. The songs he puts out however although not being a producer like the rap line show more of his own discovery and feelings. He has Lie and Filter that show aspects of his self identity and Promise where we see a song where he talks to himself in

Whoa... I feel like I never heard the scream in the background until you pointed it out. I listen to this song whenever I get frustrated, and I would think to myself: I'll let Yoongi do the screaming for me (through the rawness in his voice). I didn't realize there was literal screaming in the background, but I must have registered it subconsciously. Btw, how amazing is it to be able to express yourself in the recording studio like that. Blows me away. Plus, I love the production/instrumentation. This song feels cathartic for him and I think it's a real gem (this coming from someone who never vibed with or listened to rap before BTS).

This song is so personal and intense. I remember when I first heard it, it was devastating. I know the numbness, the pain, the overwhelming self hatred, the anger, the depression. Agust D is what pulled me out of the numbness last fall. Yes, I'm feeling the pain again, but it is so much better than being numb, being dead inside, and slowly fading away. I will be forever thankful to Min Yoongi, his music, and his willingness to be open and vulnerable. I hadn't seen his letter, so now I'm sobbing like a fool.

We believe the part where it just beeps when the psychiatrist asks him a question, that he is asking if he has suicidal thoughts. In Korea it is a huge stigma to talk about mental health let alone suicidal thoughts. Korea has one of the highly suicide rates especially for people teens-young adults. So him writing about this was very brave. Another personal song from him is First Love. He talks to his first love then during the song he switched roles and has his first love talk to him then switches back. Solo song from Jin I recommend Awake. Especially at the beginning of his career he was told that he was the least talented in BTS. When he joined BTS he had to learn how to dance and sing from not knowing anything. He kind of talks about his feels about his peers being so talented and how he supports them while he accepts that he might not be as good or has to try ten times hard, or might have to take longer to get where their at, or him may never get to their level, because it doesn’t come as naturally to him. (Side note: he is one of my favorite BTS singers because every time he sings I can feel his emotions and his voice is amazing)

These are only few of hardships Agust D had gone through to reach the top (because he's very private and only opens up in music): There was the surgery his mom had when she gave birth to Suga (It was implied on one of their songs called "Move" ) that's why Suga lived with his grandma first.. and Suga's surgery on his ear (not severe) and another "emergency" surgery ..it's when his appendix had burst. He did it again. He acted like he was fine, and if he hadn't fainted, he would have had performed with bursted organs. They were in Japan then and he got on an airplane to get surgery on Korea. I remember that many were surprised how he managed to withstood the pain as his condition is urgent yet he took a plane to get to Korea from Japan for a surgery. Pisces are highly intuitive and emotional. Suga is stoic, he is really good at hiding his pain. He used to shut off his emotions and had the tendency to bottle his feelings. As RM once said, Yoongi is the type to hold grudges. Members say that Yoongi might seem insensitive and fierce but he is actually one of the most caring. "He pretends he doesn't care but the truth is, he wants to be loved" (RM) One interview, RM used to say that he used to be sad because Suga don't say anything about himself (doesn't talk much) but he's glad that recently Suga has been opening up to them little by little. He has softened up now and is less guarded. He improved a lot. It is due to BTS members who care and love him a lot. He has a reserved attitude probably because he had gone through a lot of shit and often comes off as cold and but he's actually kind and warm and can also be cute and goofy. Yoongi's biggest fear is being misunderstood. He has social anxiety, OCD, ADHD (He didn't specify it but I think he has Inattentive ADHD bc he zones out a lot) and had suffered from Depression. You should check out all his songs in his first mixtape. It was self-produced. He was also the composer and the songwriter. It is the best way to get to know Suga and his life. He opened up about his OCD, social anxiety, depression and suicidal thoughts. His second mixtape is interconnected with his first one. His mixtape are like his journal. Fans recognize Suga for his diss tracks but Suga has many many songs not just diss tracks. He writes many comfort songs.

I have a deep love for Yoongi's music. And this one definitely played a part in that. IMO, Yoongi just rides this sweet spot of lyricism and delivery. While his lyrics are awesome, its really his emotional delivery that sets him apart. All members experienced so much difficulties in their lives before they became a BTS member, but I'm gonna say to you right now that SUGA experienced the most Hardships! RM came from underground Rap background which his parents acatully didn't like, at some points his mom tried to break his computer so he can focus on his studies! Suga's hardships is the one that I can't explain because there's so many which is very sensitive! Jin comes from a wealthy family because of his father but according to Jin, many of his mother's friends always bragging them down which is his mother can't do anuthing but just to listen so he had a dream that he should make his parents proud! Jhope was not supported by his father before, he said he loves dancing so much that he didn't study, he came to Seoul (South Korea's capital) just living to survive while auditioning! Jimin was a contemporary top student, he is the last member of BTS he only trained for 6months which is back then it's difficult for him to join the group because he trained in just a small time, after debuting Jimin is one of the most hated idol, if you search it on Google Jimin was one of the top! Taehyung (V) came from a poor family, he grew up with his grandmother which makes him innocent from the world, he said when he came to Seoul a lot of things he saw for the first time, he also said when he is about to came to seoul his mother gave him a nice jacket and a broke cellphone so he would look decent and no one would look down on him! Jungkook is the youngest which is very hard for him to adjust because at a young age he already started working just to help his family! Every member has experienced harships but really Suga had experienced the most!

This is one of my favorite songs, and it really helped me a lot. Yoongi putting out this song required immense bravery, mental health in Asia is taboo. If you say you need therapy it means you are an unstable, crazy person. Yoongi got both a lot of hate and praise for releasing this song. He's been fighting to make mental illness visible all his career. From Jimin's solos, his first solo Lie is one of the most personal to him, he wrote the lyrics and helped with production. Lie is an almost eery song.

I think his consternation was less about his actually being an idol and that that was preventing him from doing what he wanted to do than the fact that being an idol was replete with social stigmas including a general belief that idol music was not real music, basically a corporately contrived show aimed at the female pocketbook. Ultimately, while certainly overwhelming us with the honesty of his story, he does say my address is idol and this I will not deny. He wants us to know the negative opinions of others are no longer a major influence on his sense of himself. The mixtape he created with songs such as Agust D, Give it to Me, Tony Montana, and indeed The Last all show he could express himself despite being an idol at Big Hit as did his fellow member RM"s mixtape. So I think he, RM, and indeed all the BTS members ultimately evolve strongly toward the idea of self-love and not defining oneself by the constraining opinions of others, even if the struggle to get there is psychologically difficult. P.S. The Cypher series was on BTS albums so Big Hit was willing to monetized some non-classic idol styled material including at concerts.

I DON'T KNOW if you Read the part that said about his accident, he had his shoulder crushed because of his delivery work and he didn't tell anyone until later on in his career, he had so much pain while dancing in 7 years, but he decided to have surgery last year and he is already much better, I am very glad that he has not decided to continue with his pain, after the online concert that BTS did last year, ARMY noticed that he did not move his arm when he was dancing and that he wore a kind of elastic band around his shoulder, after this he decided to have the surgery since he reached the point where he could not move his arm from the pain and that he has been 7 years old with that pain is super sad but also super strong of his part, and in one of his recently Vlive of BTS he showed that he could move his arm very well and the Army are very happy 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 I PURPLE YOU (sorry for my English)

OMG Thank you! The is my absolute favorite AGUST D track and honestly I dont think it gets hyped enough for the message and the truth. It makes your heart hurt and you feel pride for the man who overcame it- for ANYONE who overcomes.

A few years back there was an art installation in my city that was a screaming booth. After a particularly rough day I went over to it for a good 10 minutes....it was quite cathartic and healing. Also, thanks for this great reaction, it is one of my absolute favourites from him.

I've listened to this song only a few times. I don't know why I did it again. I end up crying for hours. It triggers memories of things I regret and I want to forget when I was at my lowest and so hurt. I was just in some kind of depression after a very hard breakup and before realizing it I lost a few friends, they just couldn't accept that i"ve changed they didn't like that I was in depression. During this time my father died and I'm still blaming myself that I spend the last year and a half I had with him being in my own sad world and didn't care so much about my surrounding. I don't know why I shared all this I guess it's just easier online with people I don't know. So thank you for listening.

You know Mimi... I do the same... It's easier to share my thoughts and story In this platform.. Cause they don't know me... I'm introvert too. Just like Yoongi... So it's so difficult for me to tell people around me what I have been through.. Since I'm mature in early age... I know everything about what right and wrong.. Because of the disaster I been through... I never trust anyone... For me the one who praise me is my enemies.. Cause behind the smile is evil thoughts that nobody can see.. Even if I'm screaming for someone to understand and help me.. No body will come or hear it. So I decided to save me.. Save my own self.. But after I discovered BTS... I want to learned to trust... I want to give my self and people around me a chance.. So i can smile tomorrow 😇💜

Yoongi aka AgustD aka Suga is my all time fav rapper in the entire music industry. This song is one I never skip on my play list as it's my fav by him and one I can truly relate to. What I love about this song in particular is the way he raps it's so full of emotion and you can clearly ear that when he raps also what he talks about in his lyrics are so personal but he isn't afraid to share them. also you can clearly hear the vstory of his life behind what he is saying. So what I'm saying is the lyrics are just so meaning full and they are basically saying by ypur not alone so you don't have to suffer alone. I suffer from depression just like him and this song brings me comfort in a way that I can't really explain but let's just say because of this song I know I'm not alone and that u can survive

Thanks for reaction. Suga words....truth emotions. I'm very Happy and Touched, that You are listening more songs SUGA/August D. and..You understand so well why such a lyrics. For me... Yoon Gi...My Best Rapper, Songwriter and Producer. Best Person, with Good Heart and Soul. I Hope. Your Parents now... I'm Sure. They are Proud. This concert... Maybe..than..canceled Their show. Lots of Fans, but They could't perform. I still don't know exactly why. Maybe when some of Them were hospitalized.... Probably from overwork, because of diets and more... Maybe when...They were threatened with death... Maybe actually when They made Their Debut, with luck, because someone fell out of place... Concerts with Parents... Very Emotional and Beautiful Moments. I always cry when I see it. Yoon Gi crying and looking for His Parents in the audience. Next He is kneeling the stage and bowing to Them. With Love and Respect. Very Important, Special moment for Us. I think.. We (BTS, Real Family and ARMY) all cried than. and Even now, I as write about it, I'm touched... So... SUGA, Thanks for being with Us. and of course. Watch and Listen more songs. Especially solo songs. Albums, Mixtapes and special song for Us, on SoundCloud and Thank You for Your interesting and wise insights. I Hope... See You Soon. BTS Forever:) and I Purple U All. Be Safe Everyone.

omg I love what you were saying about speed and life. There's a song from BTS call Paradise (if I'm not wrong the meaning of the song came from one of Yoongi's new year speeches) which is the same idea as what you were saying! Everybody is moving at a different frequency. The song means so much to me, every air you breathe is already a paradise ♥

One of the big issues for Yoongi's parents was that they were poor and didn't want him to pursue music because it's unstable. They wanted him and his brother to have safe, stable jobs - I believe government based like police officers. Yoongi often references how he had to choose bus fare over food. He mentions his shoulder injury, which he just hard surgery for, the injury is from him making deliveries to pay for college because his family couldn't afford it. If I remember right, it was before bts debuted and he was doing it all on the down low. Thanks for such thoughtful and meaningful reactions. You can see from he comments that these songs mean so much to many of us.
