I have been waiting for this! The most satisfying thing about the 4 Cyphers is how fantastic it wraps it all up. RM and JHope cone in with the string we are past and above you haters…. Suga didn’t get that memo and had some more feral dissing to do. This is by far the best to watch a live the whole audience screams “sorry bea” to Rm and the chorus. It’s the most hype I’ve seena BTS crowd get it’s phenomenal to see the energy and the live ad libs. I didn’t know I could be more impressed but the live was a whole different level. Parts 2 and 4 are my favorites too. Each hits different.

Regarding RM's lyrics: The idol beauty standard is insane. It's like this shape of face, nose, eyes,...and at least this height, head in proportion to body height etc. Jin comes closest and he's "only" approximately 70% "correct". 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️ So yes, RM took a lot of crap for not fitting into the ideal idol mold. 😤 (Personally I think he's gorgeous 😏)

I think the "click, I'm a cat everyone's a mouse" line is also referring to a computer mouse? and I think the x like kaws line can mean a few different things, its a shout-out to the designer company they really like but I think it's also talking about a computer window? like when you click x to close your browser.. also, kaws main design features the two x's being where the eyes should be which is a common way of portraying that someone is dead or at least knocked out. I just realized all this while watching this vid and I'm a little mind blown 😭 I don't know how I never got it before edit: ok I just looked at the genius lyrics and this line had an annotation on it that says "Possibly referring to clicking on his music like you would on KZbin or another platform. With his music, he draws you in, captures you, and holds you captive." so that's another perspective! edit part 2 (I'm sorry for writing an essay in ur comments 😭)- I just looked on doolset lyrics (I'm sure you've been told a lot to read lyrics from there instead of these lyric videos.. I definitely DEFINITELY recommend it too. things would make more sense I think) and their note on the line 골라 X 쳐 like KAWS (translated: Select them and torture them like KAWS) was ""I’m pretty sure what he meant by “X쳐” is “족쳐,” which means “to put the screws on someone”. Why did he replace 족 with X? To link it to KAWS toys, whose eyes are X-ed out"" to put the screws on someone because I'd never heard of it before and it's basically an idiom that means to intimidate or pressure someone into doing something.
