This whole scandal is just a distraction for all the controversies in South Korean government, drug rings, and sexual assault cases. I watched all the videos and this is what I think,and pls bear with me ,it is just a speculation of mine!!! We know that there always was a kind of hate and jealousy around BTS and ppl trying to bring them down...and bc they were never involved in scandals, now they finally found a reason to create a scandal and going after Suga like a pack of hungry wolves... There is more behind this...I suspect somebody (definitely not a friend) may have been noticing/recognising him drinking and leaving after that with his scooter...and this might become a chance to destroy him and this person might have given the police a hint...its very strange that policemen interestingly enough were at the right place at the right time, this is such a big coincidence that I actually can't believe it...nowadays so many people get framed or other things...just dragging ppl down...and all the bla blabla press made around his case, it is artificial almost and feels so intentional...anyway, I think ppl who really love,respect and like Suga can read through the lines and will still love him in the future too....yes he was drunk but he did not hurt anybody so what is this all about in reality? Really? And we are talking about a culture where drinking is something super normal ...and everyone does a lot of drinking...and what's next? The sidewalk is going to sue Suga for emotional and physical damages bc it had been hurt by Suga's landing/falling on it😂... this is insane...Suga has been through so much, endured so much, I don't think this can bring him down and I think he is very aware of lots of things and will deal with elegance and sovereignty with this matter...ofc he is affected but he has the strength to stay above all this

Global perception is important to Korea. This is bad press for Suga but also bad press for Korea. Sure, fake news and toxic fandoms are everywhere. But now Korea has shown the world that their legal system is a circus. Nearly three weeks and a 3-hr interrogation to investigate a fallen scooter that was caught on cctv and personally witnessed by three police officers, yet the police never bothered to correct the misinformation, it was not an electric Vespa type scooter, Suga did not drive at high speeds on the road and was not found lying drunk on the ground. I understand that police line ups are illegal, yet Korean Police allowed media to crowd their station in wait for Suga not one day but two days. The world is watching and not impressed…this is not good for Korea’s brand. This can easily impact consumption of Korea’s precious cultural exports and tourism. Hopefully their prosecutors are more efficient. Suga has apologized more than necessary, he took ownership and accountability, he will learn and grow from this. Korea, these tactics have already proven fatal before, show the world you can learn and do better. We believe Yoongi, BTS is 7, Future gonna be okay

I won’t judge and wouldn’t recommend judging and punishing a whole country based on the few rotten apples, but if there’s a decline in the millions of visitors and wons that were brought in by BTS, SK deserves the loss and they brought it upon themselves. But ARMY will keep on supporting BTS through all and we can’t wait for their CB. Once free of their enlistment, they’ll be even more untouchable and ARMY is ready to keep supporting our 7.

I grasp a little of why Army wants not to circulate Suga's pictures or video at the police and of SK media . It's their choice , right and what they see best. But I see it differently. I don't want he say, she say, they say.I need proof it happened ( and I'm sure I'm not the only one ). Is like the American saying 'when life give you lemons, you make lemonade '. Therefore for me, it proves and exposes to the world what Armies have been saying for years .How BTS have been treated unfairly for no reason and the dumbest thing(s).
@esnftan114 ай бұрын
@@nickeypamphile4588 I totally get what you are saying but this particular video and picture is little different for me. The media wanted this shot to shame and humiliate him because for normal viewer, all they will see is this and all the misleading headlines prior and form an opinion that he committed some awful crime. Yes, we all know with little bit of research that this was completely blown out of proportion and most of what was being reported was not the truth. But unfortunately, the general public will not look into it any further than what they see on headlines and what images they see. I am not an army because I think they are perfect or expect them. I am actually glad to see that he was doing something normal, go to dinner, have some drink and make a questionable judgment like riding his scooter home after some drinks. I don't find it unreasonable to think that he really didn't know that there was a law against this. I mean, when did they have time to have this kind of leisurely time where they can make mistakes like this. Even the police didn't know the law for this particular scooter whether it needed a license plate or not and had to get clarification from one of the agency that is in control of that (No license plate needed). At least he was responsible enough to not ride the scooter on the street and wore a helmet. He made a mistake, owned up to it, was willing to take the consequences and will learn from this. Now, if this was a repeated thing, I would have problems with it but with this incident, it did not warrant this kind of treatment whether he is a celebrity or not. He acted classy throughout this whole fiasco that the media created and if I was him, I would have felt kind of betrayed. He really didn't have a choice, this had to be the ending for the media to be satisfied, but that doesn't mean that this is the last image we have to see and be circulated.

BTS did a press conference with South Korean media, in the US, during the LA or LV tour. I don't recall which tour but I do remember how tense the interview seemed. I remember thinking at the time that the members were doing the interview strictly out of duty to country. The interview was formal, guarded, stiff, and to the point in response to questions. The interview was in stark contrast to interviews I have seen them do for US media/TV. Their US interviews have been relaxed, engaging, give and take, and funny. This Witch Hunt has answered my questions about that US, on-location interview with the South Korean media. I believe BTS/members have known for a long time the South Korean media is out to get them. Why?? The South Korean media has NOTHING to do with the international success and popularity of BTS. The South Korean media has NO control over BTS' international popularity and success. The SK media does not have a seat at the BTS table. The SK media wants to make BTS pay for the media's perceived slight , by BTS, of of SK media. Thank you for showing the positive of this whole scandal. Regardless of the video others will turn it into a blown out of proportion video but you're showing the truth! I believe Suga and i believe the media who is doing this OWE him an apology.

I am a 77 yr "young" BTS fan. So much so that I bought their book BEYOND THE STORY. Reading, not all, the comments of ARMY Fandom members, I was in tears 😢 I trust that justice for Yoongi will come...STAY STRONG YOONGI, BTS & ARMY ❤

Thank you Sean for providing your breakdown in helping us understand Suga’s handwritten apology, it certainly provides greater clarity and insight.

Suga is brave to face the its done. This is also a way so that the prosecutor will see this that he is remoseful for what he did. I think itwas the advise of his legal team. This too shall pass .Suga's mental health is more important, I hope Jin is there to keep Suga company. Be strong Suga.

your explanation showed me yoongi through the letter. it was such a yoongi way of sending his message in a way only those who know him, and i mean KNOW him will understand. thank you. i was having trouble seeing the suga i knew in this situation, but now it's right in front of me.

firstly, thank you for this video. Ive been a bts i-army and yoongi biased since 2019. Yoongi has never disappointed or hurt me. I trust his character and integrity to such a degree, i know that he would never violate it. My faith in him is never in question, what i have been struggling with is that he had to go through all of this, i know how strong and patient he is, he didnt deserve this. I just want him to be okay emotionally. If korea is not going to appreciate him and respect him like he deserves, im sure he can always move to another country, it will be korea's loss. Army is never going to forgive korea for this.

The reporters are definitely being antagonistic. No wonder people apologize so quickly. They are going to be painted as a monster regardless. That's a lot of mental pressure.

Write to elon musk and google. That people are using their platform for fake and misinformation. There needs maybe another button than report and block that can stop public engagement. As platform of freedom of speech it is also their responsibility to stop trash

Thank you for generously providing context for us non-Koreans. ARMY, let's keep Yoongi and the rest of BTS on the global music charts 💜
