When it comes to singing in english Jungkook is your man. It literally sounds like its his native language. If you get chance check out Falling by Harry Styles Lost Stars by Adam Levine 10,000 hours by Justin Bieber 2U by Justin Bieber He has a whole playlist of english covers and takes requests from army when he sings karaoke on his weverse live streams.

If you want to go back to the beginning, their discography starts with The School Trilogy and Dark & Wild, their first four albums, when half of them were still in highschool in 2013-2014. 2 Cool 4 Skool O!RUL8,2? Skool Luv Affair Dark & Wild Then comes Wake Up in 2014 also, their first Japanese album, with all Japanese versions of their songs. But there are some original songs on each Japanese release too that can't be missed. On Wake up those songs are: The Stars Wake Up Then comes The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Trilogy, 2015-2016, a major style pivot from the earlier work, and a system shock to the industry in many ways. The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt1 The Most Beautiful Moment in Life pt2 The most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever Then Youth, their second Japanese release in 2016. Original songs on that are: Good Day Wishing On A Star For You Then comes Wings in 2016 A Masterpiece based on the novel Demian, by Hermann Hesse, among other things. Blood, Sweat & Tears is off this album. Then a Wings repackaging called You Never Walk Alone in 2017, that also includes some new songs that are really important not to miss, which are: Spring Day Not Today Then the Love Yourself Trilogy in 2017-2018 Love Yourself 'Her' (Romantic or idealized Love of all kinds, both of others or the self) Love Yourself 'Tear' (When love goes wrong) Love Yourself 'Answer' (The True meaning/value/goal of love) Then the Japanese album Face Yourself in 2018, with original singles: Don't Leave Me Crystal Snow Let Go Then the Map of the Soul Series, 2019-2020 based on the work of Carl Jung. This work was meant to be a trilogy also and kick off a world tour that was already sold out...but then COVID happened. Black Swan and ON are from this series, both videos filmed in L.A. just before COVID hit. Map of the Soul: Persona Map of the Soul: 7 Japanese release Map of the Soul: 7 ~ The Journey was in 2020 and included original songs: Stay Gold (a pandemic pick me up) Lights Your Eyes Tell BE, the pandemic album came in 2020, with a mix of grief, comfort and escapism. Don't miss the outstanding Japanese Single Film Out Which was released in 2021 for Japanese Film Soundtrack. There is a great music video and an amazing live performance of the song for Japanese tv. Proof Finally, the last current album, Proof was released in 2022 and is a three disc anthology of ten years of their career, with their chosen songs from their previous eras, plus remixes, previously unreleased songs, demo tracks and alternate versions of their songs, and two new songs, Run BTS and For Youth (another fan song for ARMY.) As I listed their Mixtape albums in a previous post I wont repeat them here, but that is 5 other albums that also span those first ten years. Then there are the newer solo albums: Suga/Agust D's album D-Day j-hope's album Jack in the Box RM's album Indigo and Jimin's album Face. I highly recommend live performances as well as music or lyric videos as not only are they often better live, but the musical mix is often very different live. Their band, The Ghost Band, is amazing live. One fun way to do it is to watch a lyric or music video first and then a live performance in the same reaction video, so you can get the full experience of the song, with choreography or shenanigans on stage and live music, etc.

This song was done for the soundtrack of a Korean animated movie about super heroes, Bastions. That doesn't mean the lyrics are not meaningful as you have speculated. BTS doesn't write a song just to write a song. Also, RM is completely fluent in English. If you want to hear his English, try watching his 3 speeches at the UN, his speech at the White House or the many interviews where he is speaking English for the group and translating. He has a 148 genius level IQ and he taught himself English as a child, partly from rap and partly from watching Friends sitcom on DVD. haha RM and the other members are all fluent in Japanese as well. Jimin is particularly good in Japanese. The others are also studying English but are not yet fluent. Jungkook has made the most progress, according to RM, and j-hope is doing pretty well too. There is a long standing ARMY joke that Suga is secretly fluent in English because he seems to be able to pull it out of nowhere whenever he needs it. They are all working on it though.

That video was confirmed to be faked by actors. The actors confessed in retribution to those who set it up when they didn't get paid as promised. Don't believe gossip about anything that doesn't come from the members or their agency directly. There is a lot of garbage going around. Please don't spread garbage.
