BTS is a 7 member group who is now in their 10th year with a 350+ track discography largely written and produced by the members themselves conjoined by their inhouse producers. The leader 'RM' has 210+ credits making him the youngest most credited artist in Korea and the rest of the members are not far behind. BTS is known for being extremely profound at articulating what they introspect and composing it into the sound they with their artistic knowledge believe will deliver the emotion of their lyricsm. They began with their roots in hiphop but have experimented their way into currently having above 10+ genres in their discography with the main being hiphop, pop, r&b and electronic, but majority of the time its a fusion of these genres, or their subgenres. Like latin pop, old school hiphop with boom bap, rap rock, dance pop, ballads, emo hiphop, jazz etc. Since they articulate so well, their music is very human oriented adressing extreme mental health issues (all they way from comforting, motivating, to eery delivery with raw mvs that youtube asks for viewers discretion), sociopolitical commentary etc. Their discography shows the growth from school boys to the tribulations of youth, to addressing temptation, to reaching maturity, to loving onself, to finding the core essence of the mind (i work in the field of psychology and i have yet to find an artist that is as profound as bts in accurately potraying psychological themes) to fighting the pandemic to now doing solo albums as each of the bts members complete their mandatory military. Congratulations on graduation. This song was created in the response for the (ras _i _stic) comments when they won Billboard. BTS has a huge discography, i even dont know what to suggest as they have so many good songs. also they have over 30km of the footage from their personal and professional lives. and ofc live performances. this song they performed on the MAMA 2017 together with Cypher, Not today, DNA. Live performances are what definitely everyone would recommend

Oh! I think you should start some live performances. When you have time, the MMA2019 is a must watch. It’s almost 40 minutes long but I promise it’s something you have never seen before, the quality, the size of the performance, the time and money invested on it, it’s another level. If you imagine something huge, it’s probably like 10x what you’re thinking and it’s not an exaggeration. Idk if you know but BTS also has a lot of Japanese songs. Some versions like Mic Drop and some original songs like Film Out, Lights, Your Eyes Tell, Crystal Snow… there are many. Some have music videos as well and live performances 💜

This is the MV that started it all for me 3 years ago. It blew my mind when I saw it. It was so different to anything I'd seen before. I was immediately intrigued. Next was Boy With Love. And then Black Swan. That's the one that threw me down the rabbit hole and put me on the road to becoming ARMY.

Mic Drop is BTS' response to their haters with a little flexing on the side and Suga's epic lines "tasteless ratatouille and sue it". I recommend you check the lates live performance from their Yet to Come Busan concert held last October where it was attended by almost 70k live audience and was livestreamed by over 50M worldwide causing the apps to crash from time to time and you can feel the same energy.

The music video is great but this performance in particular (and I don’t know of them ever doing it the same again), it just blew me away. Everything about it was perfection. Whenever you have time, you have to download the long version of this song, even if it is just for you... You won't regret it. Also, I would recommend you to look at their whole discography (Boracity magazine channel has a video explaining the whole discography, it gives you lots of insight without spoilers). So.... I would recommend you to go on the titles of their whole discography, and once in a while react to their songs in chronological way. Because you will find lots of satisfaction in their progress, although they have been absolutely awesome from the very beginning) With the help of the Boracity magazine guide, you will find no difficulty in choosing the songs in an organic order ... I’m SO glad you got round to this! It’s such a hype song, and one my fav BTS songs. If you liked this vibe, I REALLY think you’d just love the k-pop group ‘Stray Kids’; their song ‘God’s Menu’ is a great place to start!! They’re a 4th gen group (the current generation), and they are totally self-produced - which is quite unique in Kpop!! JYP (their label) decided to try something new with them, and it’s really worked! So their all-round talent is WILD. I think you’ll just fall in love with Stray Kids’ music and personalities, and STAYs (the stray kids fans) are so special. Their music, message, and community have quite literally changed my life in just a few months in a way that has honestly never happened to me before with any other artist/group x

congrats on graduating! if you're looking for some more "relevant" (i'm taking that as recent) BTS stuff, i think you reacted to haegeum but not the rest of that trilogy, so maybe daechwita and amygdala? amygdala is from agust d/suga's latest album that dropped last month and was a favorite from that album for many people. a couple comments here also suggested their 2019 MMA performance and i agree, definitely check that out! it's long, but worth watching the whole thing. you won't believe that it was an award show performance and not their own concert!
