Great reaction! I’m 66 and my husband, who is 72, flew to California to see them in 2020. Both of us are serious ARMY. We’re going to see their “Yet to Come” concert in theaters on February 1. Can’t wait. 🎉

I went to the theater concert tonight.......wow, a concert that is their last one....... This is it. .......Time has changed and tears fell when everyone sang "forever we are young " They asked us if we will wait for them. The theater yelled " yes ". ...............my ticket was 4DX seat (so my seat moved with the music )

The purple ribbon project was to keep the members from getting mobbed at the airport. I'm a 50 yr old proud ARMY who got my kids into BTS & I was lucky enough to see them in LA in 2021 with my 18 year old kid and our 77 year old friend. It was 1 of the greatest moments of my life and definitely the best concert. BTS have saved my life and are helping me get through the grief of losing my husband last year. They make me want to be, and actively strive to be, a better person, and I'm trying to help make the world a better place too. 💜 BTS Isn't just a musical group, but a movement . Eta: about the blm donation, BTS don't usually publicize donations, we find out when media uncovers them.

BTS posted their support for black live matters. But they don't made their donation public. It was revealed by vanity fair. After vanity's article publicised army stepped in and matched the 1 million in 24h after the article release.

💜💜 you asked if we feel proud to contribute to the record breaking numbers. For me it's not about the numbers or awards. It's about the boys. I wish I could give to them even a tenth of what they gave to me, but also F the grammy's 😂

This is it exactly. I don't want their vids and streams to pass 1B or the number of daesangs to keep rising for the 'fame' of it. I want it because viewing their vids, streaming their music and voting for them is the best, most visible way I have to show support for them. And I *wish* there was some way to (kindly) make clear to them, and HYBE, that the grammys are NOT an honor. They are a local award show with delusions of global significance, and they use every artist they can get their hands on to try and boost their collapsing view numbers.

BTS always think it's their job to thank us by making music and creating fantastic performances. ARMY always think it's our job to thank them for their music and performances by buying albums and streaming songs. We don't work without the other. We both think we owe each other so much for improving our lives and bringing us joy so we work hard for each other.

Don’t get us started on the Grammys!! We are very bitter about the blatant denial to recognize the boys. And yes, we are super proud of supporting the boys and our goal always have been to have the world see their artistry and their humanity. As a 51 year old I’m so incredibly proud of my boys. I wish them nothing but happiness and continued success. 💜

The crazy thing is, BTS didn't even advertise that they donated to BLM, a news outlet leaked it and ARMY took it upon themselves to match it. ARMY also recently raised and donated over $100K to support three different woman's organizations and food banks in Houston when Meg Thee Stallion had to take her record label to court in order to release her Butter Remix. The label didn't want it released and she basically had to put 100K in a court account as insurance that it would do well.

I am 70. I began following BTS in 2016. Previously followed CNBLUE & TVXQ. BTS is very unique. I doubt that I will see anything like them again in my lifetime. I watched The Beatles debut on Ed Sullivan. I was just a little girl, but I remember. I've watched many groups since. Many genres. White, 8th generation, female American. I would love to see them live, but my age-challenges make that extremely unlikely. Especially in 2025! Keep reacting.

Yes XCeleste's video is indeed very moving and overwhelming and what's even more heartwarming is the boys never felt entitled and are never boastful of their influence and power. BTS continues to stay grounded, humble and grateful for their blessings and for the Army inspite of the hate and descrimination they constantly face. So how can you not love them? I'm a 60 year old Mom and I'm grateful that they continue to help me during my dark periods. I'm looking forward to seeing their Yet To Come concert on Feb 4 in a theater in my city with my daughter. 😊💜

I didn't have much during the BLM donation drive, but just being able to put a little down was amazing. It literally just all started by one Twitter ARMY who was like, do you think we can match it?? I stayed up 24 hours to watch the real time progress. It was so thrilling. It ended up raising 1.3M actually. As far as the sold out physical albums, they also have released CASSETTE tapes and mini vinyls which get sold out almost immediately too. There's also NASA ARMY, Optometrist ARMY, statistics, psychiatry, etc etc. Any resource you could ever need. It's amazing.

Bangtan Academy is a big one too that continuously keeps growing :D They're like a virtual school on Discord where you can learn Korean for free. It's gotten so big that you need to apply now in order to join and it has a waiting list of several months because otherwise the staff might get overwhelmed. Which I totally understand. I applied last month and am still waiting to hear if I got in. Other than me there were 900+ other applicants O.O and I believe it's that way every time they open up for applying. It really amazes me the things ARMYs are capable of. My favorite KZbin reactors once said that we ARMYs are like the most effective civilization on earth or something similar to that and they're so right.

To my knowledge, except for Love Yourself Campaign with UNICEF, they hardly ever ask ARMY to donate. Generally, it is voluntarily all done by the ARMY to follow in their footsteps of giving and healing our community both locally and on a global scale because when we become ARMY, we believe it is BTS and our mission to love and make ourselves and the world we share a better place for everyone. They are our inspiration. APO BANGPO!💜

Many huge artists such as Prince and Queen Jimi Hendrix and Diana Ross and Bjork for example have never won Grammys. So getting one does not necessarily mean that you are the best nor that not getting one means that you are not the best. It is just luck, who you know, who knows you, politics, etc etc. not holding my breath on a Grammy for BTS even though they have done enough for one. The thing about Army and projects is that it is grassroots. Any Army can come up with an idea and if people like it it gets done. There is no central Army boss - it is not a corporation but friends getting together. BTS never ask Army to donate - Army do this themselves choosing particular projects they want.

Thanks for sharing, and for understanding and feeling ARMY. I have been ARMY for about 4 years, so I am not Original ARMY, but I know some people who are. They told me that when BTS debuted, not only were BTS bullied by other fandoms, but BTS ARMY were too, and that sometimes that became quite frightening. There is a sad sad culture of unchallenged bullying in Korea, despite lip service to changing that, and I believe there is some evidence that a lot of the hate for BTS and ARMYs was in fact co-ordinated by the large Kpop companies - not their artists, the companies. BTS has got good relationships with most of their peers, many of whom actually look up to them. I believe that where idols appear to dismiss or ignore BTS' achievements, they are probably under instruction from their company. I've not been ARMY all that long, and many people are far more knowledgeable than I am, but I'm proud to be ARMY, not because BTS are increasingly famous, but because they are the people they are and their message and ethos are so special, so holistic, and, so inclusive. I like the fact that they are Korean and don't even think about trying to conform to Western ideas, they are very much genuinely themselves,.but by being so specifically themselves, can appeal to and include so many different people. Borahae, AhPo BangPo... 💜💜

First and foremost, thank you so much for your reaction to this 🙏🏼💜 I know I’m a year late but I’m here now 💜 Secondly, the end of this video when John Cena, Halsey and literally everyone talks about the kindness of ARMY and how we are the most RESPECTFUL, supportive, dedicated AND BEAUTIFUL fan base out there makes me proud but also really sad… I’m not sure if it’s always been this way and yes I know it’s only a minority, but the amount of hate towards some members from ARMYs that prefer one member over another, and the horrendous posts and fighting (amongst ARMYs) that goes on on X, KZbin etc makes me sad and angry.. I honestly don’t understand it.. it goes against everything BTS promotes - love, kindness and respect! We as ARMYs should stand together, even if you prefer one member over another, and support them ALL! Support their successes as a band AND as a solo! I want everyone, everywhere to talk about ARMY like that again, not talk about the toxic fans or solo stans… I want to feel proud again of being a part of the most awesome fan base ever, that loves and supports the best band EVER!!! 🙏🏼💜💜💜

I wish she had done a much longer update to the video, told a lot more about the projects (for example, birthday projects and gifts) and talked about how much we protect BTS from other people who hate on them. Plus the fact that Army were the ones who bought the thousends rally Trump speech tickets back then and didn't went so he had thousends of empty seats. And let's not forget about the whole "Wanna see something funny?" thing to the haters. But after all it's a good video.

While I would love for them to win a Grammy (I know how much it would mean to them even though they say it's not that big of a deal), but I'm not getting my hopes up. Instead I will be going to watch BTS Yet To Come concert at the movie theater this weekend. If you aren't aware BTS last concert together until 2025 (they performed the concert last October) will be in movie theaters starting today for a limited time. It will also be bittersweet if they do win a Grammy because I'm pretty sure they aren't attending. 2 years ago when they were nominated for Dynamite they couldn't attend in person because of travel restrictions in South Korea, they lost and did a live stream after the Grammys and they had a cake to celebrate but in the background you could see another cake of a Grammy in case they won. Their live stream after the Grammys had more viewers than the actual Grammy awards. I don't expect everyone to like BTS music and that's fine. But the blatant hate and racist comment they receive daily makes absolutely no sense to me. They are just 7 young men who love to make music and perform and trying to make this world just a bit better.

Love to see that you're still on your bts journey. Thanks for giving them a chance and looking into their (and our's as army's) mission and values. Being a part of army has changed my life in so many ways. I have friends across the globe, in so many countries. I have something in common with every person I encounter that has a bts symbol or some type of bts merch on and feel comfortable approaching them and asking them about how and when they found bts. My best friends that I have, I found through them (bts), and I owe bts so much for helping me through such tough times. But the people who put the extra work in to help me has always been army. I started listening to BTS just like any other band, watching a few music videos here and there, adding a few songs to a playlist. But it's army, the fans who make edits on youtube, who made me really able to let my current pains and worries go. The endless amount of funny content that my fellow fans can make just from adding subs or adding a special effect here or there (on TOP of bts just being naturally the funniest and most genuine people I've ever seen) really helped me. I'm endlessly thankful.

We have few delusions that the Grammy Recording Academy will remove their heads from their collective asses any time soon. BTS is done playing that game and it's honestly a relief not to care anymore. We all watched them play the industry game as if it was a special project during the pandemic. I knew RM was stretched thin, self-respect-wise, after hearing him recount his convo with Scooter Braun at a party - "Just give us one. Bieber has five." (About last year's nominations.) Then, his speech at their concert a week after Butter got snubbed - "We didn't come to Las Vegas for the Grammys. We came here for the ARMYs."

This video is older, so a lot of the information isn't accurate, 9:30 (timestamp) like Life Goes On being their latest #1 on Billboard Hot 100. They now have six #1's and the latest one was My Universe, a collaboration with Coldplay, and they have been nominated in 3 categories for the first time this year. In two days, we will find out if they won. Anyway, just remember that they have 3 more years of acheivements and life experience since this video was made. Guns and Roses were great (3songs maybe?) but did they donate to anything or their fans? I am not dissing the band. But they were global band..... BTS has won awards in over 115 counties. BTS is recognized around the world. Global is a term for main countries. A confusion by the music industry to make an artist appear bigger then they are. (smoke and mirrors) Are you brave enough to go to the theater concert? It is playing worldwide this weekend at your local movie cinema.
