When Jimin released his song Like Crazy on KZbin, i watched and was streaming, I was watching how it was trending then all of a sudden the numbers were rolling backwards , I thought I had done something it then stopped and started counting again I just couldn't believe my eyes, JIMIN WE LOVE YOU ALWAYS 💛🥰🐥💛🥰🐥

Yeah, Jimin's Like Crazy MV views were getting deleted so much everyday for the first 2-3 weeks. I myself saw 1M views cut several times and it was frustrating to see the numbers going backwards.

I agree with everything you’re saying but I find it hard to stomach the fact that another member, who is yet to produce a solo album, will be putting one out that will include a collaboration with an American juggernaut! THAT will be hyped and celebrated and will ‘hit all the right buttons’ for the song charts BECAUSE of that western artist (like Despacito). Mark my words, what happened to Jimin won’t happen to that member because of that collab and that really sickens me! It feels wrong and I’m kind of disgusted with PD for that; he really wants his Scammy and he’s willing to work with one of the shadiest individuals in the music industry today to get one!

@@ArmantoAlex13 ...They're in the same company, and the decision to work with that individual is indisputably made by the member of BTS. The company has been bending over backward to let them do what they want with their solo releases, from who they want to collab with, to when they want to release, to how they want to promote. And the member you're speaking of has worked with some....less than popular individuals in the past as well, as far as ARMY is concerned. That's not criticism, it's just a fact.

@@ystrw Yes, they are in the same company and that was PD’s biggest mistake - especially because he bought a label that’s been corrupt and just plain nasty for as long as I can remember. All I care about is that Jimin knows that his success as a solo artist is ALL HIS - a true solo debut that resulted in him breaking all kinds of records that no one else can ever take away or repeat. Despite what has happened to him, including the cruelty from within Army, I hope he knows his accomplishments will never be cheapened or minimized (by toxic fans mainly) because of another member’s easy success (I won’t name that member, who I believe HAS had it very easy in several ways). You don’t have to agree with me; it’s my opinion and I’m very devoted to it, so it won’t change, lol! ☺️

I'm an older Army. I grew up on Michael Jackson and Prince, but also listened to the great music my parents listened to (i.e., Commodores, earth wind & fire, etc). I've been listening to BTS for a long time because of their discography. The variety of their songs, the message just makes you want to hear more. Heck, you know the music is great when you'll listen to it in a different language. Before I started listening to BTS, I had stopped buying music because I could listen to sub-par music for free. Long since stopped watching the awards shows because they were tired and no one I thought worthy ever 🏆. Like music from back in the day, I can listen and will listen to BTS over and over. Hell, I think I could singlehandedly keep Jimin's Face on the charts because it's in rotation every day over here. It's just a shame that the very things BTS sing about (love yourself, inclusiveness, bringing everybody up) are the very things the American/Korean market try to tear down because they do it on their own terms. THIS video is spitting facts, and I hope people are listening because we need a change. I hate we don't hear them on the radio. Billboards wants us to believe BTS isn't being played because Americans don't want to hear them, but that's just nuts because we're buying, streaming, and downloading the hell out of the music. ARMY , let's keep doing what we need to to keep the best music this decade from becoming a footnote in music history. DT, thanks for reacting to this awesome video.

true people just don´t know they excist because they don´t want to play them. and Lik crazy was a mainstream song that is easy to listen to just like the weekend so that song had the potential to do well and army knew it. that´s why we bought the song and not set me free pt 2 because it was different and it has the kpop sound most people in the west don´t like it was a mix between that and kendrix songs. like crazy was on level with butter and dynamite. and fans are not stupid we wont just spend endless money on a song that has no chance what so ever to chart. that´s why we didn´t do to well with other songs. because we spend a lot the first week and then we see what happens and how people react to it. we make it chart high enough to matter and for the general public to see it and for the songs to get on sportify. after that we see if other people will like it too. but butter and dynamite was also helped by hype who parked a tour buss in front of radio stations so they could hear the song before hand. they wanted radio but they would not do it illegal. so they did this instead and fans noticed and we followed their lead. it was the same they did with like crazy making remixes of a song. even Hybe knows when a song has mainstream possibility.

I've been around for a while also and I can tell you that these young men have raised the bar in the music industry of how boy bands need to put on a show. They're talented vocally, they are versatile in dancing and genre, dynamic, explosive, with a bit of innocence and great humility mixed in. They have proven that you don't have to have sexually explicit lyrics to be popular. As BTS, there is no mention of female dogs or gardening tools in the songs, no half naked girls dancing around them, or fighting in the band. They have great taste in fashion and then you have to look at their beautiful faces and bodies which is the cherry on top.

Mind you that label also earned more from those songs as they were the ones finding the song writers and a certain somone got credits for Butter for saying the beat sounds like "Smooth Criminal" which the lyrics "smooth like Butter, like a criminal undercover" than turned into, That man is NOT a song writer and still earns money for that.

WOW! That was eye-opening. It IS a dirty business and so manipulative. BTS put out quality content so numbers and rankings DO matter. You said so yourself when speaking about how BTS were robbed of a Grammy and how that affected RM and the rest of the boys. I guess that’s why they call them the Scammys. Recognition and validation are good. So screw the awards. The fact is the odds are stacked against them, and the grand prize is always destined to elude them. I stopped watching the Grammy awards or the red carpet aspects of it because of what I have been hearing for several years now it makes me have no respect for it. I love listening to music because that's what I grew up with in my younger years in mid to late 1980s. When I hear about the what the music industry was doing it upset me just like every one have felt. I am an artist myself and I totally support musicians, artists, dancers because we express our ideas, creativity, words into lyrics and the aspects of it. This is our communication through art, expression, experiences in daily lives. I know that BTS will prevail cuz they have the potential and visual creativity and impact on those who loves them. I enjoyed watching Taeyang and Lisa doing project together. Both musicians are very talented. Jimin song that he did gave me goose bumps not bad way no. I describe it like wow, so beautiful. His voice so angelic and heavenly. I have a hard time listening to rap cuz it's too fast and can't catch what they are saying. Taeyang somehow soften and slowed it to where I could hear him. However there are many talented people that loves music, doing art, other expressive of art and love doing what they do and I give alot of respect for talented people everywhere. I believe that we should never give up what we love doing. Just saying. 😊❣

Yes, I liked that too! It goes to show even famous Western (American/Canadian) artists who don’t ‘play the game’ get burned badly. It’s the same thing with the award shows and how they ‘punish’ winning artists for not showing up to the event by giving it to another artist! BTS got robbed of one particular award because they couldn’t make the show, so the organization gave it to BP! I remember the controversy over that! NOW THAT was a farce!!

I gave up on my past favourite music when my daughter died in 2006; somehow I associated that music I loved so much with her death at the time. I discovered BTS a year ago, while on sick leave and since then, they are the only music…the only artists I listen to. That’s 16 years without music! I love these boys! KZbin has deleted and continues to delete millions of views from BTS videos. I have asked for explanations from them many ties to no avail. It is so obvious. Jimin's Like Crazy has had millions of views deleted before my eyes, even weeks after its release. Billboard not counting sales from the direct to customer stores is totally ridiculous. Comparing to other acts, BTS is constantly sabotaged.

What an eye opener to the music industry. I have never been one to take note of the positions of a song, if I enjoy the song I will listen to it, if I do not like the song I do not listen to it, no matter how well known or well liked the artist or group is. I started listening to BTS in September last year and was hooked, I first went down the rabbit hole getting to know who they are, where they come from etc., then |I went further down listening to their music, and where I am from that makes me stand alone as those around me have negative things to say, but it is ok, I would rather stand alone and be true to how I feel than stand with others and be two faced about my feelings. I am a 53 years old ARMY and proud of it, I get laughed at, I get told off about it but that makes me who I am and BTS has given me the strength to stand and I will in return stand with them, na matter what road they are on right now, I will be there for them. Thank you for giving me a place to come and laugh and cry, I love your reactions. May we all stand united and show the world and their haters that we as ARMY are and forever will be there for those who has given us the strength, has given us the hope. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I pretty much made the very same comments as you, DT, on this lady’s video you just reviewed!!! We need to set aside/ignore the whole charting industry and focus on BTS, their music, their merch and their concerts! BTS found ways to reach us and gain their fandom without all of that $hit 10 years ago and here we are - we will always be connected to them! This whole corruption issue and what happened to Jimin IS really messing with my head - worrying about streaming, the hate (even from inside Army) etc. and how it’s all affecting Jimin. I’d much rather think that Jimin is happy with the success of his solo debut and is moving forward with other projects. ☺️

I agree - it pisses me off...all the bullsh!+ that BTS (Jimin specifically in this video) has to endure but we gotta remember just to focus on the music and support we show to our young men. We'll continue to stream, buy, request radio spins, etc., as we would anyway because the music is effing wonderful!! The MVs are effing awesome!! The guys are genuinely great artists and beautiful human beings!! However, if there is ever a movement/petition within ARMY or the general public to bring some sort of complaint for stronger fairness and equality rules/regulations against the music industry and all its proponents, count me in!! Most ARMYs care about numbers and charts BECAUSE they love their music. Giving BTS freedom from needing industry support allows them to be free and creative with their music. Unfortunately, these charts do matter and affect artists freedom when they want to create their next project, that’s why they are willing to do so many sketchy things to get on the charts. BTS’ are independent artists whose main source of influence (power in the industry) are their fans (not connections or money) - I know you know that but I’m still saying it lol. Companies will try to screw BTS over but bc ARMY doesn’t ignore the corruption and let it slide as the rules of the game, their games are not as successful as they would like. Yes BTS is successful but the industry is not anymore welcoming than before (if anything it might be less so) and they would be happy for that success to end. Spotify filters their streams in half, YT deletes views by the hundreds of thousands, billboard charged charting rules, radio refuses to play their music unless there’s payola (if they do it’s a handful of times at random hrs), etc. This is why ARMY supports so hard even now bc without that support an industry that has always been hostile to foreign and independent artists would eventually push them out or force them to play their games. I would like BTS to be able to make music as free as possible from the influence of the industry. Many artists can’t do that, they have to go on Tictok and get support or their company holds their music hostage for example. Jimin, on the other hand, is able to experiment with his sound and RM can work with lesser known artists bc they know they have support. ARMYs always wanted them to have the freedom to experiment and grow as artists and that’s the point of caring about all these charts and nitpicking about industry nonsense. TLDR 😂 regardless of YT and Spotify’s corrupt filtering, I hope we stream and buy Suga’s latest album D-Day as much as possible (use separate emails and buy in person at stores if you can, Diversify streaming so 1 platforms filtering doesn’t affect so much like including Apple or pandora or Amazon along with Spotify, etc). ARMY fighting!💜

I prefer it a little softer. xCeleste has made a vid on the Jimin situation, too. (I love her hardship vids but also her "This is BTS" and "This is Army") Try the video essays of bby gang mag/Elliot Sang. That is also interesting. Boracity magazine sometimes cares little for the context in which some things are said/done and that is not always fair to other artists - the brushstroke too broad.

Hi DT! Glad you made a reaction to this video essay. Just watched it last night. There is so much unfairness when it comes to BTS. Yet, with ARMYs full support to BTS whether as a group or solo, is still making and breaking records mind-blowing those egoistic music platforms, western music labels, and award organizations who can't accept that BTS and ARMY are powerful together conquering their tactics of music manipulation.

All of us should never lose sight of the fact that the music industry is well known for corruption and back door dealings, numbers on a chart doesn't make the money - album, merch and ticket sales are what help BTS and other groups to be able to continue their love for making music and our love to listen to it.. The music industry should be very scared of groups like BTS but the fan base of other groups need to wake up and realise that trying sabotage BTS also sabotages their own groups as well. You're absolutely right, but unfortunately, many fanbases are so competitive that seeing one artist get attacked only makes them think, 'Good, now the way is clear for us.' They never seem willing to acknowledge that the same dirty tactics could be turned on them. And sometimes that's because the artist is playing the dirty game and is betting on being able to jump through all the industry's hoops successfully. I think it also may come from the way other fanbases 'unite' briefly against BTS. Like in award-voting, they'll always abandon their 'favorites' to throw votes to the 'BTS-beater.' They don't seem to think about what will happen when BTS steps aside and a new group turns up at the top of the nominee list. I must say, I'll be very interested to watch 'award season' once all the members are enlisted and the other fandoms all realize that they've got nothing to unite against. YT deletes views on the first day a mv released so I understand they did the same with Like Crazy but they didn't stop there , the views keep dropping even after the first 24hrs . WTH . Oh, they know it- that's why RM said he didn't worry about charting, when he was making Indigo. He said charting would be nice and he'd be lying if he said he didn't think about it, but he didn't want to make chart music, he wanted to make *his* music. LONG COMMENT Now more than ever we need to give lots of love and huge amounts of support for all the members of BTS. I got a crazy thought because I'm only a regular person with no proof: Maybe, just maybe each of the members are doing everything they are doing WITH THEIR OWN MONEY AND RESOURCES AND CONTACTS THEY CAN HIRE TO MAKE THEIR MUSIC, SHOWS, ALBUMS. MVs etc. With not much of the Agency support for whatever reason (?) That's why a meaningful but short appearances before starting Military Service, only Suga is doing the World Tour (supposedly the second richest of the 7) I remember now when Hobi told JiMin to do the same as him and said "You can do it " 3-4 times and JiMin kept saying "I can't do what you do: at Hobi Coachella backstage live, and Suga after Concert live asking JiMin to get more songs and tour but JiMin was not answering, I think is not about performing but spending like their agency could for him, I can now understand BTS silence in their last and crying time RM saying crying I did all I could possible do to stop it (stop what), then they didn't say at the Busan FREE Concert that it was the last time together because they have to be at the Busan Expo 2025 and work hard to secure their comeback even if it's local. Then when the Billboard did the extraction of milions of sales then changed the rules on how many albums per credit card can be bought by a customer, I felt ill for Our Jimin. It only applied to him. The NERVE!! The platforms don’t make money from KPop artists so it’s important for them to support US artists only. Touching what you said at 30:10 ... when I stream songs or view videos for the sake of the views, I almost always do it with my headphones off or turned to mute. (Of course we have to keep the volume up on the device we're using, but headphones give us flexibility.) I learned a long time ago that I can only listen to a song, even a song I really like, so many times before it becomes dull and I get tired it. So I have a lot of respect for people who can listen to something over and over as needed and not feel bored with it. I do try to change it up by giving other songs some time, but I'm always coming back to the 'stream this!' songs, and it does get to be a chore after a while. So I take off the headphones. And...I suppose it's silly, but listening to a song without actually 'listening' to it kinda feels like... cheating? Or at least, like I'm letting the screen and speakers do the work. 🤔

I literally watch YT delete videos from BTS its insane, they do it mostly all day in small intervals and recently around 9 - 10 pm for some reason they will take over 130K for no reason. Its weird because if you are doing it for bot behaviour the views you have been taking all day should account for that or let the views rise with no deletions and then do a huge drop, like you cant do both. There was one day where YT says that LITERALLY not a single person watched the new Agust D vid that came out the day before and so much so that over 99K actually negative-watched it somehow, that video was in a deficit of views for the day after gaining over 2M a day before and a day after....and we're weird hmmmm The thing is though even though the music industry is wack we still have to try with views, accolades and awards BECAUSE OF THE ART! you have to think of it this way though, we wouldnt have been able to find the guys and enjoy their music if it wasnt for ARMY work! The music industry has always been like this, if veteran ARMYS didnt worry about all the "games" and try to find a way around them BTS would have not been able to go as far as they have. We needed that reputation so that they could get covers of mags, interviews and articles written about them, it was about reach and visibility and yes if they could be awarded for their hardwork then HELL YEAH lets do it for them. The Fandom was trying to show and share BTS with the world because they knew it was what the world needed. With all they have done for me with the art they created its my way as a fan who owes them ALOT MORE to give back with anything I can. We go hard for them in the sales section and streams and we think about the numbers and rankings so that BTS can have the money and freedom to make music that doesnt need to have tiktok virality or a certain BPM to be a radio hit, they can make any kind of music they want and need to make to heal themselves and heal us and stay in this industry as long as they want. For Black Swan, Dynamite and Butter, they did delete in big chunks. And people noticed and complained, which I think is why YT now does it in small bits- it's a little harder to catch. And you can't tell the fans that *correctly* viewed Dynamite and Butter to over 100m in 24 hours that they suddenly are all bots or are viewing 'incorrectly' enough to only make 15m in the first 24 hours. /eyeroll Yet that's the only reason they ever seem to come up with. What you're saying is true, but it may be that BTS has become big enough to declare independence from charts- esp US charts!- and awards. Which is also something no other artist has ever really done, that I know of. But learning how to counter the music industry's filthy tricks may prove to be very valuable in terms of artists who are making music that deserves attention, but haven't a fanbase like ARMY to spread the word.

This channel is so good to inform new armys, or maybe not new like you, that weren't aware of these type of issues. The industry has always being corrupt but U swear they are getting just worse and they are not hiding it all the sabotages.. It's really sad because the general public ignore us because it's BTS and ignoring because they are of racist and xenophobic. Like bro all the sht the industry is doing is so wrong and that affects small artists as well.. If things like this would happen to an American artist or a white artist, people would unite and complain. If they knew all of this, non-fans will understand why we act like "bots" and why we are so protective over BTS. BTS literally only have army and army only have BTS. I know all of this is upsetting frustrated too. The fact Radio payola now weights more than actual fans and other people paying to listen to those songs is ridiculous to me. We Armys have done our best buying, supporting BTS in different platforms and asking radio station. It's NOT our fault they refuse to play their songs and it's not BTS fault either because the guys have done nothing wrong. Their artistry is amazing, their music is good, they spread positive messages and they are incredibly talented. No matter how much they change their rules and try to drag them down, we will not allow that and after all, Bangtan doesn't need their help to increase streams. They are the ones that can really sold out stadiums in minutes globally. Like I said, BTS and Army only have each other and we both have gone though so many hardship but always find the way to keep going. We will adapt and find the way to keep BTS at the top and make them succeed as always because they deserve it. Like you said, we shouldn't think much about this but it is really frustrating and the best thing we can do is not ignore this issue, that would be like helping them to destroy Bangtan. I'm not saying that a number or getting certain awards will define how good they are because this is a corrupt industry, but giving them this things are a way of showing our support and reciprocate our love to them because BTS have already gave us so much happiness, strength and comfort with their music, messages, content and more. 💜

Love that she let the public know exactly what is happening, BTS will always be on top no matter how they try to make them down, they are not happy because they are not getting any profit from BTS, am so happy, they will always be #1with out the gramy, ARMY now that there are the best and no one can take that away from them, more power to BTS 😊

Music is an art...And BTS are true Artists... The real meaning of winning is not by having an award or being on top of a chart. It's the connection and inspiration that BTS is giving and achieving. So no matter what or whatever the music industry is trying to do... BTS and ARMYS will always stay together FOREVER because they rank number 1 in our hearts...I'm a proud older Army and thank you DT for this reaction content💜
