It was when they were in Toronto, Canada and it was really cold when they came so not all have thick jackets. They also shot their Run BTS episode there. Not all of them normally buys clothes in person specially Namjoon and JK mostly buys online, and mostly they buy really expensive ones except for JK. This store isnt really high end. I think JK lost in a game or something so he was tasked to buy for them, thats why Jimin sneaked something he wasnt supposed to buy. Suga paid for his jacket and Jhope didnt buy any as he has jackets that he brought. You should watch Run BTS episodes, Summer packages, Bon Voyage so u could have a better understanding of these shortened handpicked clips from some BTS armys who edits and makes videos.

Everyone is right about needing to see the BTS Run episodes to understand why these clips are funny. They travel to different places and are each given a set amount of money to get through certain challenges. As JK's punishment for losing he had to buy everyone a hoodie. The other members were having a blast spending his money. Once they're out of money they having nothing to eat or travel with. It's a hilarious show. - 2:45 - Run BTS episode shot in Canada - it was colder than they thought it would be, so a few of the members didn't bring warm enough clothes (connects with the scene in 4:03) - when they played a game, JK lost, his punishment was to buy each of those few members a few pieces of warm clothes, but they all sort of jumped in on the shopping spree, with JK as daddy Warbucks - 4:33 - Run BTS episode (same as above) - they're playing a game to see who the loser will be - the one they're doing at this moment is the staff gives a country, and they have to come up with the capital city of that country - 3:27 - Run BTS episode - playing another game - each member has a set of words/phrases they can't say that was predetermined by the rest of the group (and they themselves are unaware of what that word or phrase is), and then they are separated into 2 groups to do a debate, one to argue for, the other against, mint chocolate chip ice cream - off-screen are staff members with water guns, each time the boys say their forbidden words, they get sprayed with water - funny ass episode, J-Hope pretty much carried the whole thing with his reactions - 4:51 - Run BTS episode - seeing who can stare at the camera without blinking for 15 seconds, with the staff giving the countdown - but they start to slow waaaaaay down after 10, and Tae blinks (he hates losing a game) - so he gets pouty and angry (in smol) and calls out the producer later as "the culprit" and takes a photo with his camera as "evidence" - 6:40 - Run BTS episode - they're told to come together to play a game first thing in the morning, while they're still half asleep (some members are still asleep and don't make it out until much later) - given one word from their song lyric as a hint, they have to guess and sing the song to match the word, 2 losers have to make pancakes for the rest of the members - 7:36 - Run BTS episode - in Canada, visiting Niagara Falls, they want to use the binoculars, but they don't have any money on them to use it, and have to beg their staff for some cash (poorest millionaires EVER xD) - 8:41 - digging through Jimin's luggage on the way out of his room, pretending like they're vendors at an open market, haggling over prices for cheap clothes (which is funny since all their clothes are expensive name brands) - 9:22 - Run BTS episode - they were told to write poems for each other, which they are now taking turns to read aloud (which is embarrassing) in order by age, hence, JK's anxiety as first, and Jin's anxiety as last - some took it more seriously than others, but each of their poems were really good for surprise assignments - I wouldn't be surprised if we saw some of them show up in their lyrics sometime - 10:30 - Run BTS episode - they played a game the night before (while in Canada), Jimin lost, his punishment was to walk into the freezing lake first thing in the morning - Jin, feeling sorry for Jimin having to do the punishment alone, said he'd join him for this - 11:40 - Run BTS episode - this time, they go to a comic book store - the staff has the boys pick out whatever manhwa (graphic novel) they wish to read, and they all turn into 13 year olds, RM acting out scenes from Naruto while they all sing the theme song - 13:12 - Run BTS episode - 2 teams, bells, have to play a song in cooperation with their team members - J-Hope has some struggles with rhythm and playing the correct bell, Jimin is very intolerant of his mistakes - the looks on Jimin's face are priceless - the first team to finish the song correctly gets rewarded, losing team gets punished - 16:09 - Yeontan, V's little dog - all the members love that lil pup xD - 16:47 - Run BTS episode - playing Mafia - 18:17 - Suga is the game's MC (announcer/host) - since they're an odd number, they often let Suga or Jin MC their games to keep an even number of players (and Suga likes not having to participate, so it's the perfect role for him xD) and maintains the focus on just the boys, with the staff off-screen - 18:39 - when asking who was for, and who was against mint chocolate ice cream, JK, being an unbiased lover of all food, was for, and J-Hope was indifferent, being neither for or against it, so they got teamed up, whereas the other four were absolutely against, hence the 2 vs 4 debate - 18:53 - they were at a Korean public bathhouse, so water everywhere is the norm, so no worries - this was filmed after normal business hours, and the boys and staff cleaned up after themselves - the goal of this game was to fill the cylinder with water using towels and "rescue" the duck - the team with the fastest time was the winner

3:00 the clip when bts was at a clothing store was from *Run BTS Season 4 (ep 57-85).* This season started last Jan 2019 and ended on Aug 2019. If I remember it correctly, Jungkook lost the rock paper scissor game so he has to buy clothes for the members. This was in the US or Canada, in the middle of the LY 2018 world tour. 2:10 *Jimin* said before that he doesn't need anything yet he *secretly* adds a hat while JK is not looking. *RM* caught him and told JK. But RM ended up covering for Jimin by saying that the hat is a freebie hahaha *Yoongi/Suga* - he was always saying that he did not need any clothes yet end up picking one - while the members were shopping, he was nagging them to hurry but when they were about to check out, he started choosing clothes *Jin* - whenever he asks JK if it looks good on him, JK just insincerely says YES I dunno but armys find this funny bc it shows how their personality did not change even if they earned millions already... and touching that JK's buying them clothes. PS. I am doing this again during my study time...gosh!! :D

Also the part where Suga was running, the cam was focused on Suga thats why he was running and the boys was following him, Suga won on the cam focus game something. This was on Vlive where they sang live some of their older, debut songs. The reason why Jhope and Jk were separated from the other group during that Run BTS episode where they get wet as a consequence is, those two likes mint choco flavored ice creams and the other side dont like Mint Choco ice cream, it was the topic of a debate for the game. There are also forbidden words that the members listed themselves. Sorry for the long comments, but yeah its really hard to grasp or comprehend these video clips because its only tiny parts of videos that only makes sense if watched as a whole. That was one of the most hilarious Run BTS episodes, these guys are really silly, funny, super smart, intelligent, creative crackheads but also very humble even if they are given challenges, budgets to go by a certain day or task even in different countries they are in. 💜💜💜💜💜

The water spraying portions were when they were playing a debate game about Mint Chocolate ice-cream, lovers of it in 1 team, the rest in another. During the debate, each member had 2 forbidden phrases/words & he did not know them before hand. If he used his forbidden phrases/words, he will be sprayed... Poor JHope had the forbidden phrase of "Ha Ha Ha" and "urh" which he kept getting sprayed as he was unable to figure out that his laughter is forbidden.

You should probably watch the BTS RUN episodes to understand the context of half of the clips you watch in such compilations. You guys won't regret watching it. Each episode just gets funnier and it shows their true personalities to. They are hilarious! So you had to keep talking in accordance with the debate but the other members named 2 words you weren’t allowed to say. You didn’t know what these words were and if you said them you got -1 point and got sprayed with water. JHopes penalty words were “umm” and “haha” it was really funny bc he laughed a lot and then got penalized 😹 these are 100% more funny when you know the context.
