to be honest the vocal line has some of the best vocal colors to me and they're very unique - at least to me lol - but they do need more training in stability and vocal technique because their live vocals do sometimes get shaky with them putting so much energy into dancing, performing, etc:/

most army's aren't toxic, just very young, uneducated or annoying. I'd say about only 10% are actually 'toxic' whereas about 50% are just really young and annoying.

I mostly agree but I don't think Tae is the only unique voice in BTS' vocal line, I think Jimin's falsetto is as unique as Tae's low raspy voice. I have yet to hear another vocalist in Kpop with as much sweetness and "femininity" in his voice as Jimin, he really sounds unusually feminine (and I don't mean that in a bad way). It's no wonder BS&T is recognized for its iconic first few lines (Jimin's voice). His verses in Home & Love Maze exemplify what I am saying perfectly.

Well said. I understand that in every fandom toxic fans exist as well as in ours, but not all of us are. The most of the army is trying to stop the hate towards them. I don't even remember how many people I met that they don't like bts and still they were making fun of them. But I did nothing, not even try to explain why I love them. I'm just feeling sad about that situation cause it's seriously dump to make fun of someone that you dont even know. And on top of that, the other fandom are blaming you for being toxic while you're trying to protect their reputation.

JungHoseok Slays I’m really sorry about ur experience! But most armys I have met have been super nice and kind and welcoming! Granted harsh at times when mistakes are made but still. I just think that sometimes armys can be very defensive due to everything that has happened in the past. There have been countless events in which other fandoms have attacked us and even sided with some really awful people purely to harm bts ! Not even just the fans but bts themselves. Also I think armys are very concerned about the notion that somebody could be a solo stan or a sasaeng and that they will drag down armys even more than we are already. Most armys are pretty understanding when you don’t like some of their songs. I didn’t really love bwl but it’s growing on me and I love the aesthetic of it. Obviously there will always be some childish armys who will say mean things about u when u say u dislike a song because army is such a huge fandom that unfortunately there’s a lot of negative fans. U just need to follow the right people there’s a huge community of super supportive and kind armys! I hope you still listen to their music if it makes you happy. Also I hope you didn’t leave because u don’t wanna b associated w army because that’s so hurtful and I have heard of many people doing that and then becoming very harmful antis. Anywaayyysss i hope u have a nice day and spread positivity and stuff :D (Also Jungkooks voice is incredible and gorgeous and so insanely stable and I hope that u see that but everyone is entitled to their own opinions lol)

I agree the rap line is stronger because bts was originally supposed to be only rap and a hip hop group. Plus two or three (I think tae could sing) of bts vocal line could not sing so it’s crazy the improvement. Hands down their rap line is the strongest. Their mix tape is something else.

The things that you said at 19:42- 20:36 was completely accurate. Like my cousin's friend said that I'm not a true army because I haven't been to a concert, I don't like all of their songs, I haven't been a fan of them since their debut, I don't watch their v lives, and I have a bias. But this has nothing to do with being a fan or not. I think that armys are BTS' biggest fans but sometimes their biggest haters. Like sometimes the same people who claim they love BTS, also hate on them for making certain decisions. Just how I feel about this topic.

I agree with almost all of these and the rest are some i didn't actually think or know about! I think jimin needs more of a break from singing too. I've been noticing that throughout the years, his live singing has many voice cracks which to me is a sign that he needs a break. They all need breaks. They do many things for us and we love them for it but army sometimes isnt greatful for it which kind of makes me mad sorry at this point im ranting a bit. I just want to say i agree with the opinions in this video and i actually thought about a lot of these opinions as i was watching and listening

so you gonna say all those high notes the vocal line mean anything?? taehyungs vocal range is large, jungkook and jimin can hit really high notes that alot of people cannot do. jin has a very unique angelic voice. taehyung is in the dance line because he went from never dancing to being a great dancer. rapline and vocal are equal, one shouldnt be taken down to raise another. halsey is problematic,yes she has done so many terrible things. just because they collabed doesnt mean we are going to unstan bts, bts has never done anything as bad as she has, they stay away from scandals. txt and bts should be respectful to each other and they do and they like each other, they are a family they've said it themself. when someone says they dont like bts they always say something hateful to make us react, were gonna say something if they trash bts like other fandoms do aswell. your right, they dont need to get american things but it makes them happy which makes us happy. comparing is a way to show how similar. you just talked about how people criticize bts but you said in the beginning that the vocal line isnt that good, dont be a hypocrite.

Lets be real here. BTS has been alone until TXT came along. The whole idea of a "Little Brother Group" is novel and it's going to be a big deal now until people get used to Big Hit having new groups in their company. You have to make an opinion like that a couple of years from now, not while BTS and TXT are still a 'new thing'. For number 9 you need to say it louder. I pay attention to what BTS says about their songs and thought process behind their albums and then I hit the comment section and see Army complaining. It's Like with Sia in the ON track. She was extended that courtesy because she helped produce the track. Army be acting like they have a right to tell BTS who to have on their tracks and how to write their own music. Honestly I think BTS tracks are no less deep now than they have every been before. I just think BTS are always looking for new ways to express themselves and to make their music more palatable. There are bound to be hits and misses because I love Jin but Moon is not my cup of tea at all but I still appreciate that song. Every time I see Army complaining, I just shake my head because even when I don't like something I still support them. Sometime when you are kind to someone, they become ungrateful and some Army are just like that. #18 is the absolute truth... Periodt

Speaking upon the "vaping incident" I personally just think armys were worried about Taehyung 's health although some came off aggressive about the situation but, we're just worried about his health... vapes are just as bad as cigarettes and I feel that people fail to realise that these celebrities are Kpop IDOLS people idolize them and look up to them and the vaping incident if true, can have an impact on those who look up to Taehyung whom are younger than him... I also wanted to share a story about a vaping report from my local news channel but, A 15 or 17 year old boy Vaped only ONCE and he ended up in the hospital in critical condition. Even though Taehyung is an adult a RESPONSIBLE adult at that, vaping can have an impact on you no matter the age and the people surrounding you. But I do agree with your opinion as well I understand both sides:)

About Jimin's shirt controversy, In my opinion it's not stupid if someone takes it personal especially if they're Japanese! Actually it's reasonable, I'm not Japanese either but, speaking as a black person if someone wore a shirt with a fellow black person being ly***** I would take offense even if they didn't so call "know about the issue" because that doesn't justify how a person should or shouldn't feel especially if it's within their culture no one's personal feelings shouldn't be invalidated because someone else thinks it's unnecessary:/

Omg... I was writing a comment on how I’d skip certain songs and have a different opinion on them despite the meaning it holds, like boy with luv, and that I don’t have to be obliged to like it and I have every right to not like it as much... but something else just came to my mind... I’m thinking back on all BTS title tracks and I actually don’t like a lot of their title tracks... I was gonna say I didn’t like the title tracks from DNA and onwards, until ON ( I really enjoy ON 🤪), but **unpopular opinion ahead** I also didn’t like BST and Run. LY Tear is the best album. V is not that great as a soloist. His tone is distinct but too much by itself. A little bit goes a long way. The vocal line is very good and better than EXO’s. Are BTS’ voices perfect? No. But their voices are colorful and full of character. The best singers don’t always have perfect sounds all the time. They are still more interesting than simply being perfect. One of the reason BTS is such a great group is they perform with personality. Their faces show different emotions. They are all great actors on stage. Most KPOP groups, while being good singers dancers and rappers, are a bit robotic with their facial expressions. Agreed that BTS are not babies and that is annoying when fans call them or treat them like babies. Crazy fans are part of every fandom. If the fandom isn’t crazy, the western market wouldn’t care. That’s why they got their foot in the door. Otherwise, no one would have cared to bring them to their shows. Fact. Agree with the Jimin t-shirt so-called scandal. I agree with the whole “true ARMY” thing. Fans should do fandom like they want. There is no one way. This video is too long and goes on and on. Maybe next time, break it up. It’s overbearing. Or change the voice, becuase this one gets annoying after awhile. Just some possible unpopular opinions.

Oh god I hated the whole taehyung vaping thing like it was illegal for him to do so. He's a 24 year old man, if he is vaping than ok let him do what he wants, but I personally don't think he would because his whole career is singing and revolves around his voice and he knows that if he were to vape then it would ruin his voice making it incapable for him to continue his career. Wow bringing another talented group down cause someone told you that BTS aren’t as perfect as you like to think. Every group has a weakness, Exo don’t have the best rap line out there but calling it non existent is very deluded and hateful, I mean have you even listened to the rap verse in their recent comeback, or in Monster or Lightsaber. BTS’ weakness is vocals whether you like it or not. Yes they can sing, just like exo’s rappers can rap, but they’re not the best. Either way both groups are talented and while Exo have one of the best vocal lines in the industry, BTS have one of the best rap lines in the industry, that’s just how it is. At no point did the person making the video say that BTS have a bad or ‘non-existent’ vocal line so stop hating cause all your doing is bringing down people’s opinions of ARMY even more.

@@_dont_mind_me I'm not trying to drag exo tbh Baek and Chen are my favourite Kpop vocalists, and also I'm not trying to say BTS is perfect, I know they are not the best vocal line, but they are still amazing, when I say "non existent rap line" I mean that, do they even have rappers? Chanyeol, Sehun (I think?) And who else (? That's not even enough to make a proper rap line, sorry for my bad english btw

Rosario Doñate Their rap line is Chanyeol, Sehun, Kai and Xiumin. However the latter two are also vocalists cause exo’s songs aren’t really based around rap. And yes you were trying to drag Exo down. The way you worded it “they need to be good at something” was rude and came across like the only good thing about Exo is their vocalists and they’re bad at everything else. If you don’t wanna sound hateful then maybe you should think about what you’re saying in the future cause that comment was obviously bringing down Exo and their rappers.
