yesterday i decided to sit down and listen to a bunch of BTS mv’s, but in order from release date. it made me realize how diverse they are. you go from ‘I NEED U’ into ‘DOPE’, ‘Life Goes On’ into ‘Butter’, ‘Boy With Luv’ into ‘Blackswan’, so on and so on. there is really no boundaries in genres when it comes to BTS. and they pull it off so well (which is why everyone is always so pressed about it.)

The most frustrating part of this is as both a BIGBANG and a BTS fan is that this continuing slander from one side that could be considered “past their prime” feeling the need to drag down a group that has emerged to enormous success must be embarrassing for BIGBANG themselves. BIGBANG has had a whole host of scandals over the years, and all the members and fans have suffered for it (BTS included as they have mentioned how much they admire and respect BIGBANG many times over the years). Just because other artists have held themselves to higher standards and stayed out of these gross aspects of misogyny in Korean culture, it is disheartening to see vindictive fans acting this way. When BIGBANG was in their early days, a win for any kpop group in the west was a win for all international fans. It’s sad to see that the toxic Korean fan wars have clawed their way into the international fan bases over the past years. I also think that a lot of this hostility has come from the jealousy that other fans have when they see how well HYBE/BigHit have treated BTS over the years. This is every fans dream, but sadly whether it is SM or YG fans have continuously watched these companies push their groups off to side in favor of newer, younger artists. It’s heartbreaking, I get it, but don’t take it out on others just to make yourselves feel better.

BTS is not the best overall. You had BAP, TVX, GOT7, Infinite, Block B and more. BIG companies choose a their bias narrative of who they push forward. A part they didn't include in this video that was on the podcast is where they mentioned BTS' popularity since their fully English songs has gone down in South Korea. If by their popularity decreasing they mean fully English songs like Dynamite and Butter being awarded song of the year in South Korea, Spring Day still being on Korean music charts after 7 years, having a sold out concert in Busan, and being awarded Artist of the Year and album of the year in a year where they were barely active. But sure they aren't popular in SK anymore. I just can't wait until 2025, their comeback is going to be huge. And all these haters are going to have to put up with more success and accomplishments from BTS.

BTS was talk so bad about in Korea I’m glad they came to America made a name for themselves. They treated them like dog crap in Korea especially because they came from a company that was not on and Poppin like the big three that I mean the original big three hybrid when I was an itty-bitty baby company and not the big monolith it is now because of BTS, they were talked about so bad and treated so bad in Korea. I can't with this nonsense this woman in the podcast talks. "They were under financial pressure" what? They just build a freacking new entertainment company back then, went on the stock market, outperformed the Big 3 and investors were after them, they bought other labels with other groups. Bang PD made Bighit a private company in this conglomerate, if they wanted money so badly over everything else, he'd never done this step. Then saying TXT was brought to replace BTS and "failed". Bighit has just these two groups, what sense would it make businesswise to have a new unknown group replace your biggest group in the world? Like make it make sense. And acting as if they just put together TXT quickly when the group was planned for years and even got delayed because BTS became so successful in the US and Bighit needed to focus their ressources on them first. And also how did TXT fail? They are one of the 2 most successful boygroups of 4th gen K-pop, Yeonjun is considered the "It boy" of that gen, they have huge success in Japan, Bighit went the slower way and booked smaller venues for them first than they could have had, because Corona had robbed the boys of performance experience before actual audiences, so they needed to slowly grow into it, but first Lolapalooza headliners now BH booked their first stadium for the next tour this year. The fact that the boys couldn't chart on BB Hot 100 is ironically the effect of BTS huge success there and the followed chart rule changes to sabotage that. The K-Pop girl groups could chart because other Hybe companies decided to pay for ads and stuff, which gave big push but BH still doesn't do it, still try the organic fandom building way. TXT will never be BTS, frankly noone will, but to say they are a failure is so dumb. I also find it so ??? when they constantly say Hybe wants money. Like no way, they are NOT a charity? How is it that it's ok for YG to milk fans for literally everything BP, but not even give music or performances for 2 years, but we here being bombarded with a lot of free BTS content, a festival with fireworks etc. and yet BH/Hybe the bad greedy guys? Black Pink literally has an English album,and their highest peak on Billboard is an English song Collab with a popular Western artist. while SuperM literally debuted in America with Marvel Collab & Collumbia record deals 🤝 they were designed specifically to appeal western audience. BTS on the otherhand didn't expect much from Dynamite. Just released Dynamite for fun during pandemic. But it just blew up like any English songs that they release. So Kpop Industry just assumes generic English pop songs is the key. So most kpop groups released English songs after that, and now the Kpop fans hates BTS cause to them it's BTS fault that Kpop doesn't sound Kpop anymore. Exactly. Even groups and soloists releasing full English albums, it's a non-issue but 3 English songs from BTS and the kpop world loses it's shit over it. After watching the 2022 festa dinner I thought man RM was really going thru it, he felt like Life Goes On was ignored when he worked really hard on it (tho I think it had to do a lot with people in the media & industry only talking about the English songs). It made me think man he might not ever want to touch an English group song again or at least that might be how I'd feel in that situation. As an ARMY since debut I can tell you friends who started staning them with me or within the beginnings, before DNA and let me tell you they way they quickly stopped listening to them because they were getting "too popular" and they didn't like the idea of listening to a mainstream group. Which is dumb and I didn't doubt in telling them that. Still we used to be on disagreements, a lot(we're not friends no more) cause I kept being an ARMY and every time they knew I was listening something from BTS they never shut up. I don't care about the level of popularity a group has, if I like, vibe and relate to the music, I'm gonna stan and it's as easy as that. These out there that want to be unique and hate on groups that don't go into their view of Kpop it's infuriating and also stupid. @@arielslack7015 Yes you are correct. However BTS are the only 'kpop' (Idol Group) that also add's Traditional Korean instruments, drum sounds, use's Traditional myths, traditions references. I've not seen anything like that in the rest of Idol music. BTS are just different. Can we really called them a Kpop group sometime's I wonder yes they came together did some sort of training system, compete in Kpop award show's but are they really completely an Idol group or do they have fingers in many pies?

KPop boy groups burst out forward when the last US male group B2K went under disbanded. General Kpop and. Jpop especially visual cosplay rock bands such as US, KIZZ or JP BUCKTick, GLAY. Basically, US had normal genres pop, soul, jazz rock go however, Japan anime scores, visual cosplay rock or pop and much more...... Now Loop trailed slow maybe because of strict custom/culture. They even tried rock with visual cosplay but ithey was not as successful as Japan. So they aimed tc cross over to US market appeal geared with pop and urban dance to crossover into multiple markets including US. Such as Rap, Hip hop. For example: most US female Rappers are labeled nasty and male thug or criminals but Korean musical artist in same genre is consider pool new likeable

What do we expect, this made no sense to me, what was the actual points they were trying make? Just throwing on anything to screen! They couldn't ever understand the depths to which these artists go to make amazingly deep meaning music.. this is coming from NON professionals, just another persons opinion. Just the way this guy speaks, he's a blowhard, he speaks like he's a rappid fire sports analyst, so excited to know all about something and nothing, trying to speak so fast and punchy.. Cold play sucks like most can’t sing live why BTS is so great they do . He is his got great stage presence . When BTS was on stage with him and mic went out he sounded horrible because that is how he sounds BTS bailed his ass out .
