Tammy's pov of what her grandpa told her, is that you don't give money that you know you might need. Only give what you are okay with not getting back. Let her finish her point instead of assuming what she is talking about. It wasn't about the relationship, it was about what you can afford

I keep hearing y’all say it’s sad to not have close friends at 22-23 lol I’m 32 and I don’t have any close friends. It is hard and it can get lonely especially when you’re single as well. Thank goodness I’m social.

i found you guys from your viral tiktok and i’ve been obsessed. i usually don’t comment ever, i just like and watch to support but i love my fellow nigerian women talking on various issues paired with such humor and i especially loved this video bc of the topic and it really hit close to my heart for me. i feel seen but anyways sha you’ve gained a new active listener and i look forward to all the new episodes!

34:57 It’s beautiful to see that special kind of best friend between Sharon and Beatrice, I had something similar until my friend got married and had her daughter then the relationship definitely changed, the best friend is now a couple so the dynamic between us had to changed and has never been the same again. She’s now the married friend and I’m the single friend, we both have children, I have a daughter and thought we could relate as we both was pregnant at the same time but it wasn’t the same, years later when I felt that she wasn’t there for me during having surgery recently, she brought up the fact that I didn’t give her a SECOND baby shower when she was pregnant, even thought I was pregnant too with my First baby. Some friends or best friends you have to take with a pinch of salt because I’m now like Tammy when you get burnt later on in the friendship, it really hurts and you have to tell your heart to let it go to preserve your inner peace ❤
