Logically speaking he has lived 30+ years in a certain way. What makes women think they are capable of changing this person all of a sudden when they only known each other for a year. Honestly, if this man isn't praying his 5 times, smokes weed, isn't providing for his wife, Islamically, does this man even fear Allah? I'd recommend this sister go visit a scholar or religious figure and ask if their Nikkah is even valid with this person who doesn't even uphold the basic tenets of Islam. If a man can divorce a woman for not being a good wife or Muslim, it should be possible to do so the other way around.
