As a Toon fan Aston Villa deserve to have one of the very coaches in Europe and i wish the very best. Hopefully these two clubs will change the do called big six. 😊

Bang on mate! Those psr rules need to be squashed so we can both start to close that gap. Id like Harvey Barnes at villa cracking player him

Been a long time! I was at the last European Cup match at VP v Juventus. Didn't think I'd see Villa in the competition again. Awesome job Emery has done.

Pleased that he paused to remember Gary Shaw. Many of us ‘not too old’ villains remember Gary with great fondness and pride, true Villa hero of the highest calibre, both as a player and as an individual. Nobody who was there will ever forget the 80-81 campaign and lifting the European Cup. Gary was instrumental across both seasons. Here’s too a successful campaign starting tonight. UTV

Hoping Villa v Celtic in the last game of the league phase is meaningful for us (Celtic) in January. Villa can do well and certainly qualify for play offs (position 9-24).

@@villatrinity3518 and yet still one of the most successful clubs in England. They did win a European Cup and no amount of referee corruption will change that. Chelsea and City are only their bevause they bought their place. Leeds were bigger than both before the introduction of foreign money. Last club to win the English title with an English manager
