I can’t speak highly enough about this manager. He has done an incredible job with Villa and he deserves all the success he has worked so hard to achieve. However what impresses me most about him is his integrity and attitude towards the game, he is an absolute gentleman. He never complains or whinges about anything and always accepts the situation and gets on with the job. I feel so privileged to have him at Aston Villa and hope he stays for a long time. UTV

@@mcalpha3 Because he was the start of our journey to where we are now. The spine of that side is from players that were signed in his tenure. And players like Watkins and Konsa, were no doubt signed because of Smiths experience with them previously. So he deserves a bit of credit. But no-one is doubting that Emery has enabled the players to push on a couple more levels beyond what Smith was capable of.

A Gentleman and humble, which means he is underestimated and over looked as he doesn’t make it about him, but he is a footballing genius, focused like no other, and is showing the world he is now among the elite. Any pundit who offers half baked commentary on Emery’s Villa don’t follow closely enough, he doesn’t have a weakness it’s circumstances or limitations only that hold Villa back.
