It’s never any players fault for the price they are sold for, Rice was not the one who valued himself at £105m but he will have to unfairly carry that pressure on his shoulders. For me, Rice must play in midfield in the "Xhaka role", or in a double pivot with Thomas Partey with Odegaard as number 10. A balanced midfielder who is less exposed to counter-attacks.

I think he can also play dm when teams sit deep & we don't need as much defense or I thaught it was very interesting with Partey as a inverted RB just like Zinchenko (if he isn't playing that role on the left)... anyway we have many options now. I only hope someone steps up when it comes to communication & leadership on the pitch since Xhaka was very influental & underated when it comes to that.
