Testing Buckshot in the New M3500!

We're testing some tried and true buckshot hunting rounds in the new Stoeger M3500! We set up at 50 yards and the 1st rounds tested were excellent performers!

Wade as you know I like extra tight patterns. I shot a 3500 like that for years. I shot a standard full Kicks in it with 000 and it was an absolute beast. But you better be on target or you would miss. But nothing would carry a load away

Would a star crimp help with the melting of the hulls? I know you star crimped in yhe past but I can't remember the results. Great video.

I just started roll crimping but my roll crimps are long than my fold crimps and they are longer than factory 3 inch why is that

That's not unusual at all. Sometimes the roll crimp can be around 1/8th inch longer than the standard crimp. You can trim about 1/16th of an inch off of the hull and it will lower your roll crimp overall length by 18th inch.

By them being longer like that will it make them not want to cycle in a 3 inch gun if I do nothing to them

I did a lot of shooting thru the factory chokes with my m3000 John! A couple of them did decent with some of my buckshot loads.
