I got a sense that Tomac was actually doing Webb a favor. Riding so close behind AP, it could only serve to make AP nervous and potentially make some mistakes. As soon as Sexton let AP go by, Sexton looked over his shoulder over the finish line jump and saw Webb behind him. My conclusion is Sexton rode wide to hold off Webb from catching up to AP. Not saying Web would have made the pass for the win but Sexton knew what he was doing. Barcia congratulating AP and pulling his tear off was very nice way of showing respect on his first win.

Jett is still a kid. We all say and do dumb crap at that age. It’s a teaching moment and hopefully he grows from it. A lot of hate gets thrown his way because he is extraordinarily talented and achieved so much at a young age. I’m sure it’s frustrating to some of the riders who have been on the circuit a while. Maybe some jealousy and sour grapes on some riders parts because Jett “hasn’t paid his dues” to enjoy the level of success he’s had. As a culture we love to tear people down once they’ve become uber sucessful. AMA, NBC have built this kid up and put him under a tremendous amount of pressure snd scrutiny. Sudden fame isn’t handled well by someone who’s 30 let alone someone who just turned 20. We need to give him a little grace IMHO. Jason Anderson is not one of my favorite riders, nor has is one of my least favorite riders. I’m neutral when it comes to him. However as the seasoned veteran he should not have reacted to the provocation. But sometimes we all lose our patience and we all let emotions get the better of us.
